We decided to come here after searching for various apple picking orchards near Woodstock, NY. It was a fantastic family outing for all of us. The drive there was so pretty, and it definitely helped that it was a gorgeous sunny fall day. We got to the orchard and were greeted by the friendly staff. Found the apple trees, parked, and spent a good hour and a half picking apples and enjoying the scenery. It was our daughters first time and definitely a memory we will remember. Will be making this a yearly event for the family.

Small farmers market compared to Rhinebeck on Sundays Plus: indoors air conditioned setting, variety of vendors food and non — food, goat farm Can improve: it has a rustic feel, food prices bit pricey if you like eating outdoors

Best tasting blueberries ever! No pesticides. All ages enjoyed picking as you don’t have to be tall to reach the produce. Spent an hour and would have stayed longer if not for the rain. Close to woodstock where we stayed. Friendly staff. Not too expensive considering we are quite a bit. We offered to pay extra for the sampling and were told«that’s expected– it’s the point of picking :)»

Went with kids and grandparents. Very easy. Pull up in your car to the row you want to pick. Super easy. The blue berry’s were great!

Nice place to go blueberry picking. Rows and rows of bushes with beautiful plump blueberries. Very scenic backdrop too. Reasonably priced and you can keep the bucket.

Every time I come here to pick fresh fruit, I’m never upset. I’m a city bred cat but fresh fruit kicks ass! Do you know how much it is in the local supermarkets. I’m buying plums not gold nuggets! We picked blueberries and it was cool since I’ve never picked them before. We usually come here for apples, pumpkins and raspberries but blueberries were a whole new thing. If you check out my pictures they were BIG and plentiful. It’s peach season right now and that’s another thing I’ve never had the chance to pick. FYI — The blueberries are going for under $ 3 a pound. We got just over 3 pounds for under $ 10

Wonderful people running a wonderful setting for friends and families, including the dog(other than strawberry season) to enjoy the serenity of the land. Throw the football, eat lunch, find delicious fruits; apples, raspberries galore. Extremely friendly and much more preferable than rose hill.

Don’t be fooled – that’s Red Hook in the Hudson Valley, NOT where the Brooklyn IKEA is! I was desperate for a place to pick apples, pumpkins, and to see some fall foliage before the end of the season and it seemed as though most of the farms were closing up shop to you-pick wannabes like myself. Fortunately, Greig Farm not only had orchards of apples, but a separate, huge field just for pumpkins, and still another field of raspberries. The apple trees were all low hanging, which was a little unfortunate. I was looking forward to climbing apple trees! However, there was a plentiful selection of different apple types(jonagold, empire, staymen, red delicious, just off the top of my head) and plenty of apples. There were lush, rolling grassy hills and beautiful views of the autumnal foliage surrounding us everywhere. The raspberries were pretty sad(all dried up, and scant at best) but we WERE there at the end of the season(end of October). The only apples I wanted that were all picked over were the Honey Crisps, but the rest of the apple types had enough to go around. As for the pumpkins, there were a few gross looking ones, but some really good ones still! You definitely need a car to get here(although the website will say you can take Metro North, etc) because the fields are pretty far apart. When you pull up to the lot, they’ll direct you to the apples, hand you bags, and you pay on your way out!
