LOVE their food. But same day online ordering is not reliable. This is the 2nd same day order lost. The store has been reliable many times for advance orders — but can no longer rely on them when we need things in a hurry. Subway is my new go-to place for quick orders.

Love this place! Love that I can call and someone answers right away. Love that they have all the foods I love. I really like their website. I can go on and choose items and keep my meals around 500 calories. I like that they send out emails with discounts and things. Just everything about this place makes me happy. Thank you!

Chicken Pesto on Ciabatta Ficelle & Spinach Sweet Crisp Salad to go — both ok. For me, it didn’t have the right harmony of flavors to make me go gaga but it was fresh. Overall, it wasn’t good or bad, just somewhere in-between. The correct rating would be 3.80 stars.

By far one of the quickest and easiest breakfasts on the planet. Clean and non-greasy. Good priced and no tipping saves you at least $ 4 on a meal. Good portions and the Swiss oatmeal is killer!

Tasty panini for breakfast, cost about $ 6.00. It seemed a little small, but it and a cup of coffee actually left me satisfied. Total bill, about $ 8.00. Pleasant enough coffee shop atmosphere.

The Internet is slow. I ordered a half sandwich and half soup. My panini was frozen cold inside and the server offered to microwave it for me. I told him I would prefer he that make me a new one.(I mean they made the cold food for me, it’s not like I left it out to get cold) the edges were warm but frozen inside. The food was mediocre for the price. The size of my sandwich was half of a sliced bread so about 1 inch by 4inches and the soup was oily. Probably not coming back.

Excellent food. Reasonable prices. Clean booths. Fast service. Loved the soup and panini combo. Just enough. But really loved the staff, two of whom went above and beyond to fetch a hat I lost in the parking lot and held onto it until I returned. Thanks April and Clayton. We were just passing through town but we will definitely return each time we’re in town!

Spend a couple of days at this location, for the first time last Thursday and Friday due to nearby vigil and funeral arrangements. If you are in this location, then I would say this is a great stop. This Corner Bakery Café is on point. The staff is great, the facility is clean and comfortable. It is not to crowded or loud and with very nice décor. Definitely a place to become a regular…

Not a bad little place to go to for lunch. I will first start by saying that the caprese flatbread sandwich is delicious, although it’s not authentic Italian bruschetta it tastes pretty damn close. The sandwich in itself is very filling, very fresh and very tasteful. I recently tried the steak sandwich, it isn’t too bad but I feel like the Chinese tasting house dip that they put on the side would have been better if it was paired with a chicken salad or maybe some sort of meat nachos or chicken wings type of meal. I feel that the flavors in the sauce aren’t compatible with those of a steak sandwich. I think maybe the sandwich should have been paired with some sort of a swret and spicy mustard or white garlic sauce type of dip as it would taste much better with the flavoring of a steak sandwich. Overall the customer service is great the food is pretty good and the atmosphere is inviting…

Take it from the Duke, this place is great. Interesting food, snacks, and drinks at a reasonable price. I have tried many of the sandwiches and my favorite is the Uptown Turkey. The Turkey is delicious and the avocado and bacon go great. It tastes light and is accompanied by natural tasting chips. My dive into the soups has been very good too. I have tried all but one and my top three favorites are the black bean, the chicken tortilla, and the tomato bisque. They are served with a fresh piece of soft bread. Avoid the chicken noodle as it comes up short compared to other good examples. I love the free samples that are sometimes sitting all the way left on the counter as you enter. Cookies or carrot cake last time. They have 2 iced teas with lemon wedges, and two old fashioned all-natural lemonades. The employees have made a couple of mistakes but they are helpful overall. place is air conditioned well and there are a few big comfortable sofa style chairs. The Duke approves!

