Stopped by last night after walk through sundial bridge. We sat outside because we had the dog. Great food and great service! We will be back during our next visit to Redding. Highly recommended.

Just finished having dinner at this restaurant. It was excellent! The chicken marsala was flavorful, juicy and served with two chicken breasts. The lamb special rocked… especially the ricotta pasta that accompanied it. Also, the food presentation was delightful. Being from Marin County, the food served here was definitely up to my taste buds!

Wow! Delicious food! Started with Brie appetizer. Loved loved loved it! Had the steak & crostini appetizer for dinner. Flavorful! The curry shrimp was full of flavor and everything was served with flare! Highly recommend. Will come back next time we drive through Redding. Clue to find it: turn right on Yuba not left like the map program directs you.

This restaurant really is a little gem. My husband and I totally enjoyed our dinner last night. The baked Brie starter was so deliciously decadent with the roasted garlic, olive tapenade and crostini. My husband had fettuccine Alfredo with a side of roasted vegetables. Alfredo was flavorful, made with very good ingredients. Vegetable side contained a nice variety and enough to easily share. I had the Ahi and although it was a tad overdone, the lemon sauce with capers, slightly tart, was the perfect partner. The portions were ample and the prices very fair. The paintings, colors and music gave this little secret an upscale but casual feeling. We will definitely return!

My wife and I had the most wonderful meal tonight. Cafeparadisio has got to be the best kept secret in Redding. Service and décor is impeccable. Food quality and preparation first class.

We left an awesome review last time and we were completely satisfied, but sorry to say the place has taken a dive. The chef was outside drinking and taking up space, listening in as we ate, serving up a mess, blackened salmon was under cooked then microwaved into a sponge, yuck. My wife’s lasagna was greasssy. I don’t think we’ll be back. No drinking on the job bro, drink on your own time. #Wasted.

Some of the best grilled tuna I’ve ever had. The beet salad was delicious and the live music set the perfect tone for our date night.

Great inspired food. The baked brie appetizers is out of this world. Their wine list is huge and we always have a great time at this restaurant.

We had heard rave reviews about this place and decided to have dinner here tonight. Great ambiance, food and service. We will definitely refer Old Thyme Bed and Breakfast guests here.

Can’t believe that this place isn’t packed. Every time my wife and I go(which is later at night, granted… and they DO stay open later than most comparable restaurants in town) we have been so happy with the food, service, and overall feel of the place. They also have a very extensive(I mean, it’s HUGE) wine list. Owners run the thing, and quality is high consistently. Love it!

One word — delicious! … Also another word, friendly! We brought our tired kiddos on a pit stop from Seattle to the Bay Area. We had Lasagne, Chicken Parm and Pasta. No real kids menu, but they enjoyed the Fettuccini. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and look to go again on our next pass through.

Baked Brie appetizer was amazing, however, the rest of the meal was disappointing. Chicken Parmasian was just 2 breasts for $ 16 and nothing else to add noodles you have to pay extra or any sides you have to pay extra. You’d think they would have a nice hot bread to go with your meal, no. My husband had the New York steak he ordered medium rare with pink, he got med no pink. Lovely bistro atmosphere but not worth the price and if this was supposed to be fine dining please work on your main course menu. Not sure how this has 4.5 stars, it’s defiently not up to par to compete with real fine dining, but I guess what can I expect in Redding.

Wonderful atmosphere, the service is complementary and well versed, and the cuisine is spectacular! I have been several times now and every time is as pleasing as the first exceptional experience.

Wow, this classy lil joint really impressed my wife and I. Very intimate space w a live band(bonus points) and great wait staff. Wine selection seemed good(although I’m easy to please). I had the salmon fettuccine Alfredo($ 14)AMAZING! The salmon was bracken with some kind of spice and was great w the pasta. Loved it. My wife had the chicken breast w capers and she thought it was super good. All in all, very impressed. The food, the staff, the space– top notch. It’s on the spendy side but there are affordable options. They serve food ‘ala carte’ so the sides are extra– kinda weird to me but ok– just makes things look cheaper than they are. But I’m ok w that. The quality and the atmosphere was well worth it and we will def be back! Ps– still trying to figure out why the chef continually walked outside… maybe we’ll ask next time we go

This place is great. It’s an intimate setting with fresh and healthy menu options. I ordered the spinach salad with salmon on top and my partner ordered the zen bowl with salmon substitute. Both were delicious and simple, yet flavorful. The chef came out to ask us how our meal was as well, and was very appreciative and friendly. Overall a great 4-star experience. Portion sizes were good for the price.

The brie plate is a winner Been here twice, first time I had the Ahi, it had to be sent back. Next time I had chefs special, pork it was ok, brussell sprouts tasted like oil was bad and the scalloped potatoes tasted like chef boirdee. My friend swithed me and hatred it I ate her chicken masala which was not marsala but edible. The owners wife is alwaus there. but in the way. He sits outside drinking wine the service was ok. But when we complained. about the special she said she would inquire about our unhappiness, nothing was done The outreach crisp is amazing. Hence the star

must say im very pleased with this place. my gf and I came at 10:15 for the late night menu. I ordered the meatball sub and added grilled pepper and onion. the serving was very hearty. could only say great things about it minus the bread it was nothing special. we also ordered the mac and cheese it was very tasty. my gf got the chicken quesadilla. we also got french press coffee which i wasnt that happy with. my gf liked it tho. even got dessert all for $ 40 bill tipped $ 10 for the great service i would rate it 4 stars but the service made me not. all in all a great little spot to stop. i look forward to getting lunch or dinner in the future

On the pricey side for Redding. It’s the sort of place where the fish comes by itself on the plate and you order a salad separately. Nonetheless, very good all the way through the meal. My map app took me the wrong way down Yuba street; this restaurant is small, but look for the warm, inviting space with full tables and bustling waitstaff. I liked how intimate and cozy it was. We sat in the corner and were able to watch everything coming and going to the kitchen. My dad didn’t like the wooden bench built into the corder because the backrest hit him at an uncomfortable angle, but when you’re eating you’re not leaning against that part anyway. Go ahead and order a bottle of wine, I trust the glass pours were adequate, however, the shape of the glass was deceptive so I felt like we didn’t get enough. Green grapes come out complimentary while you wait for your food. My dad ordered a beet salad that I was incredibly jealous of. Be adventurous, get the beet salad that you wouldn’t normally make at home. The Caesar was satisfactory. My barbeque salmon with pineapple salsa was perfect; cooked nicely, presented prettily, and oh-so-tasty. My dad had Ahi with some sort of wasabi cream sauce that he wouldn’t even share, so that must have been great as well. Other tempting things on the menu: chicken marsala, lasagna(I saw a serving of this go by and WOW!), steak medallions. Not sure what the theme is, but there’s a little bit of everything. Staff was attentive and friendly. They didn’t glower at me when I managed to somehow knock over a wine rack trying to climb out of the corner bench seat. Luckily nothing was broken save for my pride.
