The Threading Zone

I usually come in for eyebrows and lip, but today my cheeks are inflamed from being threaded when it wasn’t what I had asked for. I also have a sore on my upper lip from threading being done too hard. It’s been nearly 12 hours and the inflammation has not gone down. Disappointed and won’t be coming back again.

The $ 5 sign should be taken down, I was charged $ 8. The only friendly person was the lady at the counter (I didnt catch her name). The lady who did my eyebrows was a bit awkward. I wasn’t asked what service I wanted, how I wanted them, if I wanted any other service done etc it’s like did I offend you in some way? The only time she spoke was when she needed me to hold my brows up. She did fair job, however I was not offered a rewards card. So it’s a no for me, I didn’t feel very welcomed lol

I found this place through Unilocal and hoped it would be as good as the threading salon I usually go to in LA and I think it was better!
I did my eyebrows and lip after taking SO long to get around to doing them (so I kind of felt bad for the lady who did it for me for coming in with such bushy eyebrows hehe). She was very nice and her method didn’t hurt at all! I was shocked since the place I usually go to makes me hurt for at least half a day afterwards (so I thought it was normal).
Anyway, I told her that I just wanted her to clean them up and leave them thick-​looking since another lady I went to in LA had gone overboard once and left them SO thin. And she did exactly what I said.
She offered aloe gel afterwards and I took it since I forgot to bring my own ointment (just in case I got red or broke out). I liked how my eyebrows came out and most importantly that it didn’t hurt. I even got a couple of compliments later on.
I think I will come here from now on and might as well fill up my punch card for the free threading. ;)
Ps. I also wanted a wax but the lady who did waxing wasn’t there and was told I need to make an appt at least one day in advance.

I’m happy with the service (eyebrows only as of this review). It cost $ 8 for threading which I have found to be about the going rate for this. There are two times you can get a free threading done via their punch card, 1) on your bday 2) when your on your 7^th visit

I moved to Redlands in January and was afraid of trying a new threading place. I came here for the first time that month and was very satisfied with the service the Threading Zone provided. Every worker who has helped me has gone above and beyond to make sure I left happily. Never once did I leave disappointed. They are now my new favorite spot to get threaded. I never go anywhere else!

Make sure you ask for Sabina. I went there and she wasn’t working that day so her sister I can’t recall her name (she has glasses) did them for me. Man do I regret it!!! She messed them up so bad. She left the right one so thin and the right one ok but now i have to fill them in no matter what ! I can’t have them natural because they look so uneven! Sabina actually knows what she’s doing her sister on the other hand has no idea how to thread!

If I could leave zero stars I absolutely would.
I have thick larger brows thanks to my Armenian/​Italian back ground and absolutely love my larger brows, however on occasion they can get a bit unruly. After checking Unilocal and seeing all the positive reviews I was cautious about coming to a new place but thought that with such rave reviews there would not be a problem. WRONG. After seating me I kindly articulated to the lady working today (8÷7÷2015) that I love larger, more dramatic brows and did not want my eyebrow tails messed with. (I have had a few to many over zealous estheticians over pluck and have been trying diligently for the last few months to counter act that). I felt confident that I had absolutely without a doubt conveyed my wishes and the woman got started. It was a little strange to me that she didn’t brush nor trim my brows before getting started as with other studios I have been to, but let her continue. After finishing up one brow she showed me her work. I was floored. My right brow was quite a bit thinner than when we started and it had a distinctly tadpole like shape. AKA the tail and little baby hairs that were FINALLY growing in that I had EXPRESSLY stated I WANTED TO KEEP were gone. I told her this and instead of apologizing she said that (and I quote) «Well most people who come in here don’t want the hairs on the tails). I’m sorry but I’m the paying costumer and had articulated quite a few times that I wanted the tails because my eyebrow ends were too short! Seriously?! Because I was hoping to keep them somewhat even, I let her continue and after completely the second brow, and having to ask her AGAIN to keep my brow tail on the opposite side, she finished. They look awful. My left side is significantly larger than my right and the right side is too short and too thin. I’m sorry but what. the. hell.

I never tried threading and this was my first time. I found the place on Unilocal and it got great reviews… so decided to come here.
My experience was a great one. I can’t remember the girl’s name who threaded my eyebrows, unfortunately she did not introduce herself. Then again, there were 3 other customers in there, and only one person working. She didn’t ask me what kind of eyebrows I wanted, but to be honest, I had no idea what I wanted either. I had been growing my eyebrows out for 3 weeks… they were in need of some shaping and cleaning up! I sat there and she told me what to do (how to hold my eyelids and above my eye, etc.) and honestly, the eyebrow threading didn’t hurt one bit! I was surprised! I loved the outcome and will be back! The rewards card is also an incentive. And it was just $ 8 bucks for eyebrow threading.

I was hesitant the moment I walked in because of the cholas I saw walking out. But the place was spotless, service was quick, and prices were cheap. No small talk either, which I love. I was in and out within 5 minutes.

The perfect place to go for threading! I was hesitant to go out of my waxing comfort zone but I’m glad I came here! The lady Sabrina did exactly what I asked and came out great! And only $ 8.

I’ve never done threading before so thought I’d give it a try. I found Sabina’s store on Unilocal,and the reviews were what brought me here. For $ 12, you can get your brow and lip done. Very inexpensive, it was a little painful since I didn’t know what to expect. The end results were perfect! The shape was very natural and full which I love. You also get a punch card which on your 7^th visit is free. I will definitely be back!

This is a very clean and comfortable place to come get your eyebrows threaded. I’ve gone here twice and did not have to wait at all. They make sure you’re comfortable and will ask how you’re doing along the way.

I bring my daughter here for her eyebrows and they only charge $ 6 since she is a student at Citrus Valley. Sabrina is so sweet and never takes off too much. Once we wanted to trim her eyebrows and Sabrina advised against it because it did not work well with her eyebrow hair. I respect her opinion.

Sabina assisted me with great customer service. Never had my eyebrows threaded til today n she was awesome even convinced me to do my lip. I love it definitely will be back n price is great!

This place is nice, clean and new. The prices are great. Sabrina the owner did my eyebrows and lip and she is super fast and efficient. I will be back!

I have heard that waxing removes the collagen from the eye… so I decided to switch to threading. About that time… this spot opened and I had to try. I pay 8 dollars for my threading and never have to wait. I also love the rewards card! You have it stamped each time you come in. There is one woman who does all the threading and she is very polite and professional. She always uses hand sanitizer. She will also ask you if you would like aloe vera after she finishes. I have thick eyebrows and I like them. She always cleans them up nicely and they look great!

Not completely satisfied but I’m not completely pissed either! Just wish my eyebrows were more defined. But she did exactly what I asked.

Great, friendly, and fast. Tell them what you want and they are very understanding. The place has excellent customer service.

I actually wanted to get my nails done, but the salon was fully booked and when I saw this place next door I thought «might as well». I actually didn’t catch the young lady’s name but she was very sweet/​polite and left my eyebrows looking the best they ever have. They also have a stamp card where the sixth eyebrow threading is free. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Way better than my salon back home in LA (plus it’s only ~$ 5)!
