Ruff House Self-Service Dog Wash

I use to love coming to this place, but recently it is not the same. The place has gotten to be so dirty with mold on the floor and left over dog hair around the tubs. It really smells bad and dirty. I have offered to clean up and try to clean more than just my own mess after I am done.
However, the owner has been extremely rude and has insisted that her employees are allowed to use the tubs and tables while they are on the clock, regardless if their paying customers need to use them. I was shocked as she actually was angry at a customer for wanting to use her grooming table but wasn’t allowed to because her employee wanted to use the table instead. Her employee took 2 – 3 hours using the table while her customer had to sit on a little stool and brush her dog on a high chair that was there. I felt sorry for her customer. This is definitely not the kind of customer service I would have expected! I will certainly not be back. They appear to be nice at first but they have a double standard.
Their bathroom is shut down because their roof is leaking as well. Smelly water and dirt was around the laundry room tubs when I peaked in.
I turned on the vacuum and it smelled horribly like mold and dead hair. I quickly turned it off. The dryers were just too loud for my dog and I had to take her home wet.
I don’t know what has happened but the combination of everything including the rudeness to a customer who never complained while she was there, made me decided I will not be returning ever again! I have found out that Petco has put in a self wash called «Unleashed» in Kirkland. I have been there once, and they are much much cleaner and cheaper to use, not to mention a lot friendlier! 10.00 to wash your dog any size!

This service is pure genius, everything you need to wash your dog quickly and super easy. Ergonomic set up with all the equipment provided and they do the clean up! A great value price-​wise as well. Even on a sunny Sunday hardly a wait at all, very quick to get in without an appointment.

I love this place! The lady working here was so extremely helpful and friendly. They have everything you need to bath your dog and more. The place is nicely kept and the price is very reasonable. Will definitely go back.

First timer here. Walked in with my two dogs fresh from Marymoor dog park. They were as dirty and stinky as could be. Staff here are incredibly friendly. Great set up and very fair prices. We will definitely be back!

I have been coming here for 11 years and can’t say enough about how wonderful the staff is, how clean the facility is and much I enjoy having all the tools I need to come away with a fully groomed dog! They are also so generous with the punch cards!

Very impressed and very pleased with this store. No appointment needed; everything you need to wash/​groom your dog. Prices are very reasonable and the young lady was very helpful, very amiable and obviously an asset to the store. They even have a dog blow dryer by ConAir if your dog doesn’t care for the cold regular blower. Very nice — whoever makes those things aren’t too swift — who wants cold air blown on them when they’re all wet?
Nice punch card system; I got $ 3 off since it was my first visit. I will definitely be back.

I’m so happy that I found the Ruff House! It makes talking care of my 5 Pups so much easier, being able to pop in and have everything I need for their grooming there and available! I love that all the tools and Shampoo/​conditioners are available at no extra cost and that there is no time limit that makes me have to hurry through it! The owner is very kind and explains how everything works. I’m now a loyal customer!

Love this place and our boxer does too. It’s cute and clean with everything you need to wash your dirty dog. Also love the tall walls between stalls to limit distraction from other dogs. Can’t beat the 10 min for $ 10!

LOVE THIS PLACE! We have been twice now with our 3 Aussies and it is so much easier then bathing the dogs at home! They have everything you need and its a great place to bathe your dogs!!! I would highly recommend Ruff House! Oh and a great staff too:)

After I take my dog, Jacob, to Marymoor I always come here. Unlimited time to wash and high quality washing facilities and soap. Prices are between $ 15 and $ 20z

