Sixty Acre Park

These fields may be ok but access to and from fields is HORRID during tournaments. There is literally one road into these fields. The back up from arriving cars is literally 50 – 100 cars — taking 25 minutes to drive a quarter of a mile. While waiting I got rear ended!!! And we saw several young kids get out of their cars and run down the roadway to make games on time. Poorly placed and poorly executed place for tournaments. They charged 15 to park for the weekend and we had to walk half a mile to fields. At one point on Saturday after we paid 15 dollars for parking they told us the lots were full.
Won’t be doing Crossfire Select tournament again. Ridiculous in so many ways.

I love 60 Acres. I go there to fly rockets. It’s a great field because it is literally 60 Acres (see what they did there?), so it can handle larger rockets that can hit up to 2500 feet. There is plenty of parking, restrooms located on the south field. The only problem with flying rockets there is the R/​C airplane guys can get a little aggressive. They like to «test the boundaries» so to speak… and enjoy flying over your launch site. That usually lasts until you launch a big rocket… they tend to stick to their own area after that.

I came to this place one time in 8^th grade with a class to light off our model rockets it was a blast.

60 acre park! yes 6 – 0 acres, of beautifully maintained grass for the citizens and visitors alike to play on. Gorgeous expansive park surrounded by lush trees with a road running thru it. Trails run along it too. Easy to find but you feel like it is in the middle of nowhere. It is used for a variety of things like for kids camps, for cycling, for local soccer leagues, for the Susan G. Komen three day race, for flying electric planes, for big soccer tournaments like Nike Crossfire and regional soccer tournaments, for frisbee, for Boy scout and girl scout activities, and for churches’ events etc. The only con is on the larger side no real bathrooms. They have portopotties that are often trashed with no paper and no handwashing! Yuck! But bring some tissues and some handsanitizer for those unfortunate occasions otherwise 60 AP is a rare and remarkable recreational find. This place is for young and old– anyone that loves an ‘as far as you can run and see’ open space. Love it!

I like this park. I usually run along the Sammamish River a few times a week. The landscaping and maintenance along the River is great. The bike trail is clean.

Big beautiful fields that are used every year for the Ultimate Frisbee tournament, Potlatch. A hundred teams congregate for a weekend of playing disc and partying.
This is also apparently a field used by local soccer youth, and they seem to really enjoy it also.
There’s really not too much too it. Beautiful, expansive fields. Lots of parking. Happy faces!
