We did a late lunch. We were seated promptly and Beth provided great service. The food was brought out quickly. The best dark chocolate raspberry pie I have ever tasted!

This morning I had a pleasant experience at Coco’s. The young man named Alex who greeted us was very nice and dressed proffessional. He sat us down, answered our questions politely, and carried a conversation with my family and I. Furthermore, the server Diane was wonderful! She was very helpful… food was delicious and we will come back

I drove 25 minutes to get a pie just to arrive an see about 13 empty pie trays, I ask the senior citizen with the glasses, and short hair working at the front register if they had any pies in the back and she said no with the worst attitude ever, she remind me of a elementary cafeteria worker all she needed was a cigarette in her mouth to go with that I don’t give shit look in her face. Now I don’t think is much trouble to take care of a customer, and have an attitude. Second if the main entrance looks like crap customers will just walk away, fill your pie trays with something rather than just wasting electricity.

Good food, good service, just what we needed to go from a poor day to a grand evening. Friendly staff and decent prices. I hope to stop by there again in my travels.

Good waitress, but that’s where the good stops. Almost every food item on everyone’s plate was overcooked. The egg on the omelet was inedible and dry as cardboard. The bread was burnt. The chicken in the asian salad was dry, inedible and WAY overdressed. Had the hearty vegetable soup and the only vegetable it had was corn. In fairness the waitress did give us a free unripe peach pie to make up for the poor food quality. My daughter left her phone in the booth, we came back 10 minutes later supposedly the phone vanished no one could find it. When I started asking for general managers and corporate phone numbers, the phone miraculously showed up. Worst experience ever, banned for life!

Went here for lunch and food was«Okay», Service was«Okay» Ambience was«Okay» and had an overall«Okay» experience. On the flip side, my wife and I bought a Banana Cream pie when we left and it was delicious. Three stars only due to excessive«Okayness». Maybe I just miss Bob’s Big Boy that used to occupy this building once upon a time, lol.

This is a very standard family restaurant which specializes in pies. They also have a full menu of regular food if you’re hungry. The prices were very reasonable, though slightly higher than I had expected. I don’t have much to compare to as this is not the style of restaurant I typically visit, but if I remember correctly, I felt that this place is a little nicer than places like Perkins or Denny’s. I had the pecan pie and I was happy with it. I have experienced many mediocre pecan pies and this was maybe a 7/10, it was satisfying and tasty enough, but it is a far cry from the best pie I’ve ever had. Overall, this was a fun and inexpensive date with my wife and I would come back.

Worst service ever! Waited 15 minutes just for the server to come to the table and take our drink order, when we told her we were waiting for her she said well I was talking to this lady about her credit card, this is not the credit bureau you are here to serve! get to it! Laurie is the worst server I have ever come in contact with!

As a restaurant chain, the food is, of course, mediocre, but predictably so. The service, on the other hand, is exceptional, exceptionally poor, and also predictable. Laurie spends most of her time larking about. For her it’s just one long round of whoopee. She smiles; she prances; she schmoozes; she has a lot of fun. She spews saprogenous ooze. She actually spends more time, a lot more time, entertaining her peers than her valued clients. She certainly doesn’t spend much time«serving» them. She doesn’t entertain them, either. She doesn’t even try to hide the fact that she has a fun job and YOU are paying for her«floor show.» Denise, on the other hand, at least looks like she’s working. I mean, this woman looks serious. When I ordered a piece of pie the other day, she got to work. After waiting 15 minutes for my piece of pie, I decided that my request was causing her much pain, so I left.

Went yesterday morning and the waitress was super nice and had to make a review since my child has a lot of dairy allergies and they did an amazing plate for my son with out any butter and acomadated his needs! That’s plus! In my opinion cocos has more authentic breakfast that Denny’s!

the food was good, service was excellent my main concern is that the manager allowed an individual to bring their«non service» dog into the restaurant . Asked the manager about this and he said there isn’t a law against it, had to check this out for my self and found that there is a law against it. The law requires the restaurant to have a patio for patron and dog to eat on, also must have separate door for them to use. I think Coco’s corporate needs to educate their managers a little better

Such a disappointing visit to Coco’s and I suspect this is a conpany wide situation, not just specific to the Redlands location. Upon paying my my check, I was asked if I would like to donate a pie to the homeless shelter. I asked if there was a discounted pie for this program, thinking Coco’s discount would be their portion in the lovely donation. The host deferred to the gentleman standing behind the pie case whom said no discount. So then I said well how many pies is Coco’s giving, thinking they were perhaps matching pie for pie. He said«We are giving through our guests». I literally broke out in laughter. I couldn’t believe he could say that with a straight face! So I said«you’re not giving 100 pies, five pies, nothing??! Not one?!» Shame on you coco’s. What a wonderful opportunity you have to join in the spirit of giving. Instead, you are simply increasing your revenue in the name of the generous hearts of your guests. Finally, I walked back to my table to leave the tip for my server and there was the same gentleman from before standing gayley sharing my question and his response, laughing about it, not only within ear shot of me but certainly within earshot of many guests enjoying their lunches. I called and spoke to this gentleman and come to find out, his name is Steven and he describes himself as the general manager. He did ask if there was something wrkng but he chose to speak over me, rather than hear my concerns. Also-guess there’s no point in mentioning the slow service the giant sign on the window that says«Kids eat free all day every day with purchase of adult entry» and some how my meal, of course, didn’t count as the right type of entry so I was charged for the kids meal…

Globs of goopy dressing on Asian chicken salad. Largely inedible. Tomato bisque was served lukewarm. They offered unwanted free slice of pie as compensation. We declined. Cod was ok. Edited to add: went there for breakfast in Oct. 2015. Really good then. My takeaway is to be cautious at dinner, but that they do a fine job with breakfast.

Easy to find off of Colton/Tennessee… One thing that Coco’s has that does impress me is their gluten free pancakes that taste very, very good. Standard breakfast fare, most of the servers are very friendly and nice. Not a bad place to have a breakfast/brunch. The place can be get busy on weekends so to try to plan ahead. Overall, felt this place is fine and does a satisfactory job in providing a decent breakfast/lunch.

Alas, we were on the road and still pieless late at night with a dessert party scheduled the next night for Christmas Eve. Diane smartly thought of calling this Coco’s to reserve two pies for a quick pick up at the end of our journey just before arriving home in Redlands. And, she was able to secure a Lemon Meringue Pie to be held for us 1 hour. After picking up a Pecan Pie at Coco’s on Hospitality Lane in San Bernardino, I made it to the register at the Redlands Coco’s 63 minutes after Diane placed the order, and a Lemon Meringue Pie was still waiting for us. It was lovely when intact. And, though the lofty pie lost some beauty when being severed into individual slices the next night, it was very lemony and tasted great – perhaps the best Lemon Meringue Pie I and others who raved about it had ever experienced. Hooray for Coco’s, baker of fine pies, and an establishment that repeatedly comes through at holiday crunch time!

Greetings from Hamburg/Germany
