First visit tonight, and wasn’t impressed at all. Food is okay, not bad not great, but the service was pretty bad. Took a long time to be greeted by our server and for the food came out. While we were eating we were never checked on to ask how our meal was. They only one who seemed to be trying was the server assistant who brought us our soups and salad. Also waited 30 minutes for our check. I don’t need to go back.

First time here and probably last. We were so confused by the décor and ambiance. Sade playing in the background, booths with tropical inspired tablecloths, knickknacks of all kinds on the walls and very dim lighting. I ordered a combination dinner to get a taste of a few items. I ordered Combo 1) spaghetti, lasagna and chicken scaloppine. You also get soup and salad. I thought the portions would be a little of everything but they were pretty large and over whelming. They were just«good», nothing special. Service was lacking as they were fairly busy with just the owner and a bus boy/server. Lots of left overs and prices were fair. We paid our bill and didn’t receive a thank you from the owner, we won’t be back.

Great locals place to meet and drink. Great bartenders and healthy drinks. The food is very customizable. They will put anything together, of they have the ingredients. Great for custom orders. If you are looking for a locals place, this is it!

Rule of thumb for Italian is when you’re stuffed, will you take another bite? Yes. Yes. Yes. The atmosphere is sort of like if your coolest aunt opened a dimly lit romantic diner, the garlic bread is complimentary, and it’s a delicious and hearty meal in great portions. Will definitely be back.

This restuarant is where we go to have special celebration dinners… like when we got the keys to our house… when we got a car… finding out we were expecting… this place never fails with their great food and awesome customer service! The friends we’ve recommended this place to were equally impressed! We will always come back!

Yet another amazing«hole in the wall» restaurant here in the South Bay. The ambiance is fairly intimate with its vintage-like décor, adequately dimmed lighting, and great lounge music; it’s a great place to take your significant other out on a date. Come here on an empty stomach because you will be greeted with fresh baked garlic bread – in addition to your soup, salad, and meal – as soon as you are seated at your table. The food here is delicious, and the portions are rather generous! A big plus. The service here is also great! All of the servers strive to make every customer happy, especially on their most busiest nights. And don’t skip out on their bar! Their lemon drops are delicious.

First time here with the family on a Friday afternoon and it was great! Patty was our waitress and she did a great job! I had the eggplant Parmesan and it was delish. The interior is antique-ish but I love it!!! Really great atmosphere and great service.

Forgot to write my review of this place. By far in my top 3 of Italian restaurants. Took my GF here for her birthday not too long ago and everything was on point. Food, service, ambiance, you name it. After this place I now rate other Italian restaurants based on their veal piccata. Highly recommend this dish to everyone that visits this place.

I called just as they were closing to get a tiramisu for take out. The man who answered was polite and happy to help even though their kitchen was closing in 10 minutes. When I got there the atmosphere was very nice and the staff I talked to was helpful. I have food restrictions that make eating dinner out difficult and I asked if I’d be able to dine there another night. I turns out almost everything is made to order(with the exception of the lasagna, because of the time required to bake it). I was super excited to hear that and will be back this week for a full meal! Oh and the tiramisu was great too!

My fiancé and I had our Valentines day dinner here. We each had one of their signature martinis. They were yummy and very strong. Their food was yummy. The ambiance is very cozy and romantic. Would definitely recommend this for a date night. :)

I was excited to try this place as its near my house. Immediately after walking in, I noticed it’s a locals type of place which was fine with me. The place was cute inside, the bar though was sadly outdated and not comfortable whatsoever. The waitress/bartender was really friendly and nice. The only reason this place only gets a 3 is because the meal I ordered(manicotti) was pretty terrible as far as resteraunt standards go. I ate it all as I was starving but it tasted like I bought it at the grocery store and heated my frozen TV dinner. The pre dinner bread was the best part of this place. I likely will not return, which sucks its so close to my house.

Classic delicious family-style Italian food, huge portions at reasonable prices, great service, inviting atmosphere. We just moved to the area and were looking for our go-to Italian spot and we found it!

