We had uncovered some very old family letters dating back to 1875. At the same time, I was attempting to trace our family genealogy and was hitting dead ends. I figured that these old letters might hold valuable insights into our family history. Unfortunately, all the letters were written in German and no one in the family could translate them.
I contacted many translators. One of them was Catherine, owner of Progengo. I sent Catherine a zip drive of the 30 letters. She immediately responded with a plan that took into consideration my timeline and budget. Then it was discovered that the family letters were written in a long forgotten German script that very few people would be able to translate. Catherine was able to locate a person who had the capabilities to translate this forgotten script and did an excellent job.
While it was wonderful to have these old family letters translated, what was even more wonderful was working with Catherine. Catherine is highly professional, detailed oriented, and excellent at getting difficult projects completed in a timely manner.
