Far and away the best cleaners we have found in the LA area. Also, look for coupons in the adds that show up in your mailbox. They usually have a 50% one time and a bunch of 30−40% off ones. If you are a regular, they will always give you 30−40% off. Love Pony Square!

After work I realized that my suit pants had ripped on the inner part of my knee. I was staying out at my buddies place in Redondo Beach and he referred me to Pony Square Cleaners. I went there and was greeted by a nice older gentlemen by the name of George. He was very funny and kind and told me they would have my pants fixed by the next day (I offered to pay extra) and I asked to have the pants dry cleaned.
I come back Saturday, not only were my suit pants perfectly sewn back like new, but George also went ahead and gave me a discount for the dry cleaning. I could not have been anymore satisfied with the great job done, but more importantly the first class customer service.
Because of that, I now regularly drive from work (near Manhattan) to Pony Square Cleaners, and get my clothes dry cleaned by George. Since the change, I have not been disappointed since!

I am responding to Natalie K because I was at the cleaners when her incident occurred and believe her rating is not fair. She was so busy texting while in the shop she was rude to the employee, in this case the owner. He tried to explain the policy of never promising a time other than 5pm (printed on the receipt) and tried to be accommodating by saying, «if you have an errand you can run, I will pull your order and get it done right now». Natalie seemed fine and appreciative of the effort (while still texting). Sorry Justin K had a bad repair experience — I can not speak to the alterations but, I find their cleaning abilities exceptional.
This cleaner now Elite Cleaners is reliable and they care about their work and service. The clothes never have a chemical odor and are prepared for pick up neat and timely. The coupons they run reduce our cost. They never promise a time other than 5pm on the day your clothes are to be done, except Saturday — pick up is any time after they open.

I moved to Palos Verdes two years ago and the first cleaners I came across was Pony Square Cleaners. I started using them the week I moved into my new house and right away noticed the quality of the laundry they produce. I usually give them about 8 polo tops and 4 pants every Friday and it is always ready by the following day wrapped and looking fresh! George is the man there who has helped me since day one and he always shakes me hand when I pick up my laundry and pay. «Knock on wood» I haven’t had any bad experiences here and don’t plan to. Also, The prices are very reasonable, nothing more and nothing less than your average cleaners.

I’ve used Pony Square Cleaners a few times now. I’ve had few dry cleans as well as a pair of pants hemmed up and, up until today, never had an issue.
Service had never been spectacular, but it hadn’t been bad either… I mean, it’s a dry cleaner, what do you expect? Well, apparently I expected a little bit too much.
I recently had a pair of dress pants tear right at the seam on the crotch of the pants. Being that these pants were about 150.00 bucks, I thought I’d try & save them instead of tossing them. I walked in to drop them off along with a shirt & asked the employee assisting me if they would be possible to repair. He assured me that it was simple and that they would look good.
*Fast forward three days*
Well, I pick up my shirt and pants today & get home. I’m pretty pleased that my pants are fixed… Until I pull off the plastic and look at them. It looks like a blind seamstress repaired them with a sewing machine that had a seizure. I mean really, you know someone is going to wear and see this & you had to know that they would not be satisfied. How hard would it have been to call me & politely say that you aren’t able to repair the pants. I would have been perfectly okay with that, instead of charging me for this… Whatever this is.
Anyhow, long story slightly shorter, take a look at the picture I’ve posted and decide for yourself if want to take the risk.
In a city where there’s a dry cleaners on every corner, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

I have been a loyal, weekly customer for three years with a lot of laundry. New management has removed loyal customer automatic discount and now needs coupon for every load. This is not the way to keep customers with large accounts.
This review has nothing to do with the quality of work, the work is out standing.
The situation was handled poorly. I don’t care where you have been in business for 30 years, you are here now. Just be nice and not abrasive.

My new favorite cleaner. This dry cleaner is now under new and much better ownership/​management. The new owner has been in the business for over thirty years. He is incredibly friendly and oversees the business all day. This cleaner has fair prices, provides great alteration work, and is usually pretty quick to turn around your clothes

Not even worth one star. Destroyed hem of my pants, used wrong color thread & were all gathered. Needed to go somewhere else to fix it. Worst thing is that they refused to return my $ 12 for ruining my pants. Not customer friendly & will ruin your clothes.

not the cheapest, just the best… I go out of my way to use them, and its always good… plus they do alterations, and its an easy in/out…and I meant that totally sexually

I’ve always been satisfied with the cleaning done here, but after this morning, I will not be coming back.
The guy who works the counter here in the mornings has always creeped me out, but I figured, eh whatever.
This morning I was picking up some things I had brought in from work to be cleaned. I needed a receipt so I could be reimbursed for the cost. The credit card machine ran out of paper as it was printing my receipt. That happens. He tried to reprint it and wasn’t able to. He told me he’d have to wait for his boss to come in. Who knows when that’ll be and I need to get to work. I asked for my claim ticket back as I can use that. He gave it back, then gave me a dirty look and started yelling at me. What the hell. So not the way to react. Time to find a new dry cleaners.

Pony square cleaners is great. They are very friendly and will always do their best to meet your needs. I’ve never had anything damaged and in regards to the price, you can’t put a price on looking good.

Great place. They have always gotten my dress shirts pressed and looking great. Never felt overcharged and always get the collar starched perfectly for me. thanks

This is my new dry cleaner. Of the 10,000,000 in the beach cities and L.A., Pony Square is great. They’re environmentally friendly, as they don’t use Perchlorethylene (PERC) during the dry cleaning process, and they’re always friendly.
The prices are right in line with others in the area, and for a little bit more cash, you get friendliness and clothes that haven’t been mangled.
As others have said, parking is a plus. If you need a snack fix you have a choice of TCBY or a new Handel’s ice cream joint. What more can you ask for?

I like this place even though it is around $ 3 an item. First of all, they have never ruined my clothes, unlike a nearby $ 1.25 place. Secondly, they listen when you say NO starch. It is also helps that are super friendly all the time. Plus, it is convenient that there is a CVS next door.

why choose this place over the million other dry cleaners in the area?
–its a good place my clothes have never come back with any missing buttons or stuff I’ve heard of that happens at other places.
–there’s always parking
–there’s a TCBY (see other reviews) in the same lot.
–keep a look out for their coupons, they offer great deals… hey, we live in so cal– everythings expensive so why not take every opportunity to save some cash? (oh, if you’ve read any of my other reviews I’m sure you can tell that I’m a bit of a umm…‘saver’)

They do a great job, they are consistent and they offer coupons.
And they are nice. Not super cheap but what great dry cleaner is?
What more can you ask for in a dry cleaner?
