Amazing customer service and very personable! I will be back! I broke my glasses and contacts are going to be here for a couple days so I was stuck without my eyes. Went to this place and Michael fixed my glasses in 20 mins and even charged me less than quoted as the issue was different that what I thought.

Came in with my friend to get our glasses repaired. My glasses was just a bent on the frame and Michael took them back and fixed it in a minute no kidding a minute, he didn’t even charged me. You really don’t see that type of characteristic in people anymore. Will continue to come back to get anything form jewelry or glasses repaired here. I recommend this place to anyone ¹⁰⁄₁₀.

My 19-​month old daughter broke my husbands glasses on Saturday and we were thinking we were going to have to buy a new pair. Michael saved us and was able to fix my husbands glasses on a busy afternoon he got them fixed in an hour they were ready for pick up and are stronger then ever! He was very friendly and offered ways to keep them from breaking again.

I was referred by the man who sold me my glasses because he is one of the few people in the area that can repair titanium glasses, I was given absolutely wonderful service in a very timely manner even when more was asked for.

Used to be my go to jeweler would only use him, not anymore I won’t be back customer service is not his thing went in and was treated terribly he was argumentative and acting as if I was bothering him! I won’t be returning!

Michael and his wife Gail provide what i consider to be unparalleled service in the jewelry industry. In a day of modern conglomerates and huge one stop shops, their family owned store, with the friendly attitude and attention to detail that I receive every visit is what keeps me coming back. My wife and I have purchased our wedding bands with them and chose to do a custom job and Michael and Gail helped us every step of the way; helping us choose the stones to finalizing the design to casting the final moulds. We could not be happier with the results and we love the bands even more a year later. Seriously, do yourself a favor, skip the «mall outlets» and go to these gifted people. You will get a amazing product with tremendous personal service not found anywhere else. You’re spouse will love the results and you will be happy you took the time to get to know them.

I made no appointment and just walked into the shop and mr. Dickey was very pleasant and welcoming to me. He explained how he was going to fix my glasses in one hours time. I came back in an hour and my glasses that were previously un wearable were expertly fixed at an affordable cost. I would come back here anytime to get glasses or jewelry fixed.

I took my Grandmothers diamond & the ring my fiancé bought me to see what he would charge to replace the center stone. He told me the structure of my fiancés ring wouldn’t hold my grandmothers stone because the band wasn’t thick enough underneath. I then asked if there was anyway to make it thicker, he then stated he refused to place my grandmothers diamond in my fiancés «cheap Chinese craftsmanship»!! Wow! Extremely rude! I will never go back there again!!!

I have relied on Michael Dickey Designs more than once in the past couple of years to repair my Oakley frames, quality and service has been my experience. Today I needed an emergency frame repair on my primary glasses; I didn’t have a back up pair. Michael understood my dilemma and made the needed repair in 20 minutes, just before closing! I have had a superior experience of EXCELLENT customer service and quality in workmanship. Businesses like this is what is great about living in Redlands.

Michael has repaired the earpieces on eyeglasses for me and replaced watch batteries, so I can’t comment, yet, on his jewelry repair or design. But he strikes me as passionate about his work. He prides himself on craftsmanship and he keeps his equipment up to date. I plan to take some jewelry in for repairs and can update this review at that time. So far, I find him and his wife knowledgeable and personable.
They also repair cell phones. I like the fact that they are down to earth, as a number of personnel at other jewelry shops in Redlands seem quite chilly or snooty — as if they are doing you a favor to talk with you.
