This place gave me so much. Forever grateful. My first job, my first responsibility, first lay, 2nd lay, my first love, first public«action», i met my wife here and got my first kid out of it. Unfortunatly just like we are over. dead. done. and some new younger shinier company has moved in. BYE Coffeeattic BYE Nisha.

I was driving down to a friends in Redondo and stopped at this little coffee place near the 405. They make thier own pastries, so the place smelled great and I had one of the bran muffins which was delicious. And, besides the relaxing little place to sit and chill for a minute, the people working there(I think the owner or owers) chatted with me and were obviously proud of their coffee place and wanted me to feel like I was at home. I always like to go places that are more than the corporate here-is-your-coffee-pay-us-and-go-away. These people and the Coffee Attic whole vibe was about as anti-corporate as it gets. Good for this place to be up against so many coffee mega stores and keep such a cool place going. I will absolutely stop again and any time I am headed down to Redondo or Torrance.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops and one of the few left besides starbucks and coffee bean. Its a cute little café with good coffee they do tend to change recipes often but its always still good ! My fav is the aztec mocha!

Interesting location right next to a Petco and In n’ Out on Inglewood. The décor is nice, as I’m sure you can see from other Unilocalers’ pictures. Coffees seem a bit overpriced for me. A small chai iced latte was over $ 4, which I think is more than Starbucks. Service was nice but unless I’m desperate for a drink(which I was at the time) I don’t think I’ll be back here again just cuz of the pricey drinks.

I don’t get the high reviews for this place. It’s tiny, with only 5 small round tables and a pricey menu($ 4 for a small iced chai, and going up from there?). At least they have free Wifi.

new owners. Coffee is either way too strong, not as you ordered or completely wrong order. I often throw it away only 20% drank. all the old staff who knew your drink are gone. I know the owners try, but it just isn’t being run well anymore. Good news though, no more lines in the morning anymore, because all the locals have stopped coming and the Police discount isn’t honored anymore.

I suuuuuper dig this place. So it’s 2pm, and I’ve been hanging out at Coffee Attic for the past four hours or so. I flew into LAX from SFO at 8am and caught the green line to Redondo Beach. Then I found myself with a lot of time to kill before my cousin(who I’m staying with) gets off work. So I started walking toward the busy. About half a mile down the road I found a shopping center with Vons, Petco, Quiznos, Daphnes, Baskin Robbins and the like. In other words, commercialized chains. Go suburbia. But tucked away in the far corner, I found(thanks to FourSquare) Coffee Attic. I came in seeking solace from the rain, caffeine to keep me awake and a comfortable place to get some work done. The décor is cozy, the menu selections vast(I had a Snapple and a spinach wrap hold the cheese, and am currently nursing a large cup of tea), the owners/employees friendly, the electrical outlets plentiful(there’s nothing worse than needing to charge your laptop and finding no available place) and the music selection was pretty spot on(not awful or Starbucks-y, but running more along the lines of more mainstream indie pop and mellow acoustic-y singer-songwriters). All in all, a great place to come for a light bite and to get some work done. The only thing putting a damper on my experience had nothing to do with the establishment itself, but rather it was the screaming child of someone whose Toastmaster group was meeting who kept throwing tantrums, throwing things, repeatedly setting off the doorbell sensor(seriously about 30 times) and climbing all over the bakery case and jumping off the furniture like a monkey(all the while totally barefoot). Ohh and when he grabbed the tip jar and started rifling through the money while his oblivious mother chatted with her buddies was also classic. If I were the owner, I would have thrown a fit and asked the mother to attend to her bored child or leave. But these people didn’t, which is admirable. Better people than I. That aside though, I’ve quite enjoyed myself. And thanks Coffee Attic for letting me hang out and use your free wifi all afternoon.

Just came for the first time yesterday. It’s nicely decorated. They have fresh baked goods and good coffee. They also have free wifi access.

This is my favorite coffee shop. Their coffee ROCKS! I can’t stand the aftertaste of Starbucks and some other shops’ coffee. This place always has the best brewed coffee, in my opinion.

This place is super cute and convenient, and the only drawback is that it’s only open until 6 – 7 pm, depending on the day. I once asked the owners why that was, and they said that they had tried being open at night, but no one came in. Other than that, it’s all good. Cute little atmosphere, and the chocolate crossaints are the SHIT! If you live in the area, you should mos def check it out.

I would probably have had a better experience if I wasn’t trying to study. It’s a really small place, the tables are really close to each other, and the 2 ladies next to me were loudly yapping away while I was desperately trying to read about the history of America. AAaaarrrggghhh!!! It’s definitely more of a chill-with-your-girlfriend-and-drink-some-tea type place than a study place. The décor of the place actually kinda makes me feel like I’m sitting on a garden patio. Sweet. They have pretty much everything you can ask for: hot drinks, cold drinks, pastries(although I don’t think they warm them up for you?), wraps, paninis, and croissant sandwiches. Overall, stumbling into Coffee Attic after shopping in the ugly Petco plaza it’s sitting in was a pretty pleasant surprise. Oh yeah, they have free wireless, but you have to spend at least $ 3 on coffee/food if you want to use it.

I’d rather pay $ 1 extra for a mocha on the rocks(which they know what that is) than $ 3 for one at Starbucks and feed the evil empires pocket. This place is a real family shop with quality services. Their whip cream is home made and reaaaaaalllllllly good.
