This park has so much potential to be 5 stars. The play structure is great for toddlers and older kids. They have special swings for bigger children with disabilities and plenty of benches for parents to sit. Plus picnic tables Here’s why I only gave it 3 stars… — the sand is littered with trash — the bathrooms are disgusting — there are a lot of older kids who play rough, jump off from the top of the structure, and use language inappropriate around the younger children and they aren’t supervised properly. So far I’ve found the best time to go is in the morning.

Great park with lots of amenities. Lots of parking. Little league baseball field. Sand area for kids. Basketball courts. Teen and senior center. Grassy field with trees and picnic tables. What more can you ask for?

Great park with a little bit of everything. There is a senior center, a teen center, a couple of play areas, basketball courts, and baseball fields.

Perry Park is great. There is one playground with an area for big kids and another for toddlers. The equipment seems pretty clean and there are always people there with kids. The park is efficient with its use of space; there are basketball courts, a youth center, senior center and baseball field. There’s also a grassy area with picnic tables under the coolest tree you’ll ever see. The only thing I don’t like about the park is the sand in the playground, it’s very messy and I’m always worried what’s in there, but other than that, it’s a nice place to take our baby. She loves the swings!

Perry Park is a nice place to take the kids to let them burn off some of that extra energy. There are Basketball courts that are fenced off next to the children’s play area. With swings, slides, Monkey Bars and trees that are just calling out to be climbed, every child can find something fun to do. And for the adults the shady areas with benches make for great spots to watch the kids or have a picnic. Tory & Eve just celebrated by using the giant tree to support their Piñata at their double Birthday party. what are you waiting for? The weather is great, get over there!

A nice park with several outdoor basketball courts. That’s what I do when I go up there, play basketball. I see several families up there and there’s a nice baseball field. It’s a nice community park.

The Good: –I love that dogs are not allowed, so there is not a bunch of poop all over the grass. –The equipment is super new and safe. –Ample picnic benches under beautiful, shade trees. –Full basketball courts and baseball field. –Equipment for both big kids and little kids. –Easy Parking. –Friendly locals. The Bad: –Like the other reviewer stated, there is no separation in the playground, so you must be weary if you have a little kid. –Tons of litter scraps everywhere with barely any garbage cans. My biggest annoyance about this park. –One of the trees drops a fruit that attracts hordes of bugs. Do no picnic under that tree.

This park has a large sandlot with a structure for toddlers and another for older kids, a community center for adolescents, a meeting room for scouts, several basketball fields, an enclosed grassy playing field, some concrete steps skateboarders like and a treed area with tables. You’re likely to go to Perry if your kid participates in North Redondo’s team sports. ‘+’ — Perry park groups together activities for all age groups, which makes it attractive to families with multiple kids. — It’s very well maintained. The sand was replaced in 2012. A crew comes by every morning to dry up the play structures. If your toddler wants to play in the early morning, Perry is a good choice. His or her pants won’t get wet. — It’s one of the few places that caters to adolescents, so it’s worth looking into for that age-group. ‘-’ — There is no division between the younger and the older kids’ structures. Since there are many older kids(including adolescents) at the park, the younger kids can get overwhelmed. I’ve seen 12 year olds, rocks and balls zip through the young kid structure. — Baseball teams will sometimes practice their throws outside of the baseball field and right next to the small kid structure. You may have to move to the other side of the park if your toddler keeps on trying to get in the middle of the throwing path. — Something about the layout of the concrete paths: this is the only park where my kid wanders off toward the streets. And along the way he will negotiate skateboarders and speedy kid bikes. So if you’re an adolescent or a kid playing on a team, great park. If you are the parent of a toddler, keep your eyes peeled. Perfect for early morning play.
