Nope. Can’t recommend this place. We were in the process of relocating to the area and we were looking for a place to care for our 2 ½ year old. While they only had two reviews, they had five stars. After a tour, we felt comfortable our son would be happy. Then our first day arrived. I arrived at the facility and didn’t know how to get past the sign in security. Luckily, a teacher arrived and let me in. I asked for the director and was told she didn’t know when the director would be in. Hmmm… After standing awkwardly in the lobby for several minutes, that same teacher brought me back to the room where my son would be. A few minutes later, the Assistant Director arrived(I can’t remember her name, but she has what sounds like a Russian accent). We were not warmly greeted, to say the least. After spending some time with my son, it was time for me to leave. He was not happy, but became increasingly uncomfortable when she tried to take him from my arms. If I didn’t have a prior commitment, I would have protested. Oh, I hated to leave him like that. He seemed ok when I picked him up, so I chalked it up to being in a new environment. However, as days progressed, my husband noted a trend. Days that she was in the room at drop-off, my son was clingy and crying. Days she wasn’t there, he was fine. Fast forward a week later. I come to pick him up and immediately was surprised to see his face freshly scarred from his lip to the top of his nose. What happened to him?” I asked immediately. She explained that he was running outside and tripped. She expressed her disappointment that he was running. Um, he’s two… I asked why I didn’t get a phone call alerting me to the accident. She couldn’t explain, so I asked to speak with the Site Director, Tracy. Tracy came to the room and acknowledged that she knew he had fallen earlier. I asked why I didn’t get a call and was told«it got busy.» Sorry, when my son has significant scarring on his face, I expect a call. I made it clear that of something like this happens again, I expect a call. 48 hours later… I get a call. He had fallen again. Same type of fall. When I got there(roughly 30 minutes later) he looked horrible! Blood was still oozing from his wounds. She(Assistant Director) proceeded to blame my 2-year old son as he was running outside. The absolute last straw for me was when she knelt down to him, grabbed his wrists, and told him he was ok. Watching my son wince in fear of this person was one of the lowest points in my life. I immediately withdrew him from their program. I can NOT recommend this place.

My daughter started at Kiddie Academy of Redmond at 8 months of age and continued until 16 months of age. We had to leave the day care as relocated out of WA state. We toured multiple day cares before we picked Kiddie Academy of Redmond and the main reason we chose it because it was very clean, spacious, conveniently located for us. We were very happy with our decision and were happy to see our daughter spend the time she spent in Kiddie Academy As a new parent we were very concerned about her health. One thing that will strike you as soon as you enter the place is its cleanliness. It is always clean at all times. Second thing in our wish list for a day care was to find a caring teacher. The teachers here are genuinely caring, ready to take any feedback and at the same time seem to enjoy their time with kids. They do a lot of activities with kids which involves reading a lot of books, painting, crafts, music and dance time. My daughter loved going to Kiddie every day and I am very happy with both her infant and toddler room teachers. The daily report at the end of the day included a lot of pictures, videos of the child while at day which made us feel happy about the learning she did while at day care. We are very pleased with our experience at Kiddie Academy of Redmond and would highly recommend.

My infant son has attended Kiddie Academy of Redmond for the past 9 month now. I decided to wait a little bit, before writing a review to see how the things are going. I should say after almost a year, that we are very happy about our experience. At the beginning I chose this place because: 1) The facility is situated in a good place. Its quiet surrounded by farms and residential areas mostly. As I can see lots of daycares built in very crowded places, near the big roads etc. 2) The building itself is pretty new and all amenities are very clean. The classrooms also look good and fun. 3) Last, but not least. Very nice and friendly stuff. We called in a few different daycares prior our visit, but even a simple phone conversation wasn’t always pleasant. This daycare responds all my phone calls and they are polite and very helpful. Now I like our daycare a lot because: 1) Again great staff. The owner, Vivek is always there, I can always talk to him and he listens and tries to help. And he is a very easy-going person, which is nice too. The director(and our former teacher) ms. Tracy is smiley, great with kids, cheerful and helpful, my son loves her a lot and happy when sees her. If I have a question, or problem, I can always talk to them and I know I will be heard. Our current teacher ms. Sam is just amazing. She listens and take into account what I ask her and cares about the baby really good. She involves kids in lots of useful activities, from reading to drawing, working with clay, dancing, singing etc, and teaches them a lot. My son just adores her. All other teachers I’ve meet are nice and friendly as well. 2) There is a web cams in the infant room and playground, so I can always see what is my baby doing. Its also very cool that they send emails with daily reports, pictures and videos. 3) Results. I really see that my son learns a lot there and develop his cognitive and social skills. 4) There a lot of great activities going on each week this summer. They already had water play day outside(my son really enjoyed it), bubble man show, parrot lady etc. I also like that as I can see older kids are having lots of fun too. Its good to know, cause when my baby grows up he’ll have it too. Great daycare, highly recommended.
