Johnny’s Trees

Love these guys! This will be the 3^rd year we’ve gotten Christmas trees from them. The trees are beautiful, and they’ve got a huge assortment of sizes and varieties, as well as evergreen garland and other decorations. They set up right across the street from the Whole Foods parking lot (across Redmond Way) — pretty hard to miss what with all the trees and blow-​up decorations.
Prices vary, but are competitive. Huge tree are are over $ 100, but if you just want something normal-​sized for your house you’ll probably pay between $ 50 or $ 75. The trees are quite fresh and have always lasted well over a month for us. Just make sure you give it plenty of water so it doesn’t dry out.
They’re really friendly and helpful — they’ll put a fresh cut on the bottom of your tree so it lasts longer, and help you secure the tree to your roof the right way so you, the tree, and everyone else on the streets make it home safely :) They even shake the tree out so all the old pine needles/​spiders/​weasels/​etc. fall out and don’t end up as unwitting Christmas decorations once you get home.
Only downside to this place is that it’s always so wet around December that the lot they set up shop in every year is a big mudhole, so don’t wear your nice shoes when you go!
