McDonald’s

This is the worst McDonald’s I have been to. It is just like every other McDonald’s, but if you say that I can’t even get a water cup even when I’m purchasing food, then something is wrong with your management. Any other fast food place you go to, they would give you a water cup even if you aren’t buying anything. Do not go to this McDonald’s.

I drove up here specifically, because they should have the same standards as other branches… found out that you can’t even wash hands at this branch so I left with no business.

This McDonald’s is awesome! They always play cool music like Henry Mancini and the service is great!

They definitely have stepped up their game. Awesome customer service and table service. They bring your food to you, they even refill your coffee at your table and bring you extra condiments to your table. Alissa kept checking in on us, making sure we’re good. I love this spot. They did a good job renovating the interior. I feel like I’m at a café.

Very bad experience 11−28−15 around midnight at the drive through. The girl barley spoke English and told me to drive through for my total. We literally waited 6 minutes at the window before we saw or spoke to anyone. I asked for a Neapolitan shake and I can tell she was confused by the language barrier but she never asked to clarify. We got our food shoved in our face 6 min later with no total or any sort of customer service, And fast food workers want 15 $ an hr I don’t think so.

Was craving a McDonald’s frozen lemonade or strawberry lemonade before my hockey game. I was told they have neither. :(
The location is in pretty good neighborhood off of PCH next to a Catholic Church. Maybe I should’ve prayed for my lemonade.
Very clean dining area, probably one of the cleanest McDonald’s I have been to. There is a lot of available parking with car spaces. The cashier was friendly but had a little trouble giving my $ 3.48 change.
I had to settle for a small french fries. Oh well, next time I’ll just go to my regular McDonald’s near my house.

I’ll cut to the chase. The food is fine and consistent with other McDonald’s except for one particular menu item (more on that in a minute). What brings this location down is the service. I’ve found myself waiting for a cashier to come up and take mine or another customer’s order. Are they that short-​staffed every time? The waiting time is also a bit slower than the average McDonald’s. And, as other Unilocalers have noted, none of the employees’ attitudes are pleasant or upbeat. This should be a 2 star rating but the nice location and ample parking bump it up to 3.
Now for that one menu item. I happen to enjoy McDonald’s oatmeal for a quick breakfast, even though it has 290 calories which seems kind of high. Well, don’t worry about that at this restaurant, because they consistently short you on the oatmeal. I thought it was a fluke the first time, but after it happened again I knew they were skimming off the top. I’ve had enough oatmeals at 4 or 5 other locations to know how much I’m supposed to get. You’re definitely not getting 290 calories, or your money’s worth, if you order a Fruit & Maple Oatmeal at this place. Shady

Worst customer service ever the managers are extremely rude they scream at workers

Clean and everything cooked to Mickey-​D perfection. Never have to wait long and the restaurant is always clean. Regulars come over after church, newspapers shared, free wi fi.

I made a quick stop to get a bite to eat for breakfast. The parking lot is nice because it has wide lanes to maneuver and pull through spaces for larger vehicles. The establishment is definitely cleaner and looks better than the typical Mickey D’s. You can they’ve up’d their game to match the million dollar beach homes nearby.
Good place to take a break.
Food = As expected
Seating area = clean
Service = average
Restroom = cleaner than average

The inside is way too nice to be a McD’s but it is a touristy one. Menu items are a little different. My bestie wanted some burgers.

You’ve been at the beach all day and now it’s time to head home. You’ve been scorched, burnt, dehydrated, solar radiated, and now you’re just plain in need of something cool and soothing on the inside. This location is near by. Stop off and get an ice cream cone, shake or smoothie. Try the strawberry-​banana or blueberry-​pomegranate. Me, I’ll take a vanilla shake.

The Mickey D
McDonald’s largest burger on the menu, the Mickey D, was only available in the year 1993, and it launched in January and was discontinued in the fall. The hefty burger weighed more than 1.6 times the weight of either the Quarter Pounder or Big Mac. Within the crusty roll of each Mickey D was a one-​third pound beef patty, Cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, red onions and spicy sauce.

Something must have changed when they remodeled because this place has been much better for about the last 6 months!

