Sunsational Tanning and Professional Airbrush Tanning

Very good prices on their memberships and the owner is very kind. I did the month of unlimited tanning and loved every time I went in there. The beds are always clean. I’d recommend this place to every one (:

I went to get a spray tan bcuz I wanted someone to spray me as opposed to a spray booth. I made the appt & went in. I introduced myself & this woman (Melissa) starts cutting up a paper bag… Now I’m confused. She hands me the cut up paper bag, now in 2 squares to «stand on» in the spray booth. She still has not introduced herself or told me what’s going on! She leads me to a room where the floor is filthy, slimy with tan product, she states that she didn’t have time to clean up from YESTERDAY. OMG! The overall salon could of used a good cleaning ! I wanted to run but I needed a spray tan for vacation the next day. The process was fine, color dark but that’s what I wanted. I dry off w/​some hose thing that blows warm air. I come out & Melissa finally introduces herself & tells me to moisturize when I get home… Ok I can do that… she says it should last 5 – 7 days. I leave & later that evening I put on lotion & the «tan is coming off! Damn! I stop & try to spread the stuff around & smooth it out. No luck! Leave on vacation & the tan was gone in 3 days… so I am 1& done! Find another place ladies!

If I could give 6 stars I would!
Hands down the best tanning salon in this town! Sure; you can go to a «nicer» place (s), but you are gonna be paying twice as much because you’re paying for all the «niceties» which at the end of the day doesn’t matter. The tan does. And, unlike all the expensive places which don’t change their bulbs at the ‘normal’ intervals, Melissa changes her bulbs 6mo. before they are due for a change. That is great business.
What you get with Melissa at Sunsational Tanning is absolutely superb customer service and just an awesome tan. You really are doing yourself a dis-​service if you don’t [at least] give Sunsational Tanning a try!

I have to say that this place is my favorite. I have a 4 year old son that I am now able to take with me while I tan. No other place in town offers this. The beds are great & the owner Melissa is absolutely amazing. She knows you by name, plays with the kids, & she is a total sweetheart. You can’t beat their prices, nor their atmosphere!

Previous response from Elyse is true except the fact that they do offer sunless tanning. There are nicer/​newer places in town however, you won’t find one that has the professional and accommodating service that you get from the owner Melissa at any other salon. She knows you by name and makes you feel very welcome upon each visit. Kudos girl… and I wish you great success in your new business venture.

So I started tanning at this place because a friend recommended it. There are nicer tanning salons in Redding, but this one definitely has the best prices. They offer unlimited tanning for $ 100 a year. You cannot beat that at any other salon in the area. They do not have sunless tanning but they offer lay down and stand up beds. They also recently changed owners and now have some clothing, purses and other items for sale. And will also be getting some nail technicians in soon!
