My five year old daughter has been attending Karate Kids in Redondo Beach since last year and just loves it. I am so happy that it is not just about the blocks and kicks, but also teaches the kids so many essential life skills. The focus on self-​respect, acceptance, patience, etc. is so wonderful. My girl is so proud and glowing each time she gets another stripe on her belt, or better yet, a new colored belt. It shows her that if she works hard she’ll be rewarded. She looks forward to every class.

My 3 year old was bouncing off the walls and I was excited to enroll him in his first athletic endeavor. I looked for the team sports opportunities in our area and wasn’t sure that a team sport would give him all that he needed right now. It was important to teach him how to funnel the whirlwind of energy into a controlled and constructive activity. I was thrilled to have Karate Kids recommended and found the fit to be right on. He’s been participating for over a month, looks forward to each class and has recently earned his first trophy at a tournament. The RB staff in highly trained, more than helpful and we enjoy a clean and well equipped location.

My 8 year old son has been in their program for a little over a year and he loves going to all of the classes and tournaments. The staff are great at what they do. They really understand how to work with kids to train them and motivate them to succeed. And I truly believe that the instructors work hard to try to inspire self-​esteem in every student. Also, they have a great facility and use top-​of-​the-​line equipment during training.