Despite living a few blocks away, I had never brought my dog here before. The reasons are many (primarily because we prefer to get her groomed, and also, perhaps most importantly, because she’s incredibly antisocial around other dogs and it’s mortifying to us. Let’s just say her nickname is «Cujo»). At any rate, recently she was emitting a funky smell that we weren’t keen on and, at 6:15pm on a Tuesday afternoon, we decided to try this place out, figuring there wouldn’t be other dogs in the place so late. (A gamble, I know… but we were right!).
This is the neatest place EVER! Seriously, it makes me wonder why anyone would opt to bathe their dog at home and deal with the sopping wet bathtub, broken back, a gazillion dollars in doggie grooming products, wet clothes, wet towels, and a big dry-​up-​and-​clean-​up job. I mean, why bother? This place has it all: individual stalls with the basins at human waist level (so you don’t break your back bending and reaching); ramps for the dogs to walk up into the basins (again, so you don’t break your back lifting uncooperative pooches); wall-​mounted leashes to keep the doggie stationery (optional, but we definately used it); walls between cubicles (so your dog isn’t distracted/​threatened/​wanting to kill neighboring dogs. That last one is for my pooch only… lol); all the grooming lotions and potions you can imagine, as much as you need or want (shampoos with different scents or hypoallergenic or flea or brightening or «skunk» shampoo, face shamppos, all sorts of conditioners, ear solution cleaners, scented sprays, eye cleaners… You name it); cold and warm dryers, a vacuum, unlimited towels, brushes and strippers and combs, nail clippers and scissors… They even supply you with a waterproof apron to keep yourself dry if your rascally pooch decides to shake off all her lather repeatedly all over the stall (of course, mine did just that. Repeatedly!).
The price is super-​reasonable and I liked how the lady, Carla, took the time to explain the set-​up to me, and how she gave us coupons to save $ 3 at our next visit.
I can’t imagine why anyone would want to wash their pet at home with this kind of facility around. It’s awesome!

Trying to give baths to my two corgis at home was always a struggle. When we found out there was a self service dog wash, we were so excited. I don’t know why we haven’t found this place sooner. This place is great! It reminds us of the self car wash places. The soap/​conditioner/​dryer is all in one knob. The sink is big enough for both our corgis to fit. The pricing is very reasonable. The staff is great and very helpful. The place is clean and you can always buy your pet a toy or a treat on your way out.

Found this gem after a muddy day at marymoor park. I love the self service wash, it’s cheap! And they have all the tools you would ever need. I have a labradoodle so I really appreciate the different de-​matting tools. It’s nice to have the shampoo/​conditioner come out of the hose as a spray instead of using bottled products. Easier application! Only suggestion would be to make it optional to have the staff do nail clippings for those customers that aren’t confident in doing it themselves.

This place is cozy, but has everything I need, freshener, FURminator, face wash, ear cleanser, cotton balls, white towels. Unlimited warm water.

This place is the BEST! I have a three-​legged Great Pyrenees and nothing about giving a bath to a three-​legged moose is easy, however this place makes it so manageable! They help me get him into the tub and with all the supplies within arms reach, I can leave with a clean, great smelling pooch and a non-​broken back! The blowers have always been the best option for me to dry him, and the best part is they get to keep all the fur, which doesn’t seem fair, but it’s great for me!
The staff is always friendly and helpful. The shop and towels are always very clean. The aprons are great too. I can leave dry, without a big mess to clean up or laundry to do. We’ve gone through one stamp card already, gotten our free wash, and on our way to a second!

Awesome place! This’ll be the only place we’ll be taking Dex to… beats duking it out at home with a kiddy pool and a bucket!
The place was clean, there was a nice young lady who explained the system… This is essentially a Brown Bear do-​it-​yourself wash place for your dogs. They have different shampoos, conditioner, combs, nail clippers, a giant hair dryer, aprons for doggie parents, and towels by the thousands (and I’m not the one doing laundry tonight!). They gave Dex treats to have him associate his first visit with happy thoughts… The price is insane cheap compared to doggie spas where they wash the dog for you.
I recommend if its your first visit, consider this a two-​person job. But if you have an adult/​calm dog, you’ll be ok with one person.

Comparable pricing, clean facilities, and access to all the tools and products you might need including several types of shampoos and conditioners (whitening shampoo too!), finishing sprays, brushes (they have furminators!), clippers, ear cleaner, etc. The staff is friendly and prompt with service. If you’ve never been before they give a great first-​time tutorial and are happy to answer any questions. You can get a stamp card and work your way to a free wash, plus there’s usually coupons in the local mailers. They also have a small variety of doggy treats for sale, plus a whole wall of awesome leashes and collars if you need a replacement.

Came in today with my wife and two dogs pretty close to closing. Rather than being hustled through or scowled at, they treated us like kings. The lady who runs the place is super nice.
The place itself has everything you could think of related to grooming. Shampoos, conditioners, leave-​in conditioners, rubber scrubbers, furminators. The price is good, and they have a punch card for frequent customers.
All around a wonderful experience.
