This place is fantastic. I’m not usually a fan of this kind of place — a vast, rock-and-beer themed kid-friendly restaurant — but Rock & Brew in Redondo wins best in category. The main reason is their manager, Rudy, who should be cloned and installed in restaurants all over the world. He is not only completely efficient, but warm, funny and psychic, understanding your needs before you even know what they are. Rudy alone gets five stars.(We were there with seven kids under 12 and Rudy had a platter of maraschino cherries sent to their table. What kid wouldn’t love that?) We started with a giant hot pretzel. This thing was fantastic, served with a melted beer cheese dip(no orange cheese here, this was real cheese and delicious) and a hot sweet mustard. Then we got their spicy wings, which were the perfect level of spicy and not heavily breaded or greasy. Then lettuce wraps — also great. There’s also a patio that allows dogs AND has play areas for kids — but none of it feels plastic, over-bright or dirty. You can also, if you feel like it, serve yourself beer at your table — there are four taps at every table. Kind of fantastic. I would definitely come back, for Rudy alone.

Nicole went above and beyond the call of duty of getting us full on both her amazing food and strong beer. 10 out of 10 would munch again. Hooked it up with the drinks and food. Listen, this place is sweet. Get here with some friends and tear it up. The nachos are epic, and bbq sauce is DiViNe! Getting indoctrinated by rob zombie music videos while drinking highly nuanced ketchup transcends fine dining. Great head start to a blackout tonight. As I proclaimed«I’m so stuffed and happy I need a walk.»

I truly love coming here. Time to myself at lunch or a great wknd dinner. Great vibes, people, and food quality. I’m impressed with the mud day manager, he rocks. I’ll be back for more great tacos, fish, and sunshine. It’s summer time Cali! Rock and brews for the family too!

Our server mike was great. He was quick to introduce himself, super friendly and even gave us a beer sample speedily. We ordered the bbq chicken pizza and asain wings. The bbq was cooked perfectly and i enjoyed the taste of the bbq sauce. The wings were had lots of meat before you reached the bone and werent too spicy. Lastly, i enjoyed the atmosphere.

3.5 Menus are super sticky. Needs a refresh. Great vibe beer affordable and pitchers are cheap. The food is good, but a little ver priced in my opiniom for what you get. The tri tip sandwhich was really good. Chicago style dog is average(i can get that from costco). Wings were good but would like more pieces for the price. We got a $ 20 coupon in the mail for moving into the area. Sweet! All in all i would come back.

Oh Gene Simmons, this this is you and you are this place, I do recall those words so many years ago. As there. Are 2 Rock & Brews flanking the South Bay Beach Cities, you can add the LAX location to the trio I must often see almost every week. It’s important to understand«Rock & Brews«is selling an experience, and that experience is eating, drinking, or mingling under the theme of Rock & Roll music. I could say it’s drafted up like a yard house with its large interior and exterior patios, but it’s not that nice and modern. I could say it’s like a Sharkys Restuarant, but definitely not that small of full of junk all over the walls. So my take: I’ve been to the El Segundo location 1x, LAX location 2x and Redondo 2x. All of my servers and even the manager at Redondo was awesome, very helpful and asked about my meal(salad & sandwich) and cocktails. I did have a beer with my friends. So while all my experiences were good with the 3 Restuarants, I probably will not go back, why? It’s simple, it’s ego, and Gene Simmons is simply some old B– rocker in makeup whose constantly throwing out an ego. Your an old man Gene, and by now you really need to shut up and simply come to terms without, you were never a great Rock musician, you and kiss were a very good circus /pop rock band. The straw that broke the camels back? This is a rock & roll experience or vibe, and the fact«Gene«said that Princes death was pathetic shows absolutely how delusional and ego driven this brillow top part owner is. Gene Simmons is crap, yes, a sand box numb skull next to the talent of Prince. So ; Food — B Service — B+ Cocktails — c+(had to return 2 sweet Cadillacs) Environment — B(I love rock /blues history) Owners to patronize — Fail, epic. Gene needs to just shut up.

