Visiting Angels is a company providing a much needed service to the community. At a price, they help families in need and help those in difficult times in their lives. While this is a good cause and a solid business model, the means in which they operate is severely deficient. If you are looking for a similar company, I suggest you look elsewhere. Their billing practices are poor, at best. They misunderstand the lives of their clients and the challenges facing them. Simple adherence to tasteful communications is severely flawed. It’s unfortunate because they could be so much better but they simply choose not to be.

Since the only other review here is from a former employee, I thought I should give the another perspective. Also a former employee, I was called daily for nonsensical reasons by the case manager, and completely not supported by her or the owner as a caregiver. Also, the agency only pays its caregivers minimum wage, and one RN there only makes $ 10/hr! When I left, I thought my son had given away my two angel’s t-shirts and so didn’t return them to the office, and they threatened to sue me for them, calling me 10 times in two months, coming to my home twice, and texting me endless times. Bottom line is that they are cheap and petty.

I worked for Visiting Angels and it was a great experience. One of my overnight clients had a serious problem at 2am and the manager drove out to the house at 2am to help me resolve the problem. The office staff are very dedicated to helping you do your job well, and they care about the clients.
