Popeyes

Not friendly… Prices are really high compared to other Popeye’s. For some reason it is not as flavorful, or as hot and spicy, as other Popeye’s restaurants. I don’t know how that can be but, oh well. It’s the last Popeye’s before Oregon and the first Popeye’s out of Oregon. No Popeye’s in Medford, Roseburg or Eugene. This place really deserves a MINUS rating.

Good chicken and shrimp. The mashed Potatoes are unbelievable. If they can only work on their speed and friendliness.

It’s edible, i ate it, it’s ok… dearly overpriced… I rather stop at Winco and get 3x the chicken for less price

Ordered a 10 piece combo and they gave us 5 wings and 5 breast. A few thighs and drumsticks would have been nice.

I was driving from Medford, OR to Fresno, CA. I had breakfast in Medford and Redding is about 3 hours away. Good place for a lunch stop and I wanted Popeye’s chicken.
The spicy chicken is not as spicy as I am used to, but it was still tasty. I enjoyed the biscuits and redbeans and rice, but the onion rings were not very good at all.
My biggest complaint was how long it took to get the food. It was piping hot when we got it, though, so it took longer to eat since we had to let it cool down… oh well, better that than cold food.

Every time I come here, it takes forever to get my food. Whether it’s a line out the door, or no one to be found, I can never get in and out of here in a hurry. So yes, their service is horrible — and that’s being generous.
I came here once, and had to explain, and re-​explain, and explain again my order to the lady working. And when it finally arrived 10 minutes later — you guessed it – it had been fouled up. By comparison — my last trip to the Popeye’s in Vacaville, CA – same exact order was delivered almost instantly. And to boot, the lady in Vacaville clearly didn’t speak much English. The lady in Redding? English speaker. Yet somehow, we had a failure to communicate!
But it’s Popeye’s, so you know the wait and all the other nonsensical issues are worth it. You’ll sit impatiently, wondering why the heck am I in Redding to begin with. But once you savor that wonderful Popeye’s fried chicken, all is better.

Hate going to a truck stop but love Popeye’s chicken, mashed potatoes and their biscuits (if fresh). Sometimes the wait is long even though you could be the only one waiting in line but it’s worth the wait.
