The surviving members of the Palos Verdes Surfing Club (PVSC), one of the first surf clubs formed in the 1930s, held their weekly meetings here on «Two For Tuesday» burger day. These men and women of the PVSC were all in their 80s and 90s. Family members and friends would join in as well.
This get together lasted years. The food was always good, the service always exceptional, and the staff became extended family to us all. When a PVSC member would pass away, the staff mourned along with us all.
The Vegi burger and the Mushroom burger were very tasty, cooked to order, and with their homemade potato chips, made for a great meal.

Cracks me up when people post one star reviews because they show up without id or order breakfast after breakfast hours and get denied. This is a good place to go grab a pint or two and eat some bar fare. They also give you a free meal on thursday, the week of your birthday. Yes, you will have to show your id, so dont leave it in your work pants. Oh and when you order a double shot, be prepared to pay for a double. Live music here on the weekend.

I come here often after work with my friends. Always good and friendly service. Drinks on point. Sometimes the music is low on week days but other than I enjoy coming here.

Great local spot if you live locally in the village or Hollywood Riviera. Henneseys serves all three meals of the day. You can have a night out shutting the bar down until 2am then come back at 9am for breakfast. The nightly crowd can vary from your blue collar crowd having some fun on the weekend or a rowdy 21st birthday party. Sunday nights is beer and a shot night, Monday’s is karaōke night which is always a blast. Henneseys really captures the local South Bay feeling of going out with some buds for some beers.
The one bartender who is a middle age white man usually wearing a visor is not the most friendly gentleman. It’s very straight forward and business. What do you want, and how are you gonna pay for it. Which is good to keep lines short.

This is a pretty average beers and burgers joint. I have no problems with their food, staff, location, etc., but there is not a whole lot to be absolutely craving here. Two-​for-​Tuesdays is definitely the way to go here.

I came for a burger and a cocktail. The food is good despite it being a bar. The service is always friendly and checking up on you. The reason for the missing star is because it was sooo warm in there. It wasn’t crowded at all. I just think they either don’t have AC or it needs to be serviced.

Came here on the Thursday during my birthday week and got a free meal! Anything I wanted from the menu! Staff is very friendly, food was good (especially mine since it was free). Kinda dark in there but it is a bar, so that’s expected. Also they had some big TVs with the games on. Nice little spot in the riviera. Will come for the 2 for 1 burgers on Tuesdays next time

I’ve. Been going. To. Hennessy s. For 15 years. .but I. Will never. Return because they refused to serve my girlfriend and me a few scrambled eggs because it was. 10 minutes after 12pm… Sunday brunch… very bad call for the staff… btw doesn’t «brunch «mean breakfast and lunch?

Chicken Club and Blue Burger from Hennessey’s in South Redondo. The food was very subpar but luckily the server was awesome and the vibe and crowd was fun. But the food was disappointing. The Chicken Club was lacking chicken and bacon. When your sandwich is all bread you need to reevaluate what kind of product you want representing you. It’s a super simple recipe for a sandwich. Come on.

Long Beach, CA
Ubered here from long beach to meet with 8 friends Right after work, had my work bag with me but after changing pants at work my wallet didn’t make the trip, I didn’t have my drivers license on me but after just applying for a new job in my work bag I had every other id under the sun but the bouncer wouldn’t let me in so all 9 of us left back to long beach. Here’s the other forms of ID I had on me: birth certificate, social security card, passport, twic card, and coast guard issued MMD.

What a great place. The drink specials are great and the food is amazing. They have a fun crowd and great waitresses and bartenders. Chelsea is one of my favorite servers always fun and my favorite manager is Kristen. All in all come check them out you’ll be happy you did.
PS the Buffalo chips are great and the Killarney Tenders are clutch. The drink specials are great especially on Mondays

Just changed my work hours so I get off at 9pm most nights. Never been by here on Bights but have been stopping in for the past month after work. Talked some others to make it a regular after work night now. The best part is the great service we receive from the bartender Kristen when we sit at the bar or Chelsea who usually serves us when we are a huge group and need a table. Those two make it easy to talk people into going here instead of somewhere else where we’ll probably have to search for the bartender to order another round or get a server to wait on us. Not here, always around asking if we need something. Plus you got $ 5 shot and beer and $ 5 appetizer specials after 9!

Steak and shrimp were bomb! Sooo good and well made. Wished it was more than 2 shrimp though. But I ate everything, my plate was empty. Enjoyed some drinks with my hun ehile we jammed out to good music. I’ll definitely be back.

They have a really good Rueben sandwich here. Comes with real potato chips. The bartender made us Micheladas even though it was not on the menu. The outside patio bar in the back was nice but the Sun beamed on us so hard. I would rather sit on a regular table than the bar seats.

This place is cool! I love the fried calamari! But I suppose I love that from anywhere. Haven’t had much more than that every time I go. Oh and Wednesday’s bottles of wine are 50% off that’s dangerous lol… Always draws a great crowd sometimes older though… Regardless it’s a place I enjoy And will continue to come visit!

The drink prices are high for what you get. I really don’t like the beer glasses. Just give me regular pint glasses or other glasses, not these tall goofy looking things.
However, the music is great, and service is great. The wings are decent. Cool patio up in the back. I’m here often. If you see me come say hi!

Great bar for sports, shots, karaōke and more. In terms of food — it’s not worth writing home about. A little on the greasy side but definitely what you’d expect from a sports bar.
Point is — go for the booze, not the food.
