If you are looking for a «barber» this is the place. Charlie Hackler is definitely a barber. Don’t expect t o get blow dried or styled, just an old fashion haircut. He even does the hot foam and straight razor on the back of the neck and around the ears. Something you won’t find in many places these days. I have been going to this shop for 18 years and have never walked out dissatisfied with the results. This shop is truly an old school shop with a single barber chair, three shelves of magazines, and six comfortable chairs for waiting. For $ 13 you get a top notch hair cut. He does the extras you don’t normally see; like trimming ear hair and eyebrows. Charlie has health issues and is required to eat at a set time. If you come in near his lunch time you will be sent away and told to come back after lunch, so make sure to plan accordingly.