My first experience with Corner Bakery was a birthday scavenger hunt for my boyfriend who is new to California. As I wasn’t able to be there with him, I pre-ordered a breakfast for him(Anaheim Scrambler and a variety of sweets) and sent him on a birthday adventure with only the address in hand. He loved it. We decided to come back for a sit-down breakfast. The interior looks like any other trendy coffee/breakfast place. Quite busy for my taste but quiet enough. We each ordered an Anaheim Scrambler, a coffee and iced tea for him and a capp for me. He decided to go with the Maple Pecan Bar as well. The counter staff was friendly and efficient. We were pleased with the counter service and sat down at our table and waited. After getting his drinks and preparing them as he liked, he brought them to the table. I love my coffee and am pretty choosy when it comes to coffee(but will drink any coffee if I must). The tea and coffee were rich, bold and deep flavoured. Strong, just as I like it. I was pretty happy. Our breakfast arrived. Super tasty, well seasoned, fresh. The espresso was as good as the coffee. Will definitely be back again.

On 8÷8÷2015 around 12:00pm at the first counter walking-in from the main entrance, below is my recent experience at Corner bakery. Food was okay, but services was poor… Probably won’t come back again!!! First time visitor, had question about the menu; however received no help from ordering staff at counter. That was not the worst of all. Besides getting no help, the ordering staff had attitude, impatient and unfriendliness. Perhaps, she had a bad day. That does not justify her behavior to customers… However, our experience at table was the complete opposite, Tyler was great at making sure we are getting taking care of.

Corner bakery is a great place to go and sit while you get some work done. They have free Wi-Fi and comfy couches and lots of booths to sit in. The food is great and they have a new tapas menu that is amazing… Great dessert items to choose from!

Came back on a Sunday afternoon, around 1:00. The place was pretty full, and I was worried we wouldn’t get a table. Fortunately, it took a while to place our order(the guests before us couldn’t make up their mind on what to order), so a few table did open up. Unfortunately even though we found tables, they were not clean. Apparently the staff bus the dishes, but didn’t wipe down the tables. You can still see the dish marks, water from the cup condensation and crumbs from the meal still on the table and chairs. For this visit, it took particularly long for our food, which was a chop salad and a bowl of chili. I was able to tweet the person who was representing CB, and that person even knew I was waiting for quite a while. It was busy, but not necessarily slammed. I do like Corner Bakery, but this location is not one of my favorite ones. Unfortunately the next closest one is in Manhattan Beach, about 20 minutes away. This Redondo location has the monopoly of the Torrance/Redondo/South Bay area. Too bad its not like North Orange County, where you have a bunch to choose from in a 5 mile radius. Lowering my review to 3 stars as the bussing situation has not improved since my last visit on 12⁄2014

My daughter and I had lunch there recently. I got one of those soups in a sourdough bread bowl and fell in love with the place. We’ve used them for catering school stuff for both my kids school’s often, and they always take care of us well. Be careful if you go into the location though, it’s tough to pass on the delectable desserts! Yum!

It’s been a while since I had been to Corner Bakery. My DD(Dear Daughter) sent me on a special trip to this Corner Bakery because it was the closest one to my doctor’s office. She was home sick and begged me to get her food from here so I honored the sick child’s request, strolled in and placed an order to go. I was on the fence about getting something for myself to eat and contemplated their list of soups. The gentleman at the register was very congenial, knowledgeable(of the menu), patient as I quizzed him on how spicy the soups were, what they tasted like and what was popular. He kindly offered samplings of any one I wanted. I ended up asking for one– the zesty chicken tortilla soup. I was given a pretty good-sized ladle of it to try; and here I was expecting to get a 2 tablespoon size sampling of the soup. It was very tasty and thought it would be perfect for my sick child’s sore throat and cough so I ordered it. My daughter also requested the Pomodori Chicken Panini. The cashier then suggested I order the half a sandwich with soup combination for her which also came with chips. He said it would be the perfect amount for her and less expensive than if I purchase the Panini a la carte. I thought it was very nice of him to make the recommendation when he could have easily up sold me or just let me stand there contemplating if I should order everything a la carte. It turned out to be the perfect size serving for my daughter because she ate everything. She is known to always have something left over or only eat half of her sandwich. Unfortunately I failed to get this young man’s name but I noticed that the rest of the staff at this location were very friendly, greeted with smiles, acknowledged their customers upon entry into the restaurant and overall pleasant. The restaurant itself was well lit, clean and has a very inviting setup. PARKING: There is a decent sized private lot and parking along the street. It can get crowded during mealtimes as it shares the plaza with another restaurant, a CVS and a few other businesses.

