My lady and I have been to the Manhattan Beach location on Sepulveda. She has also been to the El Segundo location. Both are great! This one on Redondo is a «Never Again» and here’s why. My sandwich was tasty yes, but it had such a pathetic amount of meat on it. It was the Ed Special to go, which was Turkey, Pastrami, Lettuce, Tomato and Mayo on a roll. There was so little meat I was stunned! If a deli(even just your average corner deli) were to pull that crap in NY, they would go out of business immediately! Sooo disappointing!

This doesnt compare to the original on main. So wish i saved my money and bread calories on something else. Meat is diff than the other location and they hardly give u any. I got the turkey salami sammie n my bf got the ed or big ed. Barely any pastrami.

This is one of the main things I miss about living in Redondo Beach. I used to get the same thing every time and you cannot go wrong with Boars Head. TRYTHIS — sub with Everroast Chicken breast, Chipotle gouda cheese, spicy deli mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, freshly sliced CA avocado. They also remember you which goes a long way.

The sub sandwich was terrible!!! We got home and opened the wrapping and their was only meat and bread… No lettuce, tomatoes or dressing, just dry bread! First try at this place and will never go there again.

I’ve tried this place a half dozen times now, which verifies that I am an optimist with amnesia. I really, really want to like this place, because it’s convenient, family owned, and claims to be «The biggest, the best, and fastest sandwiches from coast to coast». I’ll give them fast, but everything else ends up leaving me insulted and resentful. They shouldn’t be allowed to have an Italian name with how little meat they give you. It’s almost anti-Italian. This place needs a visit from my grandma to show them how to make a sandwich with love and not let you leave hungry. I just ate here, and I’m starving.

I dropped some shoes off at the shoe repair next door in Riviera Village and decided to grab a sandwich. I ordered a small roast beef which comes on a nice soft roll. The problem is you only get meat, lettuce, cheese, 1(one) slice of tomato, mayo and mustard. No pickles, olives, onions… not even salt and pepper. The roast beef is Boars Head and its a decent amount but for $ 8.00 I was expecting more. I will probably stick with Subway as I like the extra veggies. This location is CASH only.

Outstanding service. Tom always greets his customers by name and knows their favorite sandwich. Bread is excellent. Always soft and fresh. Premium Boars Head meats used in every order. So many options or you can create your own

We walked in, looked around and walked out. I’ve eaten at other Rinaldi’s in the South Bay so I know the food is good but this location felt ‘different’. It didn’t have the standard amenities you’d expect(or hope for). They don’t accept credit cards. It’s stuffy in there(NOAIR). You can see product in the fridge that appears unrelated to the food being served(may have just been the day we came in, but you only get one chance to make a good first impression. I’d imagine/hope the food is just as good as with the other locations, but I wouldn’t know because I didn’t even give it try.

This is NOT The Original Rinaldi’s that you know and love in Manhattan Beach and El Segundo. This place is nowhere near as good and they messed up our very simple orders. The only reason I gave a 2nd star is that they used Boarshead meat — well, they said it is, I’m not 100% sure. Our 2 sandwiches with chips and drink were $ 30. Needless to say we will not be returning.

The best sandwich shop in South Bay for sure. Honestly speaking I haven’t had a sandwich better than the godfather and I’ve tried a lot of different sandwich places. Firstly the man behind the godfather is a very down to earth and humble man. I’ve been coming here for nearly 10 years but I’ll never forget how he remembered my name and my order. Today I came in after not coming in for about 3 years. Still greeted me by name and knew I wanted the godfather with some bacon added to it. That’s the personal relationship that most restaurants lack today so seeing that really puts a smile on my face. Secondly the godfather is delicious. Packed on with lots of meat, cheese, and some lettuce and tomatoes. Words can’t really describe how good it tastes but I dream about this sandwich. Biting into the godfather took me down memory lane and actually craving one while I am writing this. The meat is boars heads and is high quality. It’s also very affordable, the large running under $ 10. The downside of rinaldi’s is that it is cash only. There is an ATM inside so if you don’t have cash you should be covered. Go in and give it a try. You will not be disappointed. There’s more sandwiches that you can order but like myself and many others who frequent this amazing sandwich shop, you’ll realize the godfather is the best on the menu.

