The backstop on the main baseball field needs to be extended. Six foul balls have been hit into the stands(and beyond!) thusfar in this game! Great breeze and clean restrooms. Go Redondo HIGHLANDERS!

Ahh. The smells of hot dogs on a Sunday morning, kids playing in the park, the Morrell House. You must visit!

. .^(^.^ ^.^ /__/\_______) /_/\_ ______) /_/\_______@ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ People call it The Dog Park. When I try to explain where I live, I often say«I live not far from The Dog Park.» It is NOT The Dog Park. Dominguez Park is about 24 acres in area and only its Northern 3-acre side is The Dog Park. I think of the rest as my personal backyard. So, it’s a block and a half away, so what? ***A yard is an enclosed area of land, usually tied to a building. The word comes from the same linguistic root as the word garden and has many of the same meanings.*** See?! If the shoe fits… I can bring my cup of coffee and sit in a beautiful Victorian rose garden, flanked by a white picket fence and two historical buildings — the Queen Anne House and the Morrell House, now museums, and listen to the the fountain that’s in the middle of the garden. I can bring my cup of coffee and sit in the bleachers of the little league field and listen to kids running around, trying to be all-serious ball players. I can bring my cup of coffee and sit at one of the few picnic tables, work on the Sunday puzzle and listen to toddlers(who still don’t know they need to be serious about anything), crawling up and down the nice play equipment setup. I can leave my cup of coffee at home and walk/jog laps on the jogging path that passes by all these park«attractions.» I like my backyard a lot.
