I’m a shopoholic… I blame Burlington Prices are great on the brands they have. The only thing is, service ain’t as great

Came here a week ago to purchase cheap suitcases for my upcoming vacation. The cashier DILBERT was incredibly rude and even made a rude comment about me to another customer. Advice: Go to TJ Maxx or Marshall’s. They’re both cheaper and are in a WAY better area. Their employees act more professional too. It’s my fault for expecting decent customer service at a place like this. How unprofessional.

OMG, I usually don’t go GaGa over discounted Department stores, satisfied & happy, but not like this! This Burlington rocks! Why? Well if you’ve been to the others, they suck nalga! Seriously, they are disorganized, somewhat congested w/some people continuously making a mess & hogging up the aisles, you’ll hear the norm w/babies & kids crying and running around w/out any supervision(cuz mama’s gotta get her swag on and get hot hot(caliente) looking clothes) and the employee’s just give up trying(in this case, I do side w/them) it’s just extremely frustrating seeing that all the time working there, why should they be constantly picking up when it’s going to get trashed allover. Well, on to the review. The goods: Woman’s clothes are an abundance here, it’s like a truck load delivers on a daily basis, you got selection and lots of decent clearance items(not the usual ugly & stained clothing like the others). Woman shoes also a ton of them; although I saw more cuter ones in other locations. Men’s section isn’t too bad for clothing, however underwear(wife beater shirts to wear under nice dress shirts), socks, and jeans are kind of desolate here. Dress pants too, but we did find some really cheap ones, that were Haggar brand. Home items are ok too. The coat selection(eh…it’s always just ok), but I’d rather keep on the conquest of trying to find a decent one at the right time, just that they aren’t growing on trees, they are a hot commodity and hard to find whether on sale or not. I’m sure the babies/kid stuff is decent, I don’t really know. Parking is great, it’s usually always open and sometimes kind of empty, even though you go in and there’s people. The shopping center it’s located in is kind of like that of a ghost town, remnants of old vacant businesses, mixed w/thriving businesses, to be honest, if the Burlington, Ross, Tuesday Morning, Dollartree & a few other decent businesses weren’t there, I’d probably stay away; it just looks kind of somewhat bleak, compared to the Citrus Shopping center/area and not to mention those other businesses flourishing off the freeway on Hospitality Lane — the border if not, most likely the dreaded San Bernardino area(it’s not that bad, but don’t go past it away from the freeway towards the mountains, it’s just not a good idea unless your already familiar w/the area(even then I think those people if given a choice would try to go away from). Anyways, this Burlington is pretty good in my book, definitely not Ghetto, one warning: beware on Christmas, it’s a mad house allover any of these department stores(for that matter) anywhere, but I did go there once at night and it was not that crowded and definitely bearable.

If you haven’t been to Burlington before, Eric O. is right, it’s like a Ross or Marshall’s. The clothes are everywhere and it does seem very disorganized but when you are trying to find a deal, you shovel through the racks in desperate search for your size like I do. Sorry Eric, it is I who rummages through the racks to find my size and leave the place looking like a tornado hit it…

Burlington is kinda like Ross to me. It just a bunch of stuff slightly organized and mainly a mess. The disorganization is such a turn off that I usually don’t shop at places like this. However, if one needs to find some semi-well known designer clothes(Kenneth Cole, Calvin Klein, etc.) then you can come here and try to fish through the racks and find something worthwhile. The service is pretty good. We purchased what we wanted and left with no issue. I also ended up having to return something and that was pretty painless.

Kind of off the beaten path from the more popular stores around the area. Good selection. Cheap prices. Well kept. Good variety. Not full of people so less ghetto than most others. Founds some great work out gear without having to hurt the wallet.
