Every visit was the worst service ever! I can forgive a poor first impression. I can even forgive it if the service is bad a second time under the notion that even with bad odds, someone still wins the lottery. But four times out of four visits where the service was the worst I ever had?! This place is a disaster! You can literally get better service begging for food on a street corner. If you do decide to visit BJ’s, park there and then walk the half mile to Red Robin. No point wasting your time doing otherwise.

Food is okay. Service is TERRIBLE. Just sat for 15 mins without even seeing the server and it was empty inside and we had to wait 5 mins to even be seated when there was no one inside. Worst customer service in Redmond and Bellevue. They need to fix it. It’s been like this since they opened years ago.

Horrible service! They took 50 minutes from the time the first person got their food until the last person at the table was served, totally unacceptable! And I was the last to be served, and my steak was cooked to the same consistency of shoe leather(ordered medium!). Just a bad restaurant with no management with any leadership experience.

Poor service. It took over 30 minutes to get a simple burger. They added tomatoes to my husband’s Caesar salad. Just bad.

Their food is good but the best thing are their beers. Almost the whole menu is about them! The menu explains what would be your right option for each kind of food. You can choose from a huge variety. I tried the ribs(the smaller ones so I could have something else ;)) they were nice as well as the salads and cookies. These cookies are different but nice :) My second time there I tried the brisket sanswich and didn’t like as much as the ribs but the meat is better! The music is great.

Not bad. The grilled ham and cheese was a bit too rich to be edible. The service was a bit slow. I would go again but would order differently.

Server was good this time which is rare. That said this time I ordered blackened chicken salad. Salad came out with no chicken. Server took it back. Returned with what looked like boiled chicken with some grill marks. Not blackened. Server apologized and offered to take it all off the check. All was good until the manager who clearly should not be, told her to come over and educate us on ordering. He said that«blackened chicken» means that it was just regular chicken that when put in the salad dressing«turned black somehow» and that they don’t actually«do» blackened chicken unless its requested specifically when the salad is ordered. The server was dumbfounded as to why this was the case but under instruction from this idiot was forced to tell us this. Let me educate you General Manager about your choice of manager… Hes not really a manager just cause you happened to make him one. Just like magical chicken doesn’t turn itself black by itself. We verified as we were leaving. Menu says salad comes with«blackened chicken»… But now that the manager educated us, next time ill order correctly and say that I want«blackened chicken» on my blackened chicken salad rather than«blackened chicken». Thanks BJs I’ve become that much smarter because of you. I will come in one more time. Use my $ 50 in rewards points I’ve accrued from my former loyalty to buy one more blackened chicken salad and beer and then go somewhere better from here on out. For the rest of you in the area… Lots of better choices around here than this place until they get their act together.

RUN, RUN, RUN!!! So we get their at 7:20 and have a group so we don’t expect to be seated right away, they tell us 20 – 30 minutes. So we get seated at 8:05 based on our receipt. We have kids, so the bring kids menus, but are out of Crayons, so the kids can’t do the games, the waiter says, «we have been out for 2 weeks not sure whats going on». So we order drinks and start looking at the menu.(You are saying that is not too bad, right?), Now, the waiter comes to take our order and we want him to make sure he is aware we want checks split 2 ways, he responds with an OK, no worries we will do it at the end.(Remember this) While ordering food he is touching one of the babies hair and trying to be funny, and it really wasn’t. Don’t touch kids unless you know them or have permission from the parents. Then when bringing the food out salads came for some and not other, then some kids got there food while others had to wait. Now I had ordered a pizza and watch the waiter carry it out, drop it on the FLOOR, pick it up and say«Well it landed on the bottom so you can still eat this», and put it in front of me on table. SERIOUSLY. Then comes back and asks if I want another drink, but doesn’t ask anyone else. The others had to ask the waiter, can I have a refill as well. Also didn’t have enough silverware or plates, he took our order but couldn’t remember what it was I guess. Also, he put the HOT plates in front of babies and leaves them there, just unbelievable. Its 9PM now and we order a dessert and he comes back and says I took $ 10 off for the food I dropped, Mind you its a $ 13 pizza. So he comes to the table with one check, so I ask again if you can please split the checks, and please put the dessert on my bill. He comes back and says here is two bill and looks like I didn’t put on your bill so the other person will pay for it. So did not listen to us, didn’t seem to think our table was important and then billed us incorrectly. We got out of there at 9:20, not enjoying the food, the experience at all. DON’T EATHERE, I have sent an email to headquarters as well, probably won’t get a response.

