I had my first eye exam today. Dr. Hansen is a very kind person who takes time with you and explains things in a way that a layperson would understand. Austin, who checked me in, is just awesome, he is funny, friendly and professional and works hard to make you feel comfortable. Liz, who helped me pick out my new frames, was terrific; she was patient while I roamed around and brought out several frames that she thought would look good on me. I can’t say enough good things about Advanced Eye Care. I recommend them highly.

Great place! Took my 8 year old & 10 year old there for their annual eye exams & new glasses. The staff was very attentive to all of us and very accommodating. They were really sweet with the kids. The Doctor who did the exam was also very sweet with the kids and spoke to them in ways that made things happy and fun and not scary. Getting them both fitted for new glasses was super easy and pleasant. All of the staff there is very nice, they return phone calls quickly, and are very upfront explaining insurance benefits and options as well. I would highly recommend this place to everyone! They also have a great selection of glasses for adults and for children. Plus, they have a patient portal online system that they can set you up with that makes things very convenient as well!

I just really can’t say enough about Advanced Eye Care. Such a pleasant atmosphere super nice staff along with a great doctor, State of art equipment, Top shelve Location in the South Bay. Highly recommend.

Nothing short of fantastic! Dr. Hansen is unmatched and the service is fantastic. Last week I broke my «unbreakable» German frames, and Advanced Eyesore unbelievably had a pair in stock and I was on my way with new frames in a matter of minutes. Won’t go anywhere else, even though I live in south Orange County.

I recently moved to LA from San Francisco and needed to find a new OD. I searched top rated optometry places and this is the really the best in the area! Service is fast, good follow up and Dr. Hosaka is very thorough. He includes the initial exam + follow up to make sure there are no issues all part of the included fee quote. They have good technology to do follow up appts as well so it was very efficient with the store.
They have all the newest technology and they make sure that they equip you with the appropriate glasses and contacts depending on your conditions. I arrived at 920am and was out by 11am for glasses and contacts exam. He fit me for contacts for my dry eyes and allergies and they are working great.
I recommend coming here for an individual or family. They can accommodate all!

Just left my appointment and I was impressed with the very friendly staff and my doctor. A big shout out to Oscar who did my first tests, he kept me entertained but still very professional. Things were very organized, I had done my paperwork online before I came in and they had it all ready to go. The wait time was very short and even at the end when I was checking out I had to wait since the staff was helping others but they got right to me when it was my turn and apologized for the wait. Really it was only 5 minutes. I am used to going to eye doctors and waiting half hour to check out. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for professional, latest technology and friendly staff.

As an ophthalmologist, I work with many optometrists and Dr. Hansen is one of the best optometrists I know. You are in good hands with him.

New patient — I wanted to change my eye doctor to a closer location and I selected this place due to their selection of frames (which did not disappoint). But I have to tell you, the people at the office are top notch. Annette set up my appointment and did my preliminary exams and was so nice. Dr. Wong was so patient with me and explained everything going on. And with Enrique, Liz and Annette’s help — I got some pretty cool frames. I might actually wear my glasses now. It was really fun picking out new frames. Enrique did my paperwork and he gave me all the receipts I needed for my insurance. The reviews are right. So glad to have found this place.

Great doctor, staff and location… been a patient for years. Dr. Hansen is great with adults and kids and adults who act worse than kids (me)!

My experience with Advanced Eye care Center was outstanding from beginning to end.
Liz, whom I called and set up my appointment with, was very accommodating and welcoming. When I walked in for my 9 am appointment, I was very suprised and happy to see the wide variety of eye wear.
During the full eye exam, Liz did a great job explaining to me the different uses for each equipment and answered all of my questions. When picking out my frames, both Liz and Enrique were very helpful and insightful. I loved how they were patient with me as I tried on literally every pair they had :)
Dr. Hansen was very nice and accommodating and did not hesitate to answer any questions I had.
I was also very impressed with how high tech all of Dr. Hansen’s equipment were!
I love my new glasses and will be back in due time!

Awesome office! Great selection of frames and Dr. Hansen is very professional. I appreciated all the state of the art equipment he used in his exam, he didn’t leave anything to chance.

Had a great experience. People here is nice. Although their only sale luxury frames, you still can find some good frames under $ 200.

I was very well taking care of by all the a staff. Dc Hansen was very clear and patient, gave me options for the present and the future. Before I even started, one of the girls sat down and reviewed all my insurance options (or absence of) with me… What was covered, what had a deductible, etc… Selection of glasses is good… And the staff knows the inventory. Since getting bifocal glasses was new to me, I needed some serious help in choosing the right frame.
I just wish they were one time. My appointment was at 11 am and I saw the doctor at 11:45am… Since this is the first time I go there and it seems out of character based on all the rest of my experience, I am going to assume that is was unusual and definitely go back next year.

Had a great experience. Dr. Hansen is great, everyone was great, especially Enrique. He helped me pick out frames and his honesty was very helpful! He helped me to understand the best way to use my insurance, and made it clear (insurance can be confusing, but his knowledge and explanation made it simple), and he is very dedicated to customer service — helping me find the right price points and best deal. I ended up getting both frames and contacts.
I highly recommend this place, it is inviting and chic, with the open air feel, and the customer service cannot be beat. I am lucky that I found them. Thanks Unilocal!And Enrique! You guys rock!

I have always been a fan of Dr. Hansen and his team! Their new office in Redondo is AWESOME! Love the location and the modern look. Staff is super friendly and knowledgable. Great selection of frames…
Dr. Hansen is really an expert in his field– I have a tricky astigmatism and can’t just go to a any old optical store in a mall to get my contacts… Dr. Hansen and his team personalize your experience but make it easier than going to those chain stores in the mall.

I saw Dr Wang today. She is kind and a very good doctor.

Advanced Eyecare team is very professional, technically perfect, provided explanations on the go, listened carefully to my questions, and always told me what to expect budget wise.

We are so very happy with the Advanced Eyecare Center. Our 13 year old son was having headaches regularly in class so we made a same-​day appointment on a Saturday. The doctor was well educated and the technology– leading edge. The doctor and staff helped our son understand his need for glasses and selected a great pair. The pair of glasses arrived within a week.
Because of our great experience, we scheduled «Dad» for an appointment later that week. Once again — great doctor and great eyeglass selection.
We had one minor problem with my Son’s glasses in which they fixed up on a walk-​in bases.
We have been to another eyeglass shop within the same block of Advanced Eyecare before and they don’t hold a candlestick to the quality and care here.
