Went for a bike ride around Redding and came across this place with my girlfriend. Great prices and fat hot dogs. Got some Sun tea and a kraut polish. Only thing I wish was that I got another because I fell into a deep depression street I ate it all. Friendly staff too! Will be back!

Love this place. Best Casper dogs in town. Can’t say enough about the food and the service is always fast and people working couldn’t be nicer.

Got me a Polish chili dog. Was incredible, so very tasty! Glad I stopped by after shopping at Orchard nutrition. My new favorite lunch spot after grocery shopping,

Yes, it’s a good, solid place. I know a lot of people would opt for Wilda’s when it comes to getting a hotdog. That’s okay, I’m not arguing with the Wilda’s crowd but sometimes, you just want a slim and satisfying hotdog that you can eat on your way back to work in the car. Fast Weenies doesn’t disappoint. It’s run by some nice people, it’s clean, orderly and cute(right next to Orchard Nutrition). Most importantly, it’s fast. Now, I try really hard to make even my fast options somewhat«healthier.» Hotdogs, though not typically listed under health-food, are okay for me under certain conditions. I like that fast weenies is family-owned. The service I’ve gotten the few times I’ve been there has definitely had that – «We really appreciate your business and we want to make sure that you’re happy and that you keep coming back” – feel to it. I like that, and I will be coming back. Recommend: Casper Kraut Dog – hits the spot, man. Wish List: Can I buy a bottle of Mexican Coke from you guys? Not really into Pepsi :/

Cool little hot dog shop choc-full of charm. I’m not typically a huge hot dog fan, but if I want a quick bite these reasonable prices and friendly service are hard to beat. Plus it’s called Fast Weenies, which is the best name ever. Definitely worth checking out if you’re craving a weenie.

Finally got past the name and drove through for a fast Polish Kraut yesterday out of convienence as I was shopping at Orchard(Redding’s poor excuse for a natural foods store). Blech. Don’t waste your time with this place… just head over to Wilda’s instead. I wished I had after eating my dog. I’m not sure the«Polish» sausage on my dog was even made with meat, it was extremely poor quality. Overall this was a waste of $ 6 for a very sub par dog and I will never go back to Fast Weenies again. Not sure why there are so many rave reviews for this place as it is entirely underwhelming like most of the food in Redding.

Forget Wienerschnitzel! This little drive thru(what appears to be a coffee hut) has some great dogs. My favorite, the Casper Dog! Oh too good. The bread is good enough to eat by itself.

I’m so glad Katie jogged my memory on this one. It’s really the only place in Redding to get a good dog. And it’s called Fast Weenies. FASTWEENIESPEOPLE! Seriously. What could be better than that? Go get yourself a dog next time you’re driving up the I-5.

In a place where nobody walks and the sidewalk hot dog stand would never work, they’ve created a drive-through version. In the days when I was vegetarian I would sneak bites of my sister’s Fast Weenies. They don’t do anything crazy to the hot dogs like drown them in beer glaze or fresh fruit, but sometimes a big, well-cooked weenier is all you want or need.
