Bike-ride distance if you live around the community and finding this place was easy because of Unilocal. We picked up a bottle of whiskey and the place is way bigger than Mr. BJ’s liquor store. Another thing, there’s a deli/burrito store inside. It is also close to the beach and they got everything here like any other popular convenient store.

This is a great neighborhood convenience store. Affable staff, better selection than one would expect, and they are open to suggestion. Stop for fresh, homemade Mexican-food lunch, too! Sure the beach crowd stops in on sunny weekend afternoons, but the rest of the time it is a locals’ place.

Delicious and affordable burritos! And a wide selection of any of your other convenience store needs. I love this place. And if he doesn’t carry what you’re after, he’ll order it for you!

Beer is overpriced– more expensive than Whole Foods. The wine selection is very mediocre. They had my favorite type of beer, but it was 4 months expired. The packaging had been completely changed 8 months ago so clearly it was just sitting around for a long time. Liquor and food stores need to check and rotate their stock. The guy who worked there claimed they checked all the time. Obviously, that’s a lie.

This review is also for the Los Caballitos deli inside(although the entire mini-market is of 5-star caliber). I live a block away, so I have many experiences here to draw from. I could live on their breakfast burritos alone(my fav is bacon & potato with everything else: eggs, cheese, lettuce and salsa). While their Mexican food is certainly their specialty, they do have other tasty americana options(burgers, cheese-steak etc.) My only complaint is their limited hours(M-S ~ 9:30 — 4:30, closed sunday). I will cut them some slack on the hours because it is family run(one couple) and everyone needs some time off. That said, if they hired a couple people to stay open during the evenings and all weekend, they could have a lot more business.

This place gets 5 stars because Los Caballitos(the deli inside) has the BEST burritos in the South Bay. I am a burrito fiend and have to limit myself to one burrito a week or else I’d turn into a blimp. My favorite is the chicken. I think the secret is the pinto beans which are cooked over night and the salsa. My son does not like Mexican food, but he loves their breakfast burritos. Also, their carne asada tacos are to die for. And hey, pick up a bottle of wine for the weekend. What more can a southern Californian want? Burritos, booze just one block from the beach!

It’s a perfect convenience store that’s a stones throw away from our house. It’s perfect if we’re needing some last minute wine and/or Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. which my boyfriend and I so often purchase there. The staff is very friendly and they even allow us to bring our dog inside. One of the employees was friendly enough to give our dog some beef jerky during one of our visits. The wine can be a tad pricey, but you pay for the convenience. and they usually have good sales too. I have not yet tried the deli they have there, it seems to always be closed whenever I visit. Oh well… another time, and another Unilocal review for when the time comes!

This is my corner liquor store Their selections are good but I asked for one more I wanted red wine from Sardinia Dr. Oz says it cleans out the bad crap in ya Not crap, literally… other goop in the colon The wine moves the goop out, gets the good times rollin’ Why Sardinian, you ask? I think I know: It has to do with the altitude where the grapes grow Anyway, where was I… forgot my point Oh yeah! the service is great at this little joint He didn’t have the Sardinian red in stock So he ordered it, and he ordered a lot Like about 12 bottles, to have on hand Just in case there’s a big demand So far I bought 4, you better hurry A clean poop chute is one less worry Did I mention this wine is really good? Doesn’t give me heartburn like I thought it would Thanks Redondo Liquor & thanks Dr. Oz Drinking’s more productive when it’s for a good cause

This place is awesome! They have a great selection of booze for a corner store and the guys that work there are all really cool. Los Caballitos is located inside and you must get their breakfast burritos. Its only $ 4.50 and you will be stuffed for sure! If you don’t like their breakfast burritos then you’re a ruhtard! plain and simple.

Quick & Dirty: A neighborhood market w/a sandwich counter. Great selection of Beer, Wine, Champagne, and other liquor! A tad pricey. Long & Local: This«Food Mart» aka liquor store isn’t half bad for a corner market. I live within walking distance to this store and on more than a few occasions have ran in here for last minute«OHCRAP, I FORGOT!» items and scored! Sure it’s a tad pricey but when you are in the middle of baking cookies and you run out of sugar, you really don’t care how much it costs, you just want to get it fast and move on. The other day I made Chili and I only had the spices and meat but was without all the other stuff like beans, tomato paste, etc. I was surprised to find that the Food Mart had what I needed. No need to drive to Ralphs or Albertsons! The Food Mart also has a kick-ass beer, wine, and Champagne selection. They have beers that you typically can only find at Whole Foods or Bristol Farms. I was also really happy to see an assortment of Champagne’s and Sparkling Wines. They must have over 15 to choose from which is great! The Sandwich Counter inside is decent and I’ve only ordered from there a couple times. Their Chorizo Breakfast Burrito is pretty darn good! I only wished they opened earlier. By the time they open I’m thinking about lunch already. For a local Food Mart, the Redondo Food Mart does a pretty good job of covering the bases. The service is decent enough but nothing worth noting. Would I go here again? It’s walking distance which makes it too hard not to. Should you go here? If you live nearby then you probably already do. Later Locals, Sam
