I rarely give 1 star reviews to establishments as I try to always put myself in their shoes. But this experience was not a good one and I believe it really warrant a 1 star. Came in after work for a drink with a couple of co workers. It was around opening time 3 pm on a Friday, there were maybe one or two other people there. We ordered a round of drinks and it took a little while but not bad maybe 20 min for a round of drinks. As we say and enjoyed the delicious drinks the place was filling up slightly but not too much. The drinks are delicious which is what the one star is for. An hour or so later we decided to order another round of drinks. The place was maybe half full at this time so we knew it may take about another 20 min before our drinks arrive. After an hour an 10 min the drinks finally came. That is only after we told them we need to leave since we have been waiting for an hour. No apology and no explanation. It took over an hour to make 3 drinks. What was a little hurtful was that every other patron was being tended to but us. So most like I will not go back nor recommend this joint as Redlands has other pubs where better service can be received.

The food was delicious, service was delightful(my boyfriend and I weren’t hovered over nor did we want for anything) and the cocktails tasted delicious– actually packed a kick. We had a great time there and look forward to returning.

My wife and I came here about a month ago for happy hour. Everyone was very attentive and recommended some great appetizers. The truffle tots are amazing as well as everything else we ordered! Drinks were awesome as well. We loved to laid back vibe and is a good place to come with a small group and have a few drinks and some food. Definitely coming back again soon.

Met a friend here and loved it. I grew up in Redlands, moved away and back visiting and this was the perfect atmosphere to talk, have a drink and enjoy dinner. We shared the Tater Tots, Bacon wrapped dates and then each had a garden salad. The strawberry basil salad dressing was different and great. I tried the Redlands Mule which I highly recommend. I don’t like beer but the ginger beer and the orange liqueur was delicious. The ambiance was perfect and not too loud for a Saturday night and not a bar but upscale and just perfect.

I’ve always loved this place. Fun Fact: The bar and all the tables were handmade by the owners. This adds greatly to the cozy feel of the place. Pros: Delicious food, educated bar staff, yummy drinks(keep’em comin’) … all to enjoy while still not having to break the bank. Cons: From an objective standpoint, the only thing I can think of is the size of the room. If you’re wanting to rent out the venue to throw a party for more than 200+ people, that may be difficult. Then again, the smaller, intimate size of the room is another reason why I love it. For a photo review, visit my site.

WORST. SERVICE. EVER. Only reason why this place gets any stars is because the cocktails are good. We waited FOREVER to be served. We MOVED tables to get the server’s attention. Then we waited FORVER to be asked if we wanted second drinks. THEN we waited FOREVER for our check, which never came. My husband had to go UP to our server to request it. Never going back.

More a fan of their ambience than the actual food, but sometimes that’s what you’re going for. A very chill place, feels rustic and homey. I think its a good place to come with friends, have some drinks and a bite to eat. most importantly, not overpriced. If you’re looking for a quieter setting for a drink or two without paying too much, this place is for you.

This is a great place to get a drink after work with friends or a special someone. Great food, amazing drinks, tots that you just can’t stop eating. It’s also not so loud you can’t hear each other! Which is refreshing. Bartender really knows his stuff and Paula is just great. Love this place! Check it out!

Great place, great atmosphere for drinks! Good food, appetizers were on the small side for the price but they were delicious! I tried bacon wrapped dates and the French Martini was on point!

