There is absolutely no excuse for this park to be in such abysmal shape. Eagle Crest charges home owners a hefty HOA, and the lodge is filled with paying vacationers. The first thing I noticed entering the park with my little ones, was the exposed, dry rotted perimeter beams that were once covered by bark dust(and still should be). It was at least a foot drop on one side into the park due to lack of bark dust, and at least 18 inches on the other. Then I noticed the overgrown weeds all over the play ground(free to grow without bar dust and maintenance). Next I noticed that because there was well over a foot of bark dust(depth) missing from the center, there is a dangerous, over 2 foot drop from the slides, and your child would fall on hardened dirt. Because there is nearly 0 bark dust, the black canvas that generally sits deep under layers of bark dust, is exposed and a tripping hazard. Multiple areas of the playground I found garbage, and old animal waste. This was a quite a disappointing experience.