I absolutely love Corner Bakery! I don’t get to come here as often as I’d like, but I do try to make a point of it when I have time. Today, I ordered my favorites… Asian Wonton Salad: It comes with chicken, edamame, tomatoes, cucumbers, red bell peppers, carrots, onions, cilantro, crispy wontons, mixed greens and cabbage with their delicious ginger soy dressing. Chopped Salad: It comes with chicken, bacon, avocado, bleu cheese, tomatoes, green onions, ice berg and romaine lettuce and their signature house vinaigrette dressing. I also cut up red onions at home and add it to this salad. Roasted Tomato Basil Soup: It comes with croutons on top, but I tell them none for me, because I don’t like wet bread. Because of the heat from the soup, the croutons soften and it’s just gross to me, so be sure to ask for no croutons if you’re like me! :-) They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and I have also come for breakfast many times. The smoked bacon and cheddar panini will knock your socks off! They also have breakfast entrees like pancakes and eggs, the Farmer’s Scrambler that consists of scrambled eggs, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and cheddar cheese, and other delicious choices. They do have Corner Combos in which you can choose a sandwich or panini combo, signature salad combo, or a pasta combo. I’ve never tried their pastas, since I’m not a huge fan of pasta, though I will occasionally eat it. Pasta turns to sugar in your system and my hips don’t need anymore help spreading! At the same time, I’m a hypocrit about that because I absolutely love their banana muffins! Talk about something sinful! In all, this is a great location! The staff has always been friendly and helpful, though I have gotten stares from other patrons, probably because of my sleeve, because that’s where the eyes tend to settle, but people are cool here. I will definitely try to come more often.

Only stopped by here to see what the coffee options are, due to a mid afternoon slump (don’t we all get those between 1−3pm??) Well, if a nap is not an option it has to be coffee and sugar. Coffee options are pretty standard, I went with the Mocha Frappé, add caramel. Super nice service, drink came out fast, tasted super yummy. Good quality coffee and plenty of creamy, chocolaty goodness, perfect to get me through the day. I’ll keep them in mind next time i need coffee, I think they beat most others in taste and quality of product. Prices are fair, the usual $ 4 – 5.

So I didn’t have to go to work at that going out of business soon(okay not really) retail job(stock boy) at Williams Sonoma on Friday, so what did I end up doing? Going to lunch and the Corner Bakery in Redondo Beach. The Corner Bakery interrior makes me or other people feel comfy because of the interrior and it is just a relax enviroment. There is a couch there as well as plenty of chairs/tables/and booths. There is free wifi(woo hoo for check in’s). As for the food, I just ordered the chicken sandwich, not to exciting, which includes their brand of chips. They also have Coke Zero too. I wanted to try some of their coffee without buying a coffee cup so I just I took a small little cup that was meant for something else and tried it to see it was okay. Also I snacked on crackers while I was there, it is next to the coke fountain.

Regardless of it being a chain, I really like Corner Bakery. They have great food at really reasonable prices. The freshly baked goods such as bread, croissants, muffins, are always really fresh tasting and the ambiance is very clean and comfortable with the dark woods and leather upholstery for their bench seating and chairs. This location even has a sofa and a few armchairs where you can kick back and even do some laptop work since they provide free wifi. On the past few occasions, I’ve had anything from oatmeal to All American breakfast which completely meets my new dietary regimen coming with scrambled eggs, three rashers of bacon, rye toast and potatoes. I only have to switch out the potatoes for a nice bowl of fruit which they were more than willing to do. The service had always been friendly and attentive at this location. This is a great place to grab breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can get free refills on coffee. I’ll be back soon.
