Best Pizza in town, always fresh and hot… prices are very reasonable as well. Very friendly staff!

Delicious pizza. May need a fork for the center of the pie, it’s thin there so my cheese & toppings slid off. Prices are great! I had my baby in my arms and my wallet in my hand so one of the men insisted on carrying my pizza to my car for me. That was so helpful, I hope to come back even though I’m an out-of-towner.

No garlic knots, no wings. What kinda pizza place is this? Pizza’s are Ok, but salads are a total rip off.

I have bought pizza from this place before. Either for a party or when I have time for nothing else. Generally, is not a big deal to buy a cheap and fast slice for take out. Today, however, we decided to eat-in and order a large pie. After a 25-minute wait, we realized that several other people that arrived later both for take-out and dine-in were getting their food before. One of their staff realized the same as well and went and ask for our pizza. They said the next one will be ours and that everyone else had asked before. Funny enough, even other customers said that wasn’t true and some even offered for us to get their pizza. Hey, but it is a small town and we are supposed to be friendly so we said: «No worries, we’ll wait». After another 20 minutes and 5 other pizzas of the same kind given to others it was clear that were not as lucky as any of the other reviewers here. So, long story short, we decided to leave and let them know that we were not interested in waiting any more. When I raised the issue they were dismissive. I also at the time thought they were being rude given not only what happened but also the fact that we probably buy 50 pies or more per year from them. I may be bitter right now, but I think this experience will factor in the next time we are looking for pizza. As for the comments on the flavor and venue, I may have had bad luck(again) but I really don’t see what other reviewers have seen. It does tastes like average NYC pizza, but that this tastes like Italy or that the atmosphere is great doesn’t sound right at all. The core fact is that is cheap pizza(and that could be good). Just keep that in mind and expect what you pay for: mercurial service, an outdated venue and, if you are lucky, a pizza within 1 hour.

Just moving up here from New York City Manhattan I’m somewhat of a pizza snob and when I walked in and saw how reasonably priced and inexpensive the pizza was I was sort of not expecting much I figured you know for less than $ 2 a slice if the pizza is not that good I really didn’t waste that much money I wanted a Sicilian slice but it wasn’t out of the oven yet they told me I would need to wait 10 minutes I said no problem i sat down and everybody kept asking me if I was taking care of the staff was very attentive while I was waiting I got to watch the pizza man toss the pizza dough in the air very old school something that you don’t see anymore for a young 19 or 20 something year old man I was very impressed. the pizza came out and it exceeded my expectations the quality of the cheese the amount of cheese the taste of the sauce the thickness of the Sicilian crust the fact that they asked if I wanted a middle slice or end piece instead of just giving me any slice must places wouldn’t bother. just everything about the whole experience was amazing I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu

This local eats, gives the feeling that I got when I was in Italy. The ingredients are fresh and from the area. The owner is hardworking and honest. You get more than a good dinner or lunch here, you get the experience of being fulfilled and knowing that your food came from a good place. I would highly recommend this spot, if you are looking for a tasty treat. Keep in mind that the price is higher than you might expect, but it is worth every penny.

Came in with a friend and the guy behind the counter Is doing tricks with the pizza dough he’s using for his next pizza. We both order slices of cheese which were pretty good. The open kitchen is cute and they had some old-fashioned music playing which was a nice added touch. Overall, my friend and I had a pretty good experience.

Excellent NY style pizza served in a casual pizzeria. Their pizza finds the right balance between dough, cheese and sauce for a slice that’s satisfying, but not over the top heavy. Calzones, pasta and salads are also well executed here. It’s honest, satisfying food that’s perfect for lunch or dinner… Pizza the way it was meant to be. Artisanal, no. Delicious, yes. Ben the owner is a super guy who not only turns out great food at an affordable price, but supports the schools and non-profit groups in the community.

One of the best slices of pizza around. Cheap too!!! Definately try the meatball parm sub too. The meatballs are made by hand and more than enough food at $ 5.50. Strongly recomend it!

Village is by far our favorite weekly stop! Food is consistent, service is outstanding and Ben is a great guy! The pizza is hand spun, the crust is amazing, sauce is superb! If you want a real treat get a calzone! The insides are gooey and creamy, uhh now I’m hungry! Oh and let me just say… Buffolo Chicken Pizza… Yeah! Get it! Prices are great, especially for families. I especially love that I can be out plowing at night and I’m able to stop by there at 11:00 at night and still get a great hot slice!

A slice of pie for less than $ 2… AND it’s phenomenal!!! Count me in! This is my first time here, but not my first rodeo when it comes to a good NY pie. This place is absolutely fantastic! Let me tell you why… Let’s start with the most important piece of the pie(har har)… the crust. Hand made and hand tossed… for REAL! It’s thin enough to get a great crispiness, but thick enough to hold all of those delicious, fresh toppings. Let’s talk about those. We ordered 2 whole pies. First was a cheese only, and the second was a ‘garbage’ pie which included sausage, onion, pepperoni, black olives, and extra cheese. The cheese was evenly distributed, and the sauce was great! Just enough to get the flavor, but not too much as to drown the flavor of all of the ingredients. I will definitely be back.

You can grab a great slice here, and they’ll have it ready for you quickly. My only complaint is they do not take credit cards(under a certain amt), so its the kind of place I can only grab a slice if I have cash in my pocket; which is rare.

I’m pretty picky about my pizza. The crust has to be crunchy on the outside but doughy on the inside, the cheese has to be melted and uniformly spread, the sauce has to have flavor but not too salty. Also, I hate greasy-it totally takes away from the flavor with all that fat coming out of it! So how does Village Pizza compare? Well. The crust IS excellent. And i think they do a good job of making the cheese uniformly spread out across the whole pie. I think the sauce is too salty for me personally, but good balance of spices otherwise. And, I do not like this«I pick up my pizza slice and a gallon of fat drips off of it» business. It seriously really ruins my meal when my pizza is sitting in a puddle of pizza grease. However, for $ 1.75, this is what you get. it’s the cheapest slice around. If I am looking for a really quick meal and have nowhere else to go, it’s alright. Also: why don’t they deliver!!!

I have been using Village Pizza for a pretty long time now. A good pizzareia with decent prices and a decent selection of beverages(although you may have to pick out of the refrigerator they have onsite for the public.) Starting at $ 9.50(small pan-$ 10 for large pan or $ 1.65 per slice) prices aren’t too steep. Dependant on type of pizza(they also got sicilian). But cheese isn’t the only topping they got. They also carry onions, mushrooms, peppers, sausage, pepperoni, meatballs, ham, anchovies, brocolli, bacon, pineapple, black olives, and jalapenos, so the topping choices are almost endless. They also have the makings of italian dinners, salads of all types, calzones, hot subs, and cold subs too. Prices do vary. I only find a few drawbacks about this place. Their bathrooms are located in a small corner, tucked away where no one is able to see them. Also, there arent many side order choices. Thirdly, the ambunce of the amount of tables, makes it impossible to find an empty seat, when you need pizza the most(evening rush hour is the pits). Outside that, its a decent come-back again type of place.

This place has mostly positives for me. It is incredibly inexpensive. The calzones are amazing. The subs are great. But I have some issues with the pizza. Their pizza would be decent, but for 1 thing– the sauce. There are tomato peels in the sauce. WHY? Why do they sully their sauce with peels…

Good quality pizza. It’s really cheap too! Where can you get a slice for $ 1.50? I request their spicy chicken pizza which isn’t on their menu, but they do it. You can eat in if you like, that’s if you don’t mind the middle schoolers’ gossips.