Anyplace that welcomes dogs on their patio is okay in my book. Today I was there for lunch with my pug, Thor. They brought him some carrot sticks(he loves carrots) and a bowl of water with ice cubes. Our server was great and very attentive to both me and Thor. My barbeque chicken pizza was delicious. After being shooed away from Rebel Republic’s patio because they don’t allow dogs, we happily settled at Rock & Brews and will definitely be back.

After trying rock n brews at Buena Park on Easter, we came across this place while hanging around redondo beach and stopped because we knew the food was delicious and we were hungry. Our waitress Jackie was so polite and had great customer service attitude that I would come back just for the experience! Food: I had the ribs and they were so delicious that they fell right off the bone! I had this at Buena Park too and wanted to try something new here but I remembered how awesome the ribs were and had to stick with it. I paired it with their garlic Parmesan fries. The fries are on the appetizers but I would suggest getting a different appetizer if you’re substituting something on your meal for the garlic fries. Overall, this place is great!!!

My family and my girlfriend came here for dinner on a night on PCH. I must say it has been an amazing experience! Our waitress Jackie was very kind and courteous. I loved the great customer service she brought to the table. Customer service is absolutely the main reason for the best night here! Thank you so much for your wonderful and professional service! The food(as always) is exceptional and incredible! I have never had a problem with Rock and Brews. I order the Chicken on Fire sandwich with the garlic fries on the side. Paired with the Wolf Among Weeds beer, it was by far a memorable dinner. I highly recommend families and couples alike to venture over to this fabulous hot spot and enjoy some tasty beers and food! I mean, you can’t go wrong with an establishment that is owned by the great Gene Simmons!

My buddy Jerry and I had such a great meal at Rock & Brews. Great music, AMAZINGFOOD, and best darn Cadillac Margarita in town! The Happy Hour menu definitely makes me very happy! Our server, Michael(seen pictured on the far right) was a pleasure and knew the menu explicitly. Definitely 5 stars Did I mention that the place ROCKS?!

Food is good for a brew bar. Hostess was a bit rude. Make sure you listen closely as soon as you walk because she gets irritated quickly. Our server was good and the food was good. Basic Ultimate Burger. The place is very loud, you might want to sit outside with the heaters so you can hold an adult conversation. All in all good for the type of restaurant they are. Would not be high on my list to return but convenient for good quick meal. K

Can’t get enough of Hard Rock Café? Then Rock & Brews is there for you! Located in the heart of Redondo Beach and owned by two members from the band KISS, Rock & Brews is a familiar themed chain which feels like a mash up of Hard Rock Café and Yardhouse with a dash of Hooter’s mixed in thanks to the eye friendly waitstaff. The menu offers little in the way of surprises but there is plenty to choose from and the interior is spacious, airy and if you are a fan of music(and who isn’t) quite interesting. It is kind of like your pothead-metal-loving cousin’s bedroom circa 1988, complete with band posters and flags. I visited on a warm, sunny day that demanded a Burger and decided with a name like«The Ultimate Burger» there was no other option. By «ultimate» they must mean an overcooked patty(why is impossible to get medium rare these days?) topped with two slices of melted Cheddar, Iceberg lettuce, a Tomato slice, caramelized Onions, dill Pickles and a house made Thousand Island dressing. I would say that Rock & Brews Burger is better than it has any right to be considering what an obvious tourist trap it is but«Utlimate» is pure hyperbole. It is barley alright. I suppose the«Alright Burger» is not going to sell too many branded mugs or T-shirts. Enjoyed with a piney IPA, I suppose you could do a hell of a lot worse for lunch but the Burger and Beer set me back $ 20.00 plus tip so economical it is not. Considering the alternatives in the local vicinity I doubt a return to Rock & Brews is in the cards for me but that doesn’t mean I would avoid it outright. Rock & Brews is perfectly A-Okay.

