Dr Antonio Chen

Went for general cleaning but doctor was inclined more towards deep cleaning rather than satisfactorily doing general cleaning first. Sent feedback email also & reminded over phone call to reply to my feedback but no luck.
I would not recommend to anybody.

I had the chance to get teeth inspected by Dr. Chen, followed by teeth cleaning a few times. The fresh and not very painful cleaning job showed me how skilled he was. He taught me about periodontitis and showed how to clean teeth at home to withhold the periodontitis. I was quite impressed.
After the first cleaning I was not ready to book next appointment yet, because my schedule was a mess, too many things to catch up. Credit to the front desk, who was incredibly nice, patient enough to answer some questions I had. Even when I decided it was safe to wait until next cleaning time and I’d meet them again to arrange a date, she fully understood my situation so I was welcome next time. Yes, the conversation was just beautifully smooth, unlike the thick skulled coordinator in Maebo DDS, who gets as excessive as she can get to lock visitors into their extra-​charge appointments.
Would be 5 stars if their equipment are upgraded, but professionalism and great staff are what matter to dentistry. I would always choose them over a top-​tech equipped, high skilled dental office but absurd and unacceptable customer service. No doubt on that.

First thing– Dr Chen is amazing!
After 4 days of excruciating pain, 2 ER trips, morphine and Percocet due to a broken, infected wisdom tooth I joyously stumbled into his office.
It was a Sunday afternoon and they should have been closed but they Dr Chen was in the office putting up signs. I saw the open sign and decided to stop in just in case he could help.
I was warmly welcomed and instead of then being turned away as I expected he inquired as to why I was there, even when I apologetically offered to leave since they were closed.
I told him about my tooth pain and let him know up front that I didn’t have insurance. He still didn’t turn me away but immediately took me to a chair so he could take a look to see how he could help. After a quick exam he told me that the tooth needed to be surgically extracted and tailored a plan that I could afford. Within 15 minutes of walking in the door (keep in mind that they were supposed to be closed) he had me numbed up and was getting to work on my tooth.
His level of skill and concern was fantastic. There was no pain from the injection or extraction. Within an hour of walking in the door I was on my way out, blissfully pain-​free and having found a dentist that I will happily recommend to any friend or stranger.
His compassion and professionalism will make me a loyal client and I hope to be seen soon for the rest of my dental care needs.
