Supercuts

This is ridiculous. There are two people here. One has been doing the same woman’s hair forever. The girl working here has already done two peoples hair. Why are we still here I don’t know. My boyfriend needs to get his hair cut tonight and I’ll stay chilled out. The girl working with him looked over and rolled her eyes so that made me laugh and I feel better putting a one star. Don’t come here if it’s late and you need your hair cut unless it’s an emergency. Wait till the next day.

This place has a variety of problems. First of all the male salonist out there is outright rude and rough. Does not have any customer care or politeness while conducting haircut. Haircut on a human is way different than doing it on a zoo animal. This guy handles the customer’s head very roughly. While he used the clippers, my head hurt & felt like he was either doing it too fast or the machine was bad. Uncooperative and unfriendly. The next problem with male salonist is that he is a heavy smoker and the bad breadth of tobacco constantly bothers me while I am a non-​smoker and am totally anti tobacco. I just could not bear the stink. The trouble with place is that the other coworker at that time of this person was the regional manager of Supercuts. She works from multiple locations and is a good person but does not observe or take any action on customer dissatisfaction. She has a job to take care.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The toothless stylist that cut my hair butchered my layers at the front and then told me she didn’t have time to blow dry my hair. Maybe she knew how bad it was going to look once it dried… seriously this woman had no clue how to cut hair! Stay away from this place if you want a decent haircut.

I wish there’s a negative grade! RUDE, incompetent, OVER-​PRICED… Oh and did I mention RUDE!
Called to ask about pricing and availability, was told over the phone it’s $ 30. Went to my appointment, wasn’t asked if I wanted to wash my hair or not, if I knew they charge you ridiculously $ 8 I would have washed it. So I assumed it’s included in the price like any other respectful salon! Showed the style I want. Started by drying my hair which they told me later costs additional $ 15!!! Then came the curling iron which was the smallest in width I’ve ever seen. She never showed it to me to make sure I agree on its size, which after she was done by the bottom half of my hair, I was like… WHAT THE HELL!!! They didn’t have another curling iron, so I told to just curl it with the flat iron. She already wasted time and had to redo half my hair! Once she was done, and I wanted to check out, they shocked me with how much they’re asking… $ 53. So, washing: $ 8, Blowdry: $ 15, flat iron: $ 30. I told them I do my hair at Gene Juarez for $ 40!!! She said «she has been working on ur hair for 1 hour 12 mins», told her she had to redo a portion of my hair due to her fault. These are our prices, and I’ll give you a discount $ 48! Told them this’s outrageous. That other woman said arrogantly «Sorry we’re not Gene Juarez this’s super cuts» told her yes, they’re way better than here!
Absolutely RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, OVERPRICED!

Don’t pay any attention to any time estimate they give you. My ’25 minute wait’ was an hour and 10 minutes… and was then told it was 15 minutes more so I took off. Combine that with the people who showed up after me but were served before me and I wasn’t super happy.
Haircuts are fine here… basic Supercuts haircut… but they seem to have new people all the time and the disregard to customer wait times (happens often it seems at this location) will have me not going here anymore.

The staff is constantly encouraged to u sell you aka Get you to pay for them to shampoo your hair. Always trying to push some product on you. They seem to have a major problem keeping employees for very long. I have had their Paul Mitchell hair color turn my hair extremely undesirable colors. The wall around the shampoo area was also moldy and pealing apart last time I was in there.
The only person I would recommend there is Jean (if she is still there), she was extremely nice, and gave a great cut with out pushing things on people.
Don’t bother to call in on their «reservation» system to set a time to come in because it is a «reservation» you can show up on time and still have to wait 15 — 20 minutes to get your hair cut.

For reference, I like my hair short on the sides and back, and medium length on top. A conservative cut with nothing tricky.
I have used this barber for about 6 years. It used to be great, 5 stars, no matter which stylist you turned to. About 4 years ago I started having Farzi (a really nice Egyptian lady) cut my hair exclusively. She was fantastic — funny, got the job done quick and it always looked great. With her you could relax and just chat. She had my complete trust.
I was told Farzi got bad carpal tunnel and left. I went back twice since and it’s just not the same at all. Time to find a new barber.
If anyone discovers that Farzi is cutting again please let me know!
