If I could leave 0 stars I would! This is about an experience my mom and I had over a year ago so it’s been awhile. One of my close friends knew the owner and owner’s son of this business and reccomended we go to them after a car accident I got in over a year ago. My mom and I were both under a lot of stress when that car was totaled and we were told they would want parts or something like that– but that they would surely help us. Anyways my mom went in solely to get information, while I was on the phone with my boyfriend in the car talking to him about the situation) tthis was my boyfriends car but he was at work and couldn’t be there) and the owner was at the front and he had my mom come out to get me from the car for info from me. I went in and two seconds after being inside for god knows what reason my mom and I were completely just treated like utter crap. He threatened and literaly yelled at us to get the car off his property within 24 hours or else. And to get out of his business. Have NEVER been treated like that. Lol what a joke to run your place like that. What did we do t deserve that? I will never know. I still laugh at how pathetic his treatment of us was. And again, for no reason. We were there just to ask questions and potentially get help. Take your business elsewhere! We are surely never going back !

Good solid honest folks. I got my brakes done by them recently, and the new brakes started making odd noises a couple weeks later. They were super easy going about bringing the car back in to look at and correct at no extra charge. Super nice people too.

I have been a Luke’s Redmond Automotive customer for the past year and a half (2003 Ford Focus). I’m a tough critic, and Luke has been the single-​best shop I have ever been to.
I was in a minor car accident in 2010, and my car’s alignment was out of whack — I went to THREE different places to help me determine what was wrong with my car (after it was all «repaired», when I would go up to 60 mph or higher, the car would vibrate aggressively). When I approached Luke about the situation, in a matter of three minutes, he looked at the tires and said «your tires are balder than my dad’s head. Let’s get you a new set»
Sure enough, fixed the problem that I had suffered with for almost a YEAR.
Another beautiful thing about this place is the integrity of the shop; something I value very, very much. I had emailed Luke and told him «Luke, i need new brakes and antifreeze. Let me know how much that will cost and I’ll get it done». When I picked up my car, Luke told me the brakes were looking fantastic and wouldn’t need to be replaced… I GUARANTEED him business and he literally had to refuse my money! This speaks volumes to his character.
I have had several in-​depth conversations with Luke, and his philosophy/​goal is to make the cars out on the road safe for families, kids.
Is he a bargain-​brand kind of guy? no. You get what you pay for. I work in sales, and there is a differentiation between cost vs. price — price is what you pay up front, but cost is what you end up paying over the duration. Luke’s is a bargain cost kind of place.

Called Luke and he was super helpful. He had great answers and explanations for me. Off my first phone call he saved me $ 150!

Honest, does not do extra, unnecessary work that will cost extra and fast. I don’t feel nervous taking in my car to a mechanic for the first time!

Agree with Suzanne. I appreciate rational, detailed explanations to problems when I’m paying hundreds of dollars to fix them. After some nightmare experiences with two other mechanics, I took my car to Luke’s and I’m thrilled with the results.
No surprises, a detailed explanation of the work they were doing, estimated costs were accurate, and my car is running better than ever.
My favorite thing about this place is that Luke, the owner, sits in the waiting room, talks to all the customers as they enter and leave, and personally reviews /​signs off on all the work being done. I trust that the guy cares about his customers from both his attitude and the fact that his name is on the side of the building.
I was even offered coffee while I waited. I’ll be back for sure.

I am a very, very, very tough customer for a mechanic and these guys get 5 stars! No mechanic I’ve ever been to has impressed me as much.
–If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
–Very competitive prices.
–No surprises at the end (Actually, my bills was LESS than expected)
–Clear explanations taylored to the level of knowledge of the listener. I understood what was up, 100% of the time.
–Super-​cool staff!
Actually, I might do a lot less of my own automotive work. I am 32 years old and I just had Redmond Automotive to the first brake job I’ve ever paid for. In my life. Ever. Awesome!