Quality Boar’s Head meat, creative combinations for sandwiches, quick and friendly service. Not much more you could ask for here! Rinaldi’s is cash only, so heads up on that. I love every sandwich with Prosciutto.

This is a South Bay staple, I’ve been coming here since I was in middle school and the quality of the sandwiches remains the same– delicious, fresh, and unique. The list of cold and hot subs here is HUGE, there is something for everyone. I also love the names the owner has picked for every dish like The Godfather, Babe Watch, LAPD. If you live in the South Bay and haven’t had a sandwich from here… What are you waiting for?! Pack a cooler order some subs and hang at he beach all day, you won’t regret it!

Nice people… the best sandwiches! Their breakfast sandwiches are our favorites. I used to work within walking distance and my coworkers and I would order breakfast there, on a daily basis! Awesome and reasonable.

No AC, no public restroom, cash only and overpriced deli sandwiches. If you’re into that, by all means. So yeah. No.

It has been YEARS since I had the reason to give a restaurant/business a one star review. But Rinaldi’s of Redondo deserves every bit of that one lonely miserable little star. I have never encountered a proprietor that was more unhappy to be in business than this one. My husband and I came in: 1. Because we love the Original Rinaldi’s 2. We had a coupon I received as a promo 3. We were hungry The owner was extremely upset when presented with the coupon, at first he indicated that they did not accept the certificates at all, when I questioned why he changed his story that they are only accepted if I purchased them within a certain time frame — January — February(I then indicated the date on the certificate). He once again changed his story to indicate that they only accept print outs and not coupons via a mobile device. At this point I gave up, he was exhausting and did I mention we were hungry! We sat and ate, the food was okay, nothing amazing and definitely doesn’t even compare to the Original Rinaldi’s, they must use completely different suppliers — if they are in fact even related. In addition to the negative experience the entire place was a mess — tables, chairs and the floor were all sticky. After I finished my mediocre meal I couldn’t help but remember how rude and brash the owner was. This experience completely turned me off from ever returning to the location. I reported the owner to so they too can understand what occurred with the business. I hope they think twice before accepting his business again.

Have been visiting Rinaldi’s since I was a kid. Tom the manager and owner still remembers my name and order to this day(Large Chicken Parm)! Don’t forget Cash Only.

Do not mistake this Rinaldi’s for the same caliber as the other Rinaldi’s. We’ve been going to the other locations in El Segundo and Manhattan Beach for years, and since we were in the area, we picked up sandwiches from this spot. Mistake. The sandwiches were literally half the price, and half as tasty. They don’t take cards, which is kind of annoying when you pick up a large order. We won’t be going back. They don’t even deserve to share the name!

If your in Redondo Beach this is by far the best place to get a sandwich hot or cold. Wide selection of chips and a grand array of various drinks! Not to mention wonderful meat in all the sandwiches. If you want a great spot, check it out!!!

if there ever was one. Grabbing a sandwich here is always a delight. Every time I go, its always the same guy working and he’s just so pleasant to talk to. He takes great care in his sandwich construction and it really shows. The menu has seemingly hundreds of sandwich choices and obviously even more custom combinations available Anyone should be able to find something the like. I usually get the Bonita Loca. It has turkey, bacon, egg salad, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Their pepper jack cheese is actually 3-pepper jack, so its pretty spicy, but I love it. Catering options are available. They close at 5pm most days, which kind of sucks if you work late. Sandwiches can get a little pricey and it’s cash only, but so, so worth it.

If messy, cheesy, goodness is what you’re looking for you are at the right place. The sandwiches are warm(at least the one I had was) and delicious. With a large parking lot out front and quick service with a smile there is no reason not to pop into this place for a bite. You may want to peruse the menu before arrival since the ingredient lists are long and there tons of options. I tried the Shaq Attack(ground turkey, egg whites, sliced turkey, prosciutto, spicy mustard, lettuce, tomato, cheese) and was barely able to finish half of the small version. Prices are decent for the amount of food that you get — a small specialty sandwich is about $ 6 and a large is closer to $ 8. This place is also a regular deli where you can build your own sandwich or purchase cold cuts and your standard deli sides(potato salad, pasta salad, etc). Beverages are by the bottle and there are no public restrooms but there is a Starbucks across the street if needed.
