Went to this place in the afternoon, nearly every single item was sold out. When I finally found a macaroon that was available and sounded good to me, it was overpriced and it tasted awful! The tea was bland also. I came after the great reviews, but this place is not my cup of tea. My husband and I have not and will not be back.

The macarons are perfect for any taste some are really sweet while Others dance on the more subtle taste sure to go early as they tend to sell out daily especially Around the holidays like Valentine’s Day. The customer service is great.

A bit pricey but very much worth it. Recently went for the first time and bought my brother, his wife, and kids a box of macaroons(their first time trying macaroons at all) & they absolutely loved them! Definitely will be back soon to kill my macaron craving & to try their green tea float! Let’s just hope they have the $ 7 giant one when I go!

The perfect place to take a friend and spoil yourselves with deliciousness! It’s an adorable little spot full of the best macaroons I have ever had! My sister and I got a huge box recently for a friend who was going in for surgery… Made her day in a big way! I am definitely going to be bringing more boxes to more people!

I have been picking up desserts from Sucree since they opened their doors years ago. They used to serve tea, salads, and sandwiches. Now their main focus is on macarons, cake pops, small cakes, and ice cream macarons. They have a wide variety of flavors, and even had a themed Breaking Bad macaron(aptly named Heisenberg). I say skip the rest, and purchase the ice cream macaron. It’s refreshing and light on a hot summer day.

Some of the best macarons I’ve had. Over the summer I came here almost every other day for macarons since it was located 5 – 10 minutes from my fiancé’s parents house(dangerous for the wallet and the tummy). I guess they were that addicting! They have a huge variety of macaron flavors here to choose from and they change daily. You can check out what flavors they have each day by going to their Facebook page. They also sell cake pops and macaron sandwiches here. The prices here are a little pricy, but lower than what you’d pay at some of the macaron shops in LA. They charge extra if you want your macarons in a box vs. in a bag, so I always get mine in a bag. The texture and build of these macarons are pretty perfect. The consistency is just right, not to airy or doughy. I tend to prefer the fruit flavored macarons here and also the macarons that have the lighter sort of almost buttercream like filling over the thicker/darker looking filling. You can kind of tell by just looking at the filling which is which. Some of my favs have been the strawberry balsamic, anything with passionfruit, pistachio rose, strawberry mango, spumoni, red velvet, coconut crème, and raspberry earl grey. Strawberry lavender is meh. I prefer the macarons here over the cake pops and their cupcakes. The cupcake was a little too sweet for me and the passionfruit cake pop was also on the sweet side and more dense. I prefer lighter tasting desserts. I think they are still pretty good though if you have a preference for more sweet/dense desserts and the cake pops are better than most I’ve had. The macaron sandwiches are pretty good here. The one I had came with two types of filling with different texture. The only thing I recommend is that they have a custom tip option on their IPAD when you pay because I’m sure it deters people from tipping since the products are already kind of pricy. Not everyone wants to tip at a certain percentage. I’ll definitely be back to Sucree when I’m back in town. I consider these macarons better than the ones I’ve tried in LA. My favorite ones so far.

Sucree is such a cute little gem in the middle of the desert. There’s nothing else like it within a 50 mile radius! They are most known for their unique macarons. And when I say unique, I’m talking blood orange macarons, piña colada, chocolate & banana, champagne, and much much more! The also add drizzles and spray sugar paint to make the presentation of their macarons even more special. They also have seasonal macarons. During Halloween they have spooky looking ones and during Christmas they have festive holiday looking ones. Yes, their creations are pricier than other places but I believe the extra special attention to detail in their macarons warrants the higher prices. They also have macaron ice cream sandwiches and cake pops. I loved their strawberry cheesecake cake pop for ~$ 3.

Sucree! This little patisserie in Redlands offers many treats such as cakes, cake pops, cheesecake pops, and macaroons. Or is it macaron? Alright, so just what the hey-hey is the difference between a macaron and a macaroon? Well, a macaron(according to Wikipedia) is a French sweet meringue-based confection made with egg white, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond powder or ground almond, and food colouring. The macaron is commonly filled with ganache, buttercream or jam filling sandwiched between two biscuits(cookies). The English translation for the word actually is macaroon, so both are considered acceptable spellings although macaroon can also be referred to the moist and dense coconut macaroon which is made w/sugar, egg whites, and dried coconut and is sometimes dipped in chocolate. But enough of all that gobbledygook… The macaro(o)ns are definitely the thing to get here. They have a bunch of flavors to choose from and their lineup changes daily. Now, I’m not very big into macaro(o)ns but I can honestly say I’m a fan of the ones served here. My only complaint w/them is the price: $ 2 for one? Again, I’m not familiar w/the macaro(o)n scene so I don’t know if this is an average price point or not but it seems a little steep to me. I have also tried one of their cheesecake pops because the concept intrigued me so. While it was decent I found it to be too sweet and more cake like rather than cheesecake. I’ve heard their cake pops are good though so I’ll have to try one of those on a future visit. Another item that caught my attention was their advertised green tea float which was green tea w/some sorbet added in. They had several sorbet flavors to choose from and I opted for guava. Yeah, I won’t get this again; the whole concept was different in my head than what I actually received and as a whole it just didn’t come together for me… and at $ 6 even? No thank you; not worth it in my opinion. The shop is located in the Stater Bros shopping center off of Alabama and Barton(down by the side w/Subway and Leslie’s Pool Supplies). The shop itself is on the smaller side and has this kinda Alice in Wonderland theme about it. I have read some reviews citing rude service, but I personally have not experienced this– so far my every visit has been positive and the lady behind the counter was helpful in assisting me and answering my questions. Sucree is a lovely addition to Redlands and I plan on trying their cake pops in the future, but I whole heartedly recommend their macaro(o)ns as that seems to be what they do best.