It was OKayyyyy. I pretty much come to BJ’s for the for the beer and the pizzookie’s. Specifically I prefer the Red Jeremiah and the white chocolate chip. Both amazing. They’re happy hour is decent too, nothing I would go out of my way for however. If you like microbrews this place is a pretty great stop. The crusted chicken parmesan is usually a go-to for lunch. Not too heavy, full of flavor, just don’t let them skimp on the sauce, it makes such a huge difference. I tried the Mediterranean chicken tacos this time as well as it was pretty heavily advertised and other than the quinoa salad it comes with I can’t say I would recommend this dish. It was just bland. If you like decadent dishes full of gluttonous joy and regret immediately after you’ll like their burgers and pizzza’s here. As trump might say«It’s gunna be HUUUUGE» The was service little slow, but we weren’t in a hurry this time so we were unencumbered by this. Real nice guy though.

I work next door so a lot of meetings are held here. The menu is good but the food is just marginal, which is surprising for this area. The wait is very long, The atmosphere is good. I have been here twice, the first time the waitress was horrible(!!), the second time the waitress was fantastic(!!). If you can, go somewhere else. There are so many really terrific restaurants nearby(check out my other reviews), try one of them.

This place has gluten free offerings that are good. My gosh, the cookie dessert is amazing, my whole family tries to steal it from me. Lots of drinks to choose. My kids like the root beer and crème sodas. They have their own beer choices and drinks. It gets busy/loud at happy hour. We have enjoyed the food every time we come here. It’s a chain and has some generic menu offerings, but it’s the gluten free cookie dessert that brings me back. Our service has always been acceptable.

Ordered a steak, medim well. It came medium and had it sent back. Upon return(15 minutes later, my friend was done with his meal) my steak came back, lukewarm and still medium. Not having the time to send it back again, I just ate it. This same thing happened last time but the manager came by and fixed the problem, not this time. My servers name was Edwin, not once did he ask about my steak or give me an eta when it would be back.

Ive attended BJ’s many times, and each time I’d say it’s a regular burger and pizza house. My like for the beers they provide brings me back the food is an after thought. I’d like to see the menu evolve as Red Robin’s menu… I compare BJ to red Robin because it is… just in the same category. Generally i’d say eat but don’t expect great food.

Just … no. Went here last night for a birthday party. We didn’t have a reservation so there was a wait for a table at the bar. No problem, right? Wrong. We grabbed a few tables near each other in the bar area while we waited to be seated, thinking we could order some drinks and appetizers while we waited — which we could have, if the waitress had been available. But during her rare appearances, it was clear that food service in the bar area was going to be limited. We could barely get drinks. Several people gave up waiting for her to take drink orders and just went to the bartender. This would have been okay, but once our group was seated, it was more of the same — a waitress who checked in here and there, but very long gaps in between. The kicker was this: even though we were a large group, and the woman at the head of the table was opening gifts and wearing a birthday crown, our server simply handed out checks when dinners were finished, without even inquiring if we wanted dessert or, you know, birthday cake? The food was okay, nothing special. A flatbread appetizer consisted of a very dry, thin flatbread with some chicken and tomatoes, but no sauce or cheese holding it together. My daughter was at another table where she ordered a deep dish pizza that also apparently had no sauce and was told she should have asked if she wanted sauce on it. Huh? Deep dish, no sauce? The interior of the restaurant was pleasant enough, and the drinks were good, but mostly our experience made me miss the Mexican place that used to be here. We won’t be back.

