AMAZING brunch! Chicken and waffles was amazing. The eggs Benedict with smoked salmon was pretty good. Service was also great. The only thing is, the food was a bit overly greasy(especially the fried eggs).

Service here is consistently terrible. Just left after being«at the top of the list» and seeing 5 groups who arrived after us get seated. The food is good, but not fantastic. It’s always busy as there are not a ton of great options in Redmond. But it’s just consistently terrible service.

Super oily food. The entrees are too expensive compared to the potions. Mashes potatoes were tasteless. Disappointed

Really good pizza! We’ve been here twice now and have enjoyed it both times. They have very unique menu items and drinks. We had moonshine corn fries, very good. Kinda like soft cornbread fries. Pizza is called«fire bread» and is really good. Try it out… what the heck!

Very disappointing lunch at Pomegranate. We’ve eaten here many, many times in the past, but we aren’t very likely to return in the future. My party ordered two salads with added chicken breast. It was the skimpiest chicken portion imaginable but cost an additional $ 8 per person. And once we removed the skin there was almost no chicken on our now $ 17 salads. The salad descriptions sounded great in the menu but in reality were uninspired.

I’ve been twice now, once for dinner and once for breakfast. I think they can’t make up their mind if they’re a casual restaurant or a fancy one and so they’re not quite good at being either. I will say service was great, very friendly, helpful, and punctual. Food was just truly not good either time. Will not be giving this a third try.

Love the food here, especially Lisa’s southern fried chicken. we try to get here early enough so that they are not out of the fried chicken. This time we also tried their Pulled pork and kumquat Flatbread. The kumquat jam made it a little sweet for our tastes but still enjoyed it. Their macroons are a must have. We always get a bunch of them to go.

We came to breakfast and expected a long wait. Luckily, the hostess helped us seat at the bar to save 15 minutes wait time. We ordered the coffee, Hawaiian joy and drip coffee, and chicken and waffle as well as biscuit gravy and fried chicken. I had chicken and waffle before and I loved their kumquats sauce and presentation. For the new presentation of waffle and chicken, they poured the sauce on the top of the waffle which I wasn’t a fan. The red pepper jelly was way too sweet for my pallet. I was expecting something more savory not too sugary. After I finished most of my food, I had a piece of waffle without any sauce on. Biscuit and gravy tasted delicious. Our server was attentive and told us that I can get extra sauce or sauce on the side of my waffle next time. Although I love their chicken and waffle, I might try something different next time. The deco was bright, clean and modern and you can see the kitchen staff working through the big window. There was a bakery area when you first walked in. They had all different kinds of goodies. I wanted to order black Julip which I saw the review on Unilocal a year old. The server was very helpful to check for me. Luckily, the bartender was very nice to make me one without the wild honey. It had cold brew, mint and honey and made me wired. The coffee gone a rye was very unique too! We ordered biscuit and gravy with bacon and chicken with waffle. The boneless chicken was moist and the waffle was fluffy paired with butter, honey and citrous jam. It created perfect balance. I don’t usually like gravy but the one here made me want to lick the plate. The arugula salad with biscuit gravy helped cut the richness. The portion was great and good selections. The service was efficient and friendly! Overall, I am happy to find a good spot for brunch on the Eastside!

I didn’t have great expectations for this place, because usually I’m not floored by brunch no matter where I go. Plus, for foods as cheap as eggs and pancakes, I actually hate paying a ton of money for it at restaurants. But, I was happy enough to enjoy the buzz of Pomegranate Bistro on a busy Saturday morning. It was a tad loud, so I couldn’t quite hear what my co-eater was saying, but I did enjoy my sandwich – the Hempler’s Bacon and Egg Sandwich with peppers($ 10.50). Despite its simplicity, it was pretty flavorful, fairly filling and didn’t cost as much as I would have expected for the area. Bottom line: Sure, why not.

Brunch game on the east side is WEAK, so Pomegranate is a real gem! Super cute interior with solid food options from benedicts to waffles to more lunch-y options like grilled cheese w/tomato soup. I’ve never been disappointed here. The service is fast & friendly and they have pretty good coffee too. Will definitely be back to try some baked goods/pastries!

Finally, my first visit to Chef Lisa Dupar’s Pomegranate Bistro in Redmond on 5÷14÷16. I arrived with minutes to spare, after me the directional challenged, originally took the wrong exit off of 520 East. It was recommended to me by my dining partner, Rachael. While I waited, I was able to get a great view of the production/catering area. I was very impressed by the vast layout. At one brief baking stint, I literally baked in a glorified closet! She ordered the arugula flatbread, while I selected the bacon, sharp cheddar, broccoli, onion flatbread($ 14). Both were incredibly generous topping and size wise. Crusts perfectly baked in the well manned hearth oven. I can report that the leftovers 5 hours later at room temperature, straight from the takeout box were as tasty as first served. For dessert, we were encouraged to check out the pastry case. There were scones, croissants, assorted macarons, cream cheese filled molasses cookies, carrot cake slices, but my eyes descended to the available slices of chocolate truffle cake($ 7). I was curious whether it was as good as the chocolate layered cake from my favorite Greenwood bakery. Rich, moist, and made with good quality chocolate. It was a close second! We were there for a little over 3 ½ hours, unobtrusive service and high quality goods for that weird in between time of dunch/linner. Pomegranate Bistro is clearly a destination while in Redmond. The tables filled up towards the end of our leisurely meal and conversation. A great find!

Amazing! Had the fried chicken, my friend had the burger and we had the mac n cheese as an appetizer– wow! Everything was SO good! I got the chicken and dumpling soup to go and the brownie bar– such an epic idea :) Can’t say enough good, food is to die for and the service was perfect! I’ll be back!