I like McDonald’s breakfast. This one is near my house. The problem is, they won’t take coupons! The manager actually said «we can’t take this coupon because it’s for the Western U.S.» Hello… we are Western U.S. Why would I receive coupons if they couldn’t be used in my area? Very unhelpful about coupons. Ridiculous.

I don’t eat at fast food chains very often but this one is close to work. Seems since they remodeled they don’t pay attention to the customer. I ordered a cheeseburger and small fry. The fries were not cooked, so I parked my car, went inside, told them the problem. Three managers were standing there but didn’t say a word. The cashier put more fries in the fryer. Three minutes later my burger was cold, and I got the same kind of uncooked mushy fries. Sheesh, how hard can it be. Not coming back here. That’s for sure.

While I’ve received great service here in the past, I again received extra courteous service in the drive through — before I opened my bag of food. The attendant on the intercom was extra helpful, allowing me to have a smaller sized McWrap with small fries and small drink. After I received the bag of food, I parked in the McDonald’s parking lot to make a quick phone call — and immediately opened the bag. The fries were cold and so was the grilled chicken McWrap — cold, not even lukewarm. The large Diet Coke was the only good part of my lunch.

FAIR WARNING: This McDonald’s location is not one of the «participating McDonald’s restaurants» for certain coupons, specifically those with bar codes to scan, as they are not able to or unwilling to honor certain (at their discretion and/​or ability or inability) coupon offers distributed by the corporation.
Aside from that, the staff, and this is the 2^nd time, seems very casual and unapologetic — — and believe me, I know it’s not an easy job servicing the public, but the disposition of the employees — — more so oddly of the managing supervisors who seem to provide no assistance, graciousness or understanding of basic customer service — so, I’m not looking to be hand held or kowtowed to at all (I understand this is fast food), but c’mon now.
If I were asked to provide constructive criticism by and/​or to McDonald’s I would say «Please train your staff to represent the company with a better bedside manner and not seem like they hate their jobs or could care less about being at work.» — — I do understand for a lot of ‘em it’s a job to make money not a life long career to build upon, but they should still strive for a bit of McExcellence.
So, for that reason, in comparison to other McDonald’s locations this has consistently in a «fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me» manner, has failed to live up to my basic expectations of the franchise, and is the lowest rated location based purely on service, which ranks fairly low based on a few visits.
The food at this McDonald’s is still «* * * «good, but if given an option to support any of the local McDonald’s locations for better service.
I’d recommend these other local neighboring McDonald’s locations, each being less than a 5 minute drive from this one:

There service is not bad but I cannot give a McDonald’s a five star review. So why do i go there you might ask yourself well because it’s close to my job and the people that work there are nice.
I also like there oatmeal too. Another thing about this particular McDonalds is that sometimes there coffee is very strong. it has a very strong kick to it. That is also a very major reason why I come here. I love being wired so i am totally down with this mickie dees!

I don’t really go to McDonald’s often and I can’t even remember the last time I came for lunch @McDonald’s. I know folks often don’t write reviews of McDonald’s but this one deserves a review because of their neatness and unique service.
I’m reviewing this place because I was quite impressed at how neat it was and how good the service is here. It was my first time at this location and even though plenty of people were in and out, the place was very clean. The people working there were continuously checking the tables and picking up any left over trash. It was impressive to see how well maintained the place was and how diligent the workers were with cleaning! Very nice!
Since I don’t often eat lunch here, I will go ahead and review the food too. I liked the crispy fries and I liked the ranch grilled chicken. It was a pretty tasty sandwich! I am also a fan now of their mango pineapple smoothie. It was very tasty! It reminded me of a piña colada.
A couple weeks later I came here for breakfast and saw another neat thing. They have an employee who walks around and gives refills for the coffee. This is very cool considering at other McDonald’s one normally has to walk up to the counter and wait a long time to get a refill– here they actually serve coffee like an sit down restaurant.
For breakfast I got the sausage mcgriddle. The mcgriddle is a nice little breakfast treat. The sweet mcgriddle is like a pancake sandwich. It kinda reminds me of chicken and waffles because you have the salty in the sausage like the chicken of chicken and waffles and you have the sweet in the bread like the waffles.
Nice clean place and good food and service! Good McDonalds right here!