Hire more staff! Could have done with better service — the bartender was clearly overwhelmed. I walked in with a hello which he didn’t even return with a smile. Simply a «where do you want to sit?» Drinks were fine, the lady who I think owns the place was way more personal, but the place was pretty full and there was only one bartender. I’m sure he’s nice but he seemed too stressed for me to really tell. Can kill the vibe Drinks were fine, about $ 10, nothing too special. Fine joint for Redlands

Usually if I’m gonna drink, I’m gonna get drunk and crunk but sometimes I don’t want to act a total fool. That’s where wine comes in. And if you drink enough of it the same results may still occur, but with wine in hand it is more socially acceptable. Just keep that pinky up and stay classy, Redlands. I was on the lookout for a place to take one of my closest friends to have some drinks and catch up on life. Redlands has a few choices when it comes to libations which I’m familiar with but I was trying to find something a little more intimate and less smelling of urine. Enter, Time in a Bottle… and enter it we did and were immediately greeted by the super sweet owners. The bar is dimly lit, and has great ambiance for a business meeting, date, or to hang out with friends. It’s not the place to get sloshed and roll around on the floor. That is reserved for the Flamingo aka Dirty Bird next door. Trust me, I know. There are a few small quaint tables but also some plush black couches. It’s like getting buzzed at home! I kid. Well, kinda. I ordered a glass of pinot grigio and my friend had sparkling wine, both of which were fantastic. I’m not a wine connoisseur, I just know what tastes good and in my professional opinion it was all kinds of on fleek. We also ordered the garlic edamame which came out warm and looking full of garlic yuminess but was also glistening with a sheen of oil. We tried a few and exchanged glances. We both agreed that it was a little heavy handed on the oil and salt and wasn’t our favorite app. After a few more glasses of wine, my friend ordered another round of edamame. Why… I have no idea. After the wine and in depth conversation, I was down for indulging in more salty oily soybeans even though I had my eyes on some heavenly saffron tater tots. And you know, I didn’t even mind the salt or oil. Funny how that happens after a few rounds. The owners were very attentive and friendly and didn’t mind our prolonged stay. It’s a great spot to hit up their happy hour for their selection of tasty appetizers and creative drinks. This place is very special to the owners who lost their son and named it after him. Time is a treasured and precious thing that you can never get back once it’s spent and there are never any guarantees of more time in the future. It made me reflect on my friendships with others and how much I truly value their time they give me… it really is a gift that cannot be bought. I won’t forget the time I shared here with my friend, along with the conversation, the laughs, smiles, and even tears. #hotmess. Them dranks were strong, daniel san. I’ll be back, tots.

It’s a nice wine/cocktail bar in Redlands. More of a grown up place than some of the bars over closer to State Street. We were in on a Sat evening around 7pm & there were only 3 other patrons. Not sure if this is the norm. We tried the barrel aged Manhattan & Old Fashioned($ 10 each). And the tater tots($ 7). We really liked the drinks & they were larger than the norm. The tater tots were good, not great. The cocktail menu & wine list were good & varied. The cocktail prices are a nice surprise, most drinks ranged from $ 8 – 10. They have a lot of food options, not just typical bar food. All in all we enjoyed ourselves & will be back.

My girlfriend and I were in the mood for drinks and a cheese platter so we came here because she phoned ahead and confirmed that they serve food, that’s just how she rolls. Me? I just pick a place, show up & hope for the best. We had a good blast. Not only did they have the cheese platter but they also serve hot food that is seemingly not your typical bar food. This is good info for future stopovers. We did not get any wine because we got excited over their«classics» drinks. We are such light drinkers that by the time we are half way through our first martini we were buzzed. Good thing we are both happy drunks though otherwise they will not let us come back and that would suck loads because we really like this wine lounge.

I discovered Time in a Bottle one evening when I was having dinner across the street at Sushi Zutto. From the outside the place looked quite fun and we were in need of drinks that evening! We sat down on couches and were immediately given menus and were told about their daily special. We really really enjoyed our time here. I’ve been back twice since, and highly recommend it to everybody! The food is pretty good from what I’ve had. The tater tots are amazing and any of the flatbreads are good too. I haven’t had any of the other food dishes, but they do look really really good. Drinks are amazing! They have a good wine list(I’m a fan of their moscato!) and they have some really fun cocktails. Overall the ambience is really fun, whether you’re looking for a girls night, happy hour or even a romantic evening, this is a great spot in Redlands to have any of those!
