First time there. We both had Lucolis, which are double crusted pizzas with fillings. The crusts are incredibly thin. The fillings are home made. This is handmade, rustic food of a caliber I wouldn’t expect to find in this area. For dining in, atmosphere is lacking, but it was not uncomfortable. The owner, who is Italian, is friendly and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable. We’ll be back, and next time I’ll try the pizza margherita.

Really unique and delicious classic pizza. Red Hook is really lucky to have the kind of specialty pizza you really don’t usually find outside of a city. Service is wonderful. And the food, absolutely impeccable northern-italian pizza.

I’ve never been to a pizza place quite like this before. I loved the thin crispy crust and the fresh made cheese. I would go there again. It was very good.

Best and most fresh pizza in the Hudson Valley! The fresh made mozzarella is to die for and the service is top notch. I order a specialty pizza every visit(which is not on the menu) and it’s made every time for me with a smile. I love the pizza here!

This is excellent thin crust pizza. We found the sauce and cheese to be especially rich, with a deeply seasoned taste. The ingredients were fresh and neatly arranged on the pizza. This is the best take-out pizza that I have had in the area, especially at such a reasonable price.

Delicious organic ingredients and a unique oven. The owner who is also the pizza chef was sweet and helpful. So happy to have a pizzeria that cares what ingredients they use! Best pizza I’ve had in the area

This place serves a reasonably priced thin crust brick oven pizza(ten bucks for a good sized personal pizza with homemade mozzarella and two other toppings). The lucoli(a house specialty) turned out to be a pizza burrito(not a complaint, just an observation: I liked it well enough). About the only complaint was with the house salad dressing. The salad itself was a nice mix of greens(especially considering it’s November), but the dressing was mostly olive oil with only a hint of vinegar. Mind you, it was good olive oil, and would have made a great dip for bread, but it was a little bland for salad.

Love this pizza! The staff was friendly, the owner very nice, and we love the overall concept of this great new addition to the Red Hook/Rhinebeck food scene. We started with the basic $ 4 pizzas(red or white) and went from there. Topped them from a long list of fresh vegetables, cheeses, etc, that were all wonderful and reasonably priced. Most were only $ 1.50 or $ 2 each. Many were even locally sourced. We created two fantastic pizzas and enjoyed each delectable bite of each slice we ate… right down to the last bite of the crisp, tasty crust. Their creative selection of bottled sodas and teas was a nice compliment. Sated and impressed with our new discovery, we took the leftovers home and were further surprised to find that the pizzas were even great the next day. We put them in the toaster oven for about 7 minutes, and loved them again for lunch. In fact, we liked the pizzas so much, we returned to Lucoli before heading back to the City. We ordered three more, drove to Manhattan, popped them in the freezer, and enjoyed them later in the week. Welcome Lucoli!

What a welcomed change in pizza for the area. I chose the Ovali Red. Wonderfully crisp crust with amazing sauce and cheese. Red onion topping very nicely complemented the sauce. The house salad was fresh and plentiful with a delightful dressing. Perfect for lunch or light supper.
