Tammy’s Nails

I love this place! They don’t charge you different each time! Nikki is super fast on nails. I do recommend appts I won’t go back without one because clearly I’m not the only one that see’s quality and good prices at salon.

I have a few positive and a few negatives to comment. First off, I am an esthetician myself & know what a salon should look like so maybe I key in on cleanliness by habit, but this place could definitely use a good cleaning. Their bathroom was clean and I had to take a peek at their waxing station in their waxing room and from a quick glance it didn’t look disgusting so that’s a plus. But their stations, the floors and the filth behind the pedi chairs could be addressed. Other then that, Nikki did a great job on my gel mani! My mom really enjoyed her pedi, she said they massaged well and was very detailed on her gel toes. They seem to have a great attention to detail and are very friendly but my mom both agreed we would prefer one person for our entire service-​rather then a few of them jumping on and off of the clients. I will request Nikki from start to finish next time.

I absolutely LOVE coming here for my spa pedicures! Incredible rates, great customer service, the guys give great feet/​leg massages and the ladies do beautiful nail art!

I absolutely love this place. Every time I go in there they always try to get me in a seat fairly soon and start working on my nails. I’ve never been upset with their work. My favorite place in redding by far

I have been going here for a few years and it has really gone downhill lately. I do not understand why Unilocal has removed the most recent reviews to a «not recommended reviews» that you have to hunt to find… because most of them are negative? What kind of game is this Unilocal?
Anyway I went in Sunday afternoon and no one was waiting so I got right in for my mani/​pedi. The place is no longer clean. The water was ice cold and when the new girl asked me if it was okay I told her no it needed to be warmer. She added more cold water while talking to the man next to her. I gave up and had an uncomfortable cold water pedi. The pedi itself by the man was fine. Nothing spectacular but fine. Now we get to the unsatisfactory part that gave them one star for me. They put me over in a mani table for an hour. yes an hour. While they took in new walk ins and did waxing and pedi’s. I was soaking the polish (gel) off my real nails and finally scraped them all off myself with my nails. Then I stood up and gave the older man sitting in the corner playing on his phone ‘the look’ so he came over and did some nail clean up. He told me to go wash my hands — there was no soap! 15 mins later the gal came over and put my hands in luke warm soaking water and told me just a few more minutes. 15 mins later I stood up to leave in disgust and she suddenly was able to take me to her table for gel polish at which time she thanked me for waiting. I let her know I was not happy and all these people already leaving came in after me. She never said a word to me after that. $ 50 and TWO HOURS for a simple mani/​pedi when no one was in the lobby is absurd. I will no longer return.
I have since found out the original couple opened a new shop up on Lake Blvd and most ladies have followed them up there.
No wonder there was no one in the lobby.

I got a French pedicure with a friend. It turned out great & I really liked their message chairs. Very friendly people too!

I have tried many other places for various different reasons. Tammy’s nails always feels like the place to be. They are very thorough and careful in doing their work. I do enjoy their pedicures from time to time and they are very friendly.

I love this salon. Everyone is very nice and considerate! The best pedicures in town!

The only place I will go to get my nails done. I have been going to Tammy’s nails since Tammy was working there, and still love it with the new staff. I have grown to know all of the staff and they have done all types of nails on me: short, long, rounded, square, stiletto. A lot of times I bring in pictures of nails I find online and they are always open to copying the picture. My nails always last and the price is great for the Redding area.

Friendly people. Not sure about the cleanliness. Not finding any hand soap in the bathroom makes me wonder about sanitation. Toddler naps on the waxing table with shoes on. I need to pay closer attention to see if the instruments are used only once and sanitized.
I’ve been charged two different prices for gel polish.

Best place for a mani/​pedi in redding.
Friendly people. Great service. They will serve us even if we come in 15 minutes before closing.
I won’t go anywhere else in Redding!
