I wish I had come on here and read the last review. I too went to this disgusting place and found live bed bugs. I immediately alerted the man at the front desk and requested my money back. I have not and do not believe that I will get my money refunded. I have called to speak to the Manager and even left my phone number for a return call because i want my money back. After finding bed bugs in my room i grabbed my two children and my husband and I left the room within 10 minutes of entering it. And what makes this a black eye for Detroit is that we came in from Texas and was tired after the long drive just to get this type of disgusting service. I am not going to rollover and let this go. Not only did they charge my card for $ 70 which is $ 10 over what we agreeded to pay to rent the room for one night but these a**holes had the nerve to charge me a $ 10 key deposit on top of the $ 70 charge. I am contacting the Health Dept and Channel 4 news in the morning if I don’t get my money today. Im not playing with these people.

OK, we are all adults here so let’s not turn beet red regarding this review. Since no one will actually pay for an overnight stay for a motel in a city they live in or nearby, these «motels» are usually regarded as rendezvous points.
When my husband and I needed to spice up our love life but could only get a sitter for a few hours to the Hilltop is where we would go. They have this special called a «short stay». Three hours for $ 40. Oh come on. What else could you possible need a motel room for? Quiet study sessions?
I told all of my married friends about this «short stay» and I know I personally saved 2 marriages hipping them to this alternative to a typical dinner and movie. It’s not the Hyatt but it has all of the accommodations that you need for you and your spouse. Here’s to this review saving more relationships! Oh yeah, they get an extra star for the special. Of course!
