A great place to bring your dogs and have a good meL. Order at the window. Sit at one of the outdoor picnic tables. Enjoy the mountain view and listen to the bubbling spring. If you are lucky, Daisy, a local deer, may be close by for you to feed her.

This place is not just good for a Red River restaurant it is good food for anywhere. The brisket sandwich was awesome and the fries are really good. I wish I had tried it earlier in the trip.

Houston, TX
Great people and a fun place to eat. There is nothing else in red river similar to the hideout. A mix of barbecue and Tex-​mex that makes for a satisfying lunch. This is a great place to bring the kids. There are games to play and a great river view. I recommend sharing the Nachos or going for the tacos. The corn is delicious, but not low calorie.