Great local spot for an intimate dinner, the vibe is pretty sexy, and I live the look of the bar. Food was delicious, it was my first time having manicotti so I can’t compare but I loved it — the only complaint would be that the ends were burnt crispy(not sure if that’s how it is supposed to be though). Prices are a bit on the high side but definitely reasonable and the food is totally worth it. The service wasn’t tremendous but it wasn’t bad by any means. They have a wide selection of wine and a nice list of seafood dishes which I will be trying out my next visit. Again love the vibe it’s very Italian and cool

WHAT do they put in the food? After having two bites of the veal something-or-other, my boyfriend started feeling queasy and a few minutes later he actually went home to use the restroom since we live nearby. Had this place’s men’s restroom had a locking door this would not be an issue. His«process» took half an hour so I Ubered home. He had only eaten bland stuff we have at home that he always eats so it was definitely Brogino’s. This would have been majorly awkward for a first date so don’t try it out until you’re 100% comfortable with each other! My liquid poo didn’t come til several hours later but after having the lamb shanks with that little bit of pasta they serve on the side I was very uncomfortably bloated which I found odd for what I had. Bowel issues aside, cute place! Like an Italian grandma’s kitchen, who hadn’t updated her kitchen since the 80s. But we liked it. However obviously we will not be returning. Two meals, two glasses of wine and a soda came out to $ 70. Food was okay. Not a fan of the soupy lamb shanks and potatoes. Based on the description in the menu I wasn’t expecting them in red soupiness. NOT a fan of the salad dressing that came on the salad. Veal meal was good, well it tasted good, but obviously cannot recommend. Minus two stars for priciness despite being an older low key place with diarrhea inducing food. But it is super cute so try it out if it’s in your heart of hearts… Just bring the Gas-X and make sure you already are in the comfort zone with your date. Guys, there’s a bar across the street if you need a bathroom with a lock. BTW it’s now 4:30AM and the boyfriend says«the pain can only be described as having a broken glass Christmas ornament in the sphincter.» Strange noises still emit from the other side of the bed.

My fiancé and I moved to the Redondo Area and we were hoping this would be an awesome Italian spot within walking distance from our house. We arrived and the place looked good; however, the waitress and bartender didn’t even acknowledge us as we waited for over 10 minutes to be seated or even helped. We arrived at 7pm 11÷01÷15. Please take the appropriate measures as you have lost what would have been local frequent customers. FYI we went to Scardinos off of Torrance Blvd and were treated properly.

The food was delicious and the portions were a good size. The service was good but slowed down when the restaurant got busier. They had a high fee for splitting dishes which is all my lady friend and I wanted. This place won’t be part of our regular rotation for that reason even though it’s right around the corner. I get it, but it’s just lame.

My wife and I were looking for a nice Italian restaurant in the Redondo Beach area and we stumbled onto Brogino’s. The restaurant is really cool inside and is decorated with old photographs and Italian paintings and photographs. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable of their menu. We were pretty hungry, so we both ordered different plates of soup, salad and pasta. The soup was fantastic and the pasta was on point. The portion sizes were huge and neither of us were able to finish our dinners. We both left feeling satisfied and full. If I we still lived in Redondo, we’d definitely go back.

Brogino’s is a good solid restaurant. For Italian food, it’s one of the only ones in the North Redondo Beach area that services the residential neighborhood that has an authentic home feel to it. The service is good, and the food portions are huge. The prices and quality are good. The service is friendly, ‘tho I think it has a family styled business staffing, where if/when they’re busy I can see them being short staffed and overwhelmed, but come when it’s not traditional dining hours and it’s seamless. I’d recommend the«complete» dinners when given the option, as you get the home made Minestrone Soup as well as a fresh Garden Salad. I almost always take home leftovers from here, so when you get the complete meal, those give a great variety to the meal and allows you to take home even more. The spaghetti with meat sauce, ‘tho a basic dish, is done perfectly. I walked by others eating their pizza and that’s inspired me to try it the next time based on scent and appearance. Parking is easy in the area.

I thought this place was ok. The décor is really cute, reminds me of bucca di beppo. Their complimentary garlic bread was tasty. Service was decent. As for the food, I came with my family and we all ordered different dishes. I ordered the Chicken La Napoli and it had too little chicken. I also thought it was too greasy. Everyone else thought the food was just ok as well. I did however re-heat my leftovers the next day and it tasted better :). I wouldn’t come back since i feel the prices are too high and the dishes weren’t that good. But it might be worth the try for others :)

This place was not great. I was hoping that it would be a lot better than it was since the reviews were mostly good. They had no wait on Valentine’s Day, which was good, but should have been a sign I guess. First off, the waiter was not very friendly or attentive. It took him like 20 minutes to bring us the check after we asked for it at the end of the night. The food also was not great. The garlic bread was just giant pieces of white bread with a little butter and some garlic salt or something on top, not a lot of flavor. The minestrone soup was pretty good though. For my entrée I had a special, which was described as a mushroom sauce, instead it was just alfredo sauce with some pretty uncooked giant slices of mushrooms mixed. This also had not flavor, I had to add a ton of pepper and salt to make it taste right. The scallops in the dish also were not cooked right and were rubbery in the middle. I don’t think I’ll be back, much better places for the money.
