PomBar

This is Pomegranate Bistro’s «bar», but it is separate from the bistro. I LOVE it. I am so happy to have this venue in Redmond. Classy, awesome food and happy hour specials.
My husband and I went last Saturday night. We had been at our daughters ball tournament all weekend and they WON, so we went to celebrate.
I had the cauliflower soup. Really good and it was not a cream base so that’s good. It was seasoned perfectly and pureed so smooth it was like velvet on my tongue.
We shared the arugala and (sp) flatbread, always good.
But…the BEST part of the night folks was the carrot cake. I do not usually eat sweet things like this, but it is my husband’s favorite dessert and so we ordered it. OMG homemade, dense, moist, sweet decadent heaven. We devoured it. It was something that I will remember forever. It was that awesome. Made my night.
Of course the lemon drop was made exactly how I like it, not sweet just a drip of syrup and extra tart. So good. And my husbands Manhattan was Classic and perfect.
Service was very good and our waiter was cool. If you have not gone, please go you will love it. I think happy hour starts @ 3:30.
