McDonald’s

When it’s good it’s good, when it’s bad, it’s really bad. I have only used the drive thru out of convenience so I can’t comment on the interior too much. But the drive thru staff have always been nice and chatty to me. On the occasions I do go, it would be a Big Mac and fries, or I try a artisan chicken sandwich. I tend to stick with the Big Mac because it’s the guaranteed tastiest option. Otherwise, their McFlurry’s are amazing… especially when some of the new ice cream stores in Redmond have huge lines, it’s still quicker to drive thru McD’s for a McFlurry, at a fraction of the cost.

This place was horrible when I moved to Redmond in September of ’14. Everything was bad breakfast, lunch and pm. I have moved away recently but prior to that I noticed an improvement.
Returning here on the last day of January 2016, the place is top notch as far as McDonalds goes. It can be noisy with all the kids having fun. You have to be a real jerk to let that bother you.
One thing in particular, I hope they read this, the young man at the counter (didn’t catch his name) (the little black guy) was a real pleasant surprise. What a great attitude. I noticed I wasn’t the only one who recognized it. Too bad his personality isn’t contagious. Redmond could use it for sure.
The food was good too.

2 orders in 2 days, less than 24 hours apart and BOTH were colossally wrong — to the point of my throwing away the sandwiches instead of eating them and going down to the cafeteria at my work and buying something else instead :(.
Yesterday, for lunch, I ordered 2 Big Macs with EXTRA sauce and no pickles but got 2 Big Macs with NO sauce :(Today I went there for breakfast and ordered a Morning Mac and a Sausage Biscuit without Egg but instead got a Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit and a Sausage Muffin with Egg. They did get my drink right both times (Diet Coke, no ice) but their quality control (and/​or attention to detail) is ridiculously poor.
From now on I’m going to sit in their drive-​thru after I get my order and fully inspect EVERY ITEM before I pull my car forward. Would actually NEVER GO THERE AGAIN except that they’re the closest McDonalds to both my work and my home so … :/

Look, this is a fast food restaurant. So I’m rating on a scale relative to other fast food places. Whenever I’ve gone to this location I’ve been served exactly what I wanted and always receive good service from the employees. The gentleman who works late at night is especially cheerful. I would recommend this location to anyone who is craving authentic McDonald’s.

Drive thru: got attitude when asking for ketchup. Don’t need that especially from some kid.
Asked for fresh fries and got the exact opposite.
Won’t be back!

Above average size store and one of the better, cleaner, and impressive Play Places. We’ve been twice just for the playground on hot days in the area.
Trip 1: fine everything. I didn’t hear the buzzing light a couple people mentioned.
Trip 2: the kitchen and counter staff seemed short staffed and in chaos. They screwed up our order and many others, and one of the front end supervisors… she was a bit surly. I can hear that annoying buzzing light. It’s really annoying.
Fix that light and it’s a 4 star…

McDonalds is probably the last place you’d expect to receive decent customer service. Before heading into work last week I dropped in to get some breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by Mercedes’ positive and energetic customer service. She did an excellent job in making sure that we were satisfied and that our order was correct.

Literally one of the most disgusting moments in my life eating their food. Went there twice now in the last 2 weeks for take out and had to go back and get my entire order due to mistakes.
First time they forgot a meat patty on my breakfast sandwich. I literally got a glorified grilled cheese.
Second time I got a fully frozen hash brown that was lukewarm where I was holding it from the other stuff in the bag and when I bit into it it was like 90% frozen. That’s messed up I don’t care who you are.

Will never eat here again i found a long black hair in my filet a fish. The service is surly too.

Hate to admit it but yes I do eat ate McDonalds and growing up it was a big reward after working in the yard all day to go get a cheeseburger or Big Mac and fries and finish with a soft serve come. I go through drive through now and take home my favorite treat and watch my then watch favorite show. The Redmond location is awesome and always get my order right. It’s a trip back home. Recommend highly.

Noisy: multiple alarms going off the full time I was there. Couldn’t enjoy the food at all.
Lack of consideration: totally prioritize drive up over eat in customers. 13 minutes to get through 2 customers before me. 15 minutes to get order. Totally fails on promise.

I just want a decent, functioning bathroom for my kids and a Playplace. So far failing on the bathroom front. I realize you’re only as good as your patrons sometimes so. .
The Playplace is ok besides the fact that there are never basketballs but, good lord, there is a huge light buzzing right above me. These kids of mine get 20 more minutes tops before i start bleeding from the ears.

