Having some dental work done. Mike and his team are so professional and gentle. I actually enjoy putting my feet up when they clean my teeth. They also don’t pressure you to do more work on your teeth. Mike says“Patient’s choice” when it come to replacing fillings or needing more work done.

Simply the best dental care Redding has to offer. Dr. Dinius and his staff are very caring, very delightful and true professionals. I’ve been to several dentists in this town over the last 30 years. I had the pleasure of becoming a patient of Dr. Dinius about 10 years ago. He and his staff are a pleasure to do business with.
Brooke B’s review has it all wrong. The best dentists are normally heavily booked months in advance, have very few cancellations and time constraints can prevent them from taking on emergencies. My observation has been that many dentists are closed on Fridays. I’m sure this is due to the fact that they and their staff put in many long hours during the course of Monday through Thursday.
I feel bad Brooke didn’t get the immediate care she thought she deserved, but her experience with Dr. Dinius was the exception rather than the norm. Good luck finding a provider who performs immediate emergency dentistry in any town (on your schedule). If it were me and I needed immediate pain management, I probably would have went to a hospital emergency room until I could make other arrangements.

Very Friendly Dentist. My family has seen Dr. Dinius for several years in Redding, and he has always been very warm and professional. Not to many Doctors and Dentist remember you and whats going on in your life, but Dr. Dinius and his staff are very engaged and always available to help. My son had a cavity filled and Dr. Dinius called us at home that evening to make sure that he was doing OK. If you want a competent, calm, professional dentist he is your guy. In addition the office staff is very friendly and always able to accommodate our busy schedules to get us seen.

I called for an appointment because of pain.
I needed an emergency visit because my tooth is keeping me up at night and it’s sensitive to everything. Pressure, hot and cold.
Ibuprofen 800 mg, twice a day, isn’t doing the trick any more.
Sound like root canal to you? I don’t need to be a doctor to know «this patient needs a procedure done».
They squeeze me in, only to take x-​rays and look at my mouth.
No thorough exam/​evaluation.
No treatment.
Only a referral and an Rx for an antibiotic.
The surgeon they referred me to, Dr. Smith, isn’t open on Fridays and they won’t even squeeze me in as an emergency.
They were going to make me wait OVER A MONTH to get a root canal.
Waste of time and money!
If you just want a cleaning or a basic check up — go to Dinius.
But if you want treatment, go somewhere else.
All I had to do was call Shasta Dental Care with Dr. Crummett and they treated me that afternoon! Done!