9:30 on a Saturday morning. Seated promptly — good. Breakfast drinks ordered and arrived promptly thereafter — very good. A couple quick questions answered and meals appeared in very timely fashion — impressive. Waitress was patient, pleasant and handled take out request no problem. My waffle was probably the best ever. My wife’s Bistro Benedict was so, so. One prepared expertly the other hard boiled. Our takeout item … Savannah Hot Pups. Simply awesome. I would return just for these. Location a bit odd, but worth a try for anyone who appreciates an upscale breakfast at a similarly designed eatery.

I found this place and took my then-boyfriend, now-fiancé for brunch. We’ve had brunch here twice since autumn 2015 and both times, he ordered the chicken and waffles and I ordered the Pomegranate breakfast. He absolutely loved the chicken and waffles, and I enjoyed my classic brunch plate, but I would’ve enjoyed some green goodness on it, too. Food: Superb. I highly recommend the chicken and waffles and the Pomegranate breakfast plate. Service: The first time we had brunch here, it was great. The second time we had brunch here, the waitress forgot almost everything. She got my fiancé his coffee, but didn’t bring or ask if he wanted cream. Payment: I think the second time we had brunch here, our waitress forgot to bill us for some things, which was fine by us since she forgot and messed up on several items. Fun fact #1: The first time we had brunch here, it was so great, I left my purse at the restaurant and didn’t realize it for four hours. The restaurant closed at 2:00 that day, and we rushed over at 2:30 knocking down the door. The staff was cleaning and prepping, and my purse was safely tucked in a lost & found box. I gotta give it to the East Side people, no one wants to steal a purse because they all have much nicer purses than I do. Fun fact #2: They have the Seattle Times for free for all their patrons, and both times we had brunch here, it was Sunday. And you know what that means: Sunday comics section! It was fun reliving my pre-adult life and being able to take the Sunday comics to the table and home with me. Overall: I highly recommend this place. Be sure to arrive before 11:00 if you want to be seated within a reasonable time for brunch.

I was at Whole Foods and wanted to grab dinner before heading home. I of course, went to Unilocal.Found this place and noticed it was right across the street. I really couldn’t pass it up due to the ratings — but goodness did the storefront look unappealing! I walk in and HOLYCRAP this place is *really* nice! You would never know from just looking at the outside. Perused the menu and had difficulty picking out something to eat, because it ALL looked good. :D I chose the fried chicken. It was just ok, little on the dry side but I definitely need to come back and try some of the other items. They also have a really cute bakery inside the restaurant that sells macarons! I was so beside myself! I just love love love macarons.

Great food, nice ambience, decent prices and good service! We went for breakfast and I got the yogurt and granola, which was healthy and delicious I like the pictures of pomegranate in the restaurant. Wish they actually used pomegranate in their dishes(e.g., granola dish).

Got the Salmon Bistro Benedict, Pomegranate Breakfast, & Sausage and Peppers Firebread on Easter Day. And oh boy was it delicious. This is one of my favorite places for breakfast/brunch. It’s very fresh and light, most of the ingredients are organic or home grown. It doesn’t make you feel heavy(food coma) after you finish the meal. 2 thumbs up!

Overall 3.5. Visiting my cousin and he took us here. Ambiance: 4 stars. Nicely decorated for Christmas. Liked the open kitchen/open fire stove. Gave off nice heat on a cold, freezing, rainy day. Being from So. Cal., feeling roasty toasty felt super nice. Nice, clean bathrooms. It was very crowded, but we were seated immediately. There’s a catering part and you can see it through the windows. Food: 4 stars. The flatbreads(pizza) seemed to be their specialty so that’s what we ordered. Hubby and I got the vegetarian one and Italian sausage one and had them split each in half(his with no cheese). Liked that they cut it in half and served it to us that way, as opposed to giving us a whole flatbread. It was very tasty. We enjoyed it. It’s not anything that I’d say«oh this is the best pizza I ever had», but we all seemed to enjoy it. Price: 2 stars. I’m sure it’s considered fairly priced for the type of restaurant it is, but at $ 12-$ 13/flatbread, the three of us cost almost $ 50, and that wasn’t even with any beverages. That’s pretty pricey for a lunch. Service: 3 stars. Service was decent. I wouldn’t say excellent, but not bad either. Just your basic busy restaurant. Nice that they leave a bottle of water at your table, as that eliminated the need for us to call our waitress over. Nice to try a non-chain restaurant not available in San Diego.

Came her for brunch on Sunday morning. It was one of the few brunch places in Redmond that didn’t have a long wait. The place is fairly roomy and has a slightly classy pomegranate themed décor. GOOD * Fried Chicken & Waffles — Solid crunchy fried chicken, with a soft waffle, sweet maple syrup, and an interesting pickled watermelon rind pepper jelly * Biscuits & Gravy — Creamy, thick, gravy over soft biscuit. A piece of fried chicken can be added for $ 8. A little expensive, but tasty. MEH * Hot Peppers & Sausage Firebread — These are basically flatbreads. This specific one had breakfast like toppings. There was a good amount of toppings, but the flatbread was a bit floppy, so hard to keep it altogether. Also I don’t think the scrambled eggs and flatbread went that well together.

Our wine BFFs drag us to this brunch spot almost every time we visit from Vancouver. The service is top notch! So down-to-earth and takes care of customers. We usually order the chicken waffle or the fried chicken on the side and the most recent time I visited the two chickens I had were a bit on the raw side and I asked the server if he could take it back and just refry them. No. Not gonna happen because you know what? Pomegranate team apologized sincerely and offered a new plate with new serving of hash brown also. And the wow part of it, Pomegranate took my fried chicken off of the bill. Thank you so much for the fantastic food and service. We will see you again. Cheerio!
