Mason General Contractors

As a follow up to my previous review, the words «demo» and «dishonest»
may be inappropriate.
During our kitchen remodel, Mike verbally agreed to slightly expand the scope of his construction contract and agreed to stall lighting in certain kitchen cabinets,
order and install glass shelves in these cabinets and provide electricity outlet for a ceiling fan.
At the end of the job, Mike unilaterally decided not to perform these tasks stating these tasks were not included his original contract.
Since Mike did not perform these «extras», we have had to hire another contractor to complete the job and this contractor will be required to drill
holes into our new cabinets to install the lights and electricity outlet for the ceiling fan.
In my opinion, Mike did not complete the job he agreed to perform.

Mike has an awesome staff and a high standard for his work. He took great pains to ensure that our daily routine was disrupted as little as possible during our remodel. He is a man of integrity and keeps his word. His workers are top notch and we are exceedingly pleased with the work he has completed thusfar. One example of how he went above and beyond for our remodel was when he put in extra hours just to make sure that work was completed while we were out of town! Our neighbors have commented on how courteous and quiet his staff are as well. Highly recommended.

Called with a request to build a patio bbq, trellis, sidewalk & driveway. Received a call back the next day to inform me that the were too busy to take on my job. It was disappointing, but their behavior was professional and I respect the honesty. I would consider them in the future.

They’re all stand up guys who care greatly about the work they do, and they’re respected as professionals. The company’s geared to handle the smallest repair job on up to an entirely new home (including basements). Virtually everything is done «in-​house» as we have staff knowledgeable in just about every aspect of residential and commercial construction. We do our best to take care of each and every person that calls looking for help. If we can’t help you we’ll find someone who can. This is a family run business that has spent over 20 years building a name to be proud of. We stand by our work and strive to be professional and courteous. I highly recommend the MGC team.

Hooked up with Mike Mason back in 08 for a bathroom remodel, did a excellent job, called Mike again in March for a Kitchen remodel, Got a fair quote with a start date of ⁴⁄₁₁ & completion date of ⁶⁄₁. Actual start day ⁴⁄₁₁ (Rained ⁴⁄₁₀) Completed ⁵⁄₃₀. His Project Manager, Danny on both jobs was professional and a great guy to work with, he pointed out areas of concern and gave me great advise on what «he would do». I have recommend Mason to many friends and co workers, You can’t go wrong hiring Mason Contractors for any job, big or small.