We had an awesome afternoon here for so many reasons! They offer an extensive variety of draft beers… at least 30 or more… with some tables that have personal taps! Also a variety of wines and specialty cocktails. The food was delicious… I sampled the fish tacos, calamari, tri-tip sandwich, ahi salad, garlic fries and sweet potato fries and everything was great. They also have yummy burgers, pizzas, and a «fit» menu. They have great service, classic rock, outdoor seating, a play area for kids(and they are dog friendly), ample free parking… and even though the space is large and open it never gets too loud. This is my new local restaurant/bar of choice!

Consistently excellent food, service, and my go-to for lunch, dinner and happy hour. Last week Friday, I booked a catering order(for 100 people which was delivered off-site) and a private party for 30 on the back patio. Every single person who attended the event at Rock & Brews was blown away by the excellent service, the quality(and quantity) of the food, yummy wine and drinks, as well as the extensive craft beer menu. A few weeks ago, I arrived with my youth volleyball team and their families without a reservation and while the inside of the restaurant was reserved for a private event. The wait staff was awesome, accommodating and didn’t bat an eye or forget a thing when our party of 20 arrived. The ambience is awesome, the food is fabs, and the service has always been great.

Definitely come by for their beer. I love their concept of some tables with different taps of beer. It can be dangerous… Because done of my friends would go overboard and keep drinking. I can’t even tell you how much per liter this is but I do love the concept. Now I have only gone for happy hour every time. The finger food goes well with the beers and drinks. With the pretzel… Yes the bloody pretzel being my favorite just because carbs go so well with beer. Service was always good.

Lots of outdoor seating with heaters to keep you warm! The food is pretty good– had the pizza. There is a playground that the kiddos love– even though it’s not very elaborate. Dog friendly patio! Service is great!

Great service. The manager Rudy is 5 stars in my book. Our waitress was terrific. Food was good too. All around I had a good experience. They have plenty of parking. Could stand to switch out the silverware. Good mix of rock music playing. Fun vibe, fun time.

We found hair in our food. So gross! Anyways, we know it can happen so that’s really not the reason for my 2 star review. Here’s the issue, we came in for lunch(it was not busy) and our server kept disappearing. Where was she disappearing to?! It took forever to get anything and everything from her. So finally we order… We get our food and their is hair in it. After throwing up in our mouth, we called the server over and let her know. She snatches the plate and calls the manager… The manager was gracious and removed that meals from the bills.(+1 star for an awesome manager). Here’s where is gets good… When the server finally brought our bill she literally walked by and threw it at us and kept walking. She threw it like she’s was delivering newspaper. Wth. She was so incredibly rude… It took every ounce of energy to not say something. I was utterly disappointed in experience here. Except for the manager of course.

Great atmosphere to watch the game and have a good meal, awesome variety of beer, cocktails and non– alcoholic beverages. What I like best about this place is that it’s kid/family friendly. We need more of these kinds of places because we parents also like to have a few(responsibly of course) and enjoy the games too… It’s spacious, lots of tables with indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a little play area for the kiddos, which is just awesome!!! They also offer Sunday brunch until 2 pm and happy hour! We’ll be coming back to watch the games during football season.

This was the venue to watch Michigan Wolverines kick off on 9÷3÷15. It was very exciting and a little different to me and to witness go blue fans reppin their team was such an awesome scene! This place is huge with a nice atmosphere. It is kids and pet-friendly too with a beautiful outside seatings. So with the food. We got the CALIFORNIACEVICHE. It was sour, but not too sour(I wished it was extremely sour) and the SPICYASIANWINGS was tasty. We also tried their famous PURPLERAIN just to complete the experience. We tried several cocktails, SMOKEONTHEWATER, PINEAPPLEACAIMOJITO and a martini that I can’t remember. Drinks were a little weak but tasty. We had tried some pale ale beers as well and we enjoyed them all. We had a very friendly and attentive server and the other staff were helpful. We didn’t have to chase anyone! Overall, this is a perfect place to watch the college football season and yes, we were on our classic maize and blue wolverines shirts!
