Baja Fresh Mexican Grill

Expensive and disgusting. The food is served on cheap paper plates. Gave me the cafeteria feel. With so many good choices in the area avoid this hole in the wall. My wife had the taco salad it was about $ 10 and not worth it.

This place is disgusting. I love Baja Fresh. But this location is so dirty & the food is inconsistent. I drive to Renton instead of going to this location.

For what this is — a chain Mexican joint — this is really good. In fact, it beats many of the sit-​down Mexican restaurants I’ve been to.
I typically get one of the veggie burritos smothered in enchilada sauce and cheese. They do this really, really well, and I am never disappointed. The salsa bar has 5 or 6 different kinds of salsa, all really good, and the food usually comes out quick (though they’ve been slow at least once). The atmosphere is very relaxed, and it’s a pretty good place to bring the kids. Fountain drinks have unlimited refills.
If you’re trying to cut down on carbs, you can get a «bowl» instead of a burrito. This isn’t a novel concept, but it’s nice to know they have this option if that’s what you want.

So excited to find a Baja Fresh, haven’t seen one since we moved from CO. Had the new shrimp Baja bowl, it was good. Like the surf & turf bowl better though. My husband ordered a steak burrito but got a chicken burrito, the chicken was amazing. My son had the steak nachos and were wonderful as always. The complimentary chips and salsa bar are a plus. Good kids meals too!

The establishment smells the food is not fresh and I felt sick after eating there. I am from Texas where the Baja Fresh is outstanding. This place needs to pay more attention to cleanliness and quality.

Fast and very friendly service. Great food selection. Plus all the side hot sauces. .this place is great.

Vegetarian dishes were good! lot of salsas to choose from. Overall experience was good.

I decide to try this place again. Ordered my food and got the wrong item. The lady then argued with me but replaced my order. With my replacement order it was completely cold. The cheese wasn’t even melted in the burrito. I know its like fast food but I can wait a couple min for you to make my order right and hot. Not good service.

Sad to say but not a very good restaurant. Though my feelings in the past, I thought were too harsh, I wanted to give another chance for this Baja Fresh.
First down side was the bathroom was very dirty and dark. It looked as though there were several lights out in half of the ladies room. There was water all over the floor and what is worst of all, no soap in the disperser. I had antibacterial in my purse which was my savings grace but what about other people. Yuck!
Second there were dirty tables everywhere. It looked as though no one had cleared tables, refilled salsa bar or emptied the two trash cans in a long time.
Third, they were understaffed and the clerk behind the counter was rushing from one thing to the other just saying I’m sorry to everyone and letting us all know she’s the only one that was there to work the front part of the store.
In my past I’ve worked retail as well as food service and people want a clean table to sit at and a clean trash area to allow them to eat and enjoy the treat if eating out. No one wants to sit in a dirty place because it only gives questions in the minds of customers saying if the store is dirty is my good ok to eat? Stepping away to wipe a table would not anger a customer especially if that is where they are wanting to sit.
One area that was good was that I like their salsas and they have coke zero to drink.
This will be the last visit I have at this establishment.

Great fast food but overall better quality and freshness that the usual suspects. Love the salsa and unlimited chips (unlike Qdoba who nickle and dimes you). We are regulars with our kids there,.

The baja ensalada with chicken is delicious! Fresh and tasty. Plus they give free homemade chips and feature a salsa bar. It would have been better if the service was a little friendlier though. Pricing is reasonable too.

I am actually quite impressed and surprised with thus establishment. Of the many years I have lived in the area this is actually only my second time visiting thus place. In my conscience had always told me they were just another fast food counterfeit Mexican food grill that serves Mexican food at a decent price and fast speed. The prices are reasonable. The service is alright. The girl at the front shorted me on my change but i didn’t even bother to mention it to her since she was so busy. One thing you can count on is the level of freshness of their food. The salsa bar features super fresh variations of different salsas although none of them are even remotely spicy. The shrimp Baja burrito I got was very fresh and flavorful, although lacked in portions. They do skimp a bit in portions so don’t rely on this place to fulfill any major hunger pains. Otherwise its not too bad ;)…ok I’ve about finished digesting my food now. Time to get my lazy butt off this stool and up outta here!

Not what I remember in the worst way. Went in to order and was greeted with some attitude while ordering. Sorry I don’t know the menu by heart and needed 30 seconds to figure out what I wanted. The food wasn’t what I remembered as well. The burrito was cold, salsa was bland, and chips stale. Used to love this place, but now would rather go to Taco Bell. That’s how bad it was.

Just left from there, and won’t be back again. I hadn’t been in a few months, and wanted their fried fish tacos.
The woman who took my order was patient, but never made eye contact, choosing instead to yell at the back. Upon giving me my meal, she immediately took off, and my three attempts to engage her were ignored, which means I did not get my drink that I paid for.
I was in a rush and wasn’t that concerned about the $ 1.79 — I probably didn’t need soda anyway — but upon sitting down to eat I found I was given the grilled fish tacos instead of the fried ones that I ordered.
Next time I’m going the extra two blocks to Q’doba — this place was an utter failure for actually providing what I asked for.

I can’t believe that I’ve never been here before! This place is cheap and delicious. I know this is a fast food joint but I am a sucker for Mexican food. They had a wide variety of salsas to choose from and my burrito was large and tasty. I can’t give a ton of stars because it was not the friendliest staff or the cleanest location but I really enjoyed my experience and look forward to introducing my wife to it. I could move this to a 4 star place depending on my next experience with my family.

Lunch today; chicken Nachos, $ 7.50 +. Ample serving, love the salsa bar.
After a couple bites, I took my plate of Nachos back to the service counter and asked the young man ‘would you please let the cooks know that the chicken is horribly tough and dry? You can have this back”. He said «ok’. LOL! No apology, no assurance that he would pass the word along, etc. Win some/​Lose some. Cured my craving for Baja Fresh food, which can only be as good as the cook makes it. Wouldn’t think one could mess up Nachos; learned something new.

I wish I could give this place a star bump, but at the end of the day it was just average. clean and just average

Cheap, delicious, friendly people, yummy little tacos on the run. I’m especially a fan of their free chips and mouth-​watering salsa bar of assortment.
Not the most ambient place to eat a taco but heck, great for fast food.

Baja Stale Mexican Grill review!
I used to love Baja Fresh, but recently this location has been a constant disappointment. Last few times the burrito I ordered had stale lettuce & salsa. The salsa in salsa bar is also not so fresh and the tomatoes in pica de gallo (mild salsa) looks and tastes weird. May be because I usually go for dinners and they cut their veggies in the morning but…
The staff constantly makes mistakes with the order. Sometimes they add sour cream even with specific request not to do so, sometimes they forget to give chips, once they forgot the side order of guacamole.
All in all, I have given this Baja Fresh quite a few chances but I am not going back.

I love their Tostada salad with grilled shrimp. I order it every time. It’s fresh, very filling and comes with chips. The staff has been friendly there every time but sometimes they can be slow or a wait to get your food. I’ve also ordered their nachos which is huge!
Being near Chipotle they have some competition with selection and prices. However, that’s why I order with grilled shrimp because other places don’t have that. I also like how you can get unlimited salsa, different levels of spiciness. Good place for lunch!