Hooboy. I’m going to preface this review by saying that I have never had a bad experience at any BJ’s, including this one. Until tonight, which just happens to be my birthday. I chose BJ’s for a family dinner because the service has always been solid, and its menu has something for everyone) The food was up to par, but the service was seriously lacking. After taking our initial orders, our server just up and disappeared. She breezed by once, vowing to return with refills on all of our drinks(which were enpty), and then we didn’t see her again until after our food arrived, and presumably only because we asked the gentleman delivering our food to please find our server so that we may get the refills she had promised. At that point, she returned, full of apologies and telling us that she was really busy, but she had asked for help. She asked if we needed anything else, and we asked for a few things(sweetener for tea, etc) which we never received. She returned one last time to take our dessert orders, and of our party of 8, only my daughter ordered a dessert. When she brought out my birthday pizzookie(tasty btw), she neglected to bring out my daughter’s, and upon review of our bill, she never put the order in at all. Despite tonight, I’m still giving BJ’s 3 stars, because I’m really hoping that the poor service was the exception and not the rule.

Every time we come here I think maybe this time it won’t suck… but I’m always wrong, the service always sucks! Employees are not helpful. Ask someone to refill your iced tea and they will say«uuuuhhhhh, let me find someone». Aren’t you someone? It doesn’t matter though, they won’t find someone. This time I ordered soup and salad. The wedge salad ended up being the end of the lettuce and ½ inedible, and the chili was luke warm. We usually get the pizookie, but we will skip it and save our money. Need a to go box, that’ll be another 10 – 15 minute wait for someone to bring it. Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

So my husband and I tried this again for date night and we were very happy with the food and the service since it was better than the last time we visited. Especially enjoyed the handcrafted sodas the Black Cherry was very good. Our server Samantha really made the evening. She deserved high praise for her smile, courteous service and our glasses were never empty! Due to the overall experience I would recommend trying to BJ’s especially for late night or dinner date it was fun to try new things on their menu and the sodas were delicious!

And here we are after two years after our bad experience and nothing really changed. My friend and I decided to give it a second chance and than again, we were very disappointed. It was a bad decision. At the when we asked about the HH for the host and she said it was still on and asked where we wanted to seat. We decided to seat outside since it was a nice day. It took a while until our waiter came and when we asked for the HH menu, he said: «I am sorry, HH just in at the bar!» and I asked what time was the HH and he just said he had no idea!!! We could not believe it! Anyways we walked to the bar and another waitress came, we ordered two beers and a flat bread pizza and chicken wraps. When the food came what we were speechless! The flat bread was sooooooooo small, burnt and with a few shredded cheese on top. That was it. The chicken wraps was ok, but again, a bird size portion. We understand that that was a HH portion, but seriously? That little? Give me a break!!! So, we decided not to order anything else and on our way out when we used the restroom, which has a huge long one sink for all the faucets wad totally clogged. Maybe one day we go back to eat there only in the restaurant, not in the bar. Now, we now where not to go for a HH.

So I’ve been here a few times(about 5) but I went for lunch today with a co-worker. Not pleased. Our waitress, Samantha, wasn’t friendly. No smile, no water, nothing. We put in our drink orders and they take 10+ minutes to get to us. We’re sitting at a table IN the bar, REALLY? mmm. Then our food came out 30 minutes later. WOW. She passed by our table several times and didn’t even offer an update on our food or anything! I made eye contact with you and you kept walking! You know what the ‘eye’ means Lady! Errrrrr!!! So in all: 1. I was thirsty… for WATER. Do I really have to ask for water though? That’s Waitstaff 101. 2. No update on the food during the whole 30 min wait… even with me giving you ‘the eye’. Ugh. I have standards people. I’m not hard to please. I’m easy! E-A-S-Y! Give me the necessities! Food, water, and space. No water, a 40mins wait TOTAL for food… estoy hambre… well, I was. Anyways, I’m tired of this mess. I’m not coming to this BJ’s again. I’m tired of their mediocre, uncaring attitude. I swear it’s this west coast s*it. And that’s that s*it I DON’T LIKE. :( ugh. *rolls eyes angrily*

A group of us came here for post half-marathon meal. Our organizer called ahead of time and reserved tables. I’ve heard about BJ’s but it’s my first time there. And, I was very happy! I got a salmon entrée and Bloody Mary. Salmon was good and the portion was just right! Bloody Mary was yummy! The best part was that it’s during brunch time and Bloody Mary was half price. The staff here was very friendly and BJ’s was very accommodating for a big group of people with separate checks. Thank you for feeding a group of hungry runners! :-)
