I don’t know a lot about cars but i can say that this shop is very honest and doesn’t try to sell you a service you don’t need! I hate when i go to get my car worked on and am not sure if i really need a service that is being suggested. Their prices were fair and i didn’t leave feeling like I was overcharged.

Great place for transmission repair or diagnosis. These guys have worked on my 68 Camaro now a few times and always treat my car good and fix the issues I’ve brought it in with. Mark is fair and honest. Would recommend these guys and do recommend them any chance I get.

What a great place! Hartnell rebuilt our transmission in April and warrantied it for two years. We had trouble with it a few months later for whatever reason, and Hartnell was on the case. They sent a tow truck out immediately, the owner himself rented us a car to use on our road trip and they rebuilt it again, free of charge. The warranty stood up to the test of time. The owner even had someone stay late to finish the car for us in time, so we wouldn’t have to make a return trip a few days later. What a great place– would definitely recommend. They are honest, fair and nice to the customer. That can be hard to find these days. Thanks Hartnell!

What a pleasant surprise! The transmission in our 91 Chev PU went out in Sacramento on our way up to Seattle. We had it towed to Hartnell to get it closer to home. Finding a reliable shop is usually a crap shoot, but based on reviews we thought this transmission shop would be our best shot. We were extremely impressed with everyone at the shop. They had a new transmission in stock and got it in the truck and ready to go the next day… almost…seems we had an electrical problem that caused it to malfunction. So instead of sending us on our way just to break down by Oregon, they put the crew on it to get it fixed correctly. And all for the original quoted, and very reasonable, price! They really went all out to get us back on the road. I can’t say enough about this shop. The truck ran great. It is home in Seattle running smoothly!

Great job. The transmission is super and now we can get a travel trailer. Even the mechanics have good customer service to match the owners good customer service. So nice to relax knowing all is well.