I hate this place… and not just the Redmond one… but EVERY last one!
Fast food in general … GROSS!
I’d rather have a tasty Filet with some mushroom sauce and mash potatoes :)

I used to work in Redmond and would frequent this McDonalds for cheap coffee. McDonalds is gross no matter the location and you’d think Redmond would ban trashy McDonalds like these within the city limits.
I always see crackheads and other sketchy people wandering around the parking lots looking for other peoples cigarettes on the ground and the bathroom is never clean. I once saw poop smeared on the wall. No joke.
The employees are sad, depressed people and I hate ordering from them because they obviously don’t care and would probably pee in my coffee if given the chance.
Yuck.

Wow!!! I ordered a number 2 just now! Two cheeseburger meal and reach in my bag while driving on 520 back home and guess what??? Not one but both my burgers are ice cold!!! This is ridiculous! I don’t know if I should turn around which I prolly won’t but I want to go back there and throw this in the face of that guy with the mustache working the window who calls himself a manager! Learn how to manage a business I will be reporting you!

The Good:
As a family, the food is pretty well spot on to their orders most of the time. And when there is a mistake, they fix it.
The Bad:
Morning and daytime dining is a mess there. Both in the dining room and the staff.
The Ugly:
Some people use the place as a late night kid energy drain, so the noise and mess lasts until midnight.
Conclusion:
The food would be a critical point if they didn’t make it at least passable quality like corporation demands. Lately (last 6 months) I have never had a lukewarm fry from there. The night staff are more friendly than the day staff, however I can understand why. Sometimes the diners are a mess themselves, but you can find that everywhere that food is cheap. I am hoping that like our local Taco Time, that this McD’s will get new food to test before releasing to all their chains.

I am sitting in the worse McDonald’s in the King county area.
I brought my children to eat and play, thinking that I could do some work whigh in the process. I look around for a plug for my laptop and there is none. I spoke with Martha who was oblivious to the fact that they covered the only Outlet in the whole McDonald’s. She pretends to help another customer right while I ask a question. She actually tried to ignore me.
The more decent thing to do would be to tell me the customer that there are no plugs to use anymore due to greed. The noise level is quite high. I will not be coming back to this McDonald’s ever again if I can help it.
The funny thing is when I went to get the managers name, she was sitting in the very area where she told me the plug was. (now covered with a metal plate) She looks over and says «oh, that’s where the plug use to be.» Unbelievable!
I am sorry for those who love McDonald’s. I would suggest eating at another one.

They’ve definitely improved quite a bit with their late-​night staff. They’re very friendly and I got all of my items I ordered. As an added bonus, right now they have the «After Midnight» menu, which I know that some areas are testing out. It allows you to get certain breakfast menu items as well as their normal burgers, all after midnight to 4am.
We got a Big Mac, hash browns, an Egg McMuffin, and a cheeseburger last time we went. Everything was awesome, the only complaint I had was that the muffin wasn’t toasted on our McMuffin, but that’s completely understandable, a new menu to get used to and I’m sure they don’t normally work breakfast items.
Anyway, they’ve gotten better, but I still wouldn’t feel right giving them a four-​star review.

I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars, but I cant. And, unfortunately, I like McDonalds in general, and patronize them frequently, but this one drives me INSANE. 10 trips there in the last year, and 4 of the ten orders were messed up. 3 of them I had to wait for on the side, which isnt great.
This last Saturday I ordered some nuggets, two chicken sandwiches, and a large fries, which gets tricky as their order taker has terrible english. I asked the food handler at the second window to TRIPLE CHECK the food, as they always mess up the order. He, as they always do, assured me there would be no problem. I started to leave, then thought better of it, checked my food while in their driveway, and sure enough, NO FRIES. They point fingers at each other, but in the end, its terrible customer service, and you are likely to have an order go awry. SO ANNOYING, check your bag there EVERY TIME. Do it at the window, to save the probable return.

Good service, custom orders, free WiFi. Like most McDonald’s, this is a well run local establishment that brings together the whole community. Go on a weekend and you will see this place packed with communities of old folks sharing newspapers and families with little kids.
I don’t go often, but I am always delighted when I do. BTW the McRib is back!
