Richard is the most honest hard working man I have ever met! We have used him multiple times I’ve referred him to my mother in laws house and my moms house anyone who needs a plumber I refer them to rich. He does great work at a fair price. I will forever use RSB for all my future plumbing needs.

I have been using RSB for many years now. I own and manage rental properties and I have probably had 50 or more service calls over the years. This company does quality work at a fair price every single time. I have referred at least 10 other friends and relatives and every one called back to thank me for the referral. A couple of service calls stand out… My cousin’s ceiling had caved in due to leaking toilet seal, Richard came out immediately close to midnight and reset the toilet properly with no extra charge for the emergency service. Another time my aunt referred her neighbor to RSB for a drainage issue with a sump pump… another plumbing company had quoted him thousands of dollars telling him he needed his pump and entire system replaced. Richard came out and spotted a minor problem which he fixed instantly and it turns out the other estimate was just nonsense. Charge for this call was $ 0.00, Richard simply asked that he call him next time and tell a friend. I don’t know of many companies that treat people with that level of honesty. I have had them do drains of course, but also new toilets, faucets, gas lines, and many other things. The work has always been done right the first time and they always take the time to clean up any mess from the job. This past winter they did a double sided gas wall heater for me and their price was almost $ 1000 less than other estimates I got. This job was done by Pat and he kept working late so my tenant would have heat that night, which was much appreciated.
I also like to support locally owned small businesses, and that is what you get with RSB… you will either deal with Richard who is the owner or his brother Pat and the job will be done right at a fair price.

Overpriced, Poor Results, No follow through. Had him clear a stopped sewer line on my rental property and paid more than $ 300 (he said it cost more because he there was no main line trap and had to go to the roof of a 2 story building to snake out the line). Two months later, the line was clogged again. When the tenant called him, he refused to come out. I had to call another plumber who also said there was no trap, but offerred to remove a toilet and clean out the line for less than $ 200. When I told him the story about the previous plumber, he expressed doubt as a snake from the roof of a 2 story building seems excessively long and not likely to be effective. In any case, I am done with RSB. Hasta la Vista, baby.

TOP SHELF., these guys are good. I called Richard at about 330pm on friday. about an hour later he had his team at my door to check out the problem, as I suspected it was time to replace our hotwater heater (14 years old)…by 8pm that same evening we had a new functioning hotwater heater and very happy customers, that included them checking the problem, going to pick up new hot water heater, removing the old and installing the new one, all at what I think was a very fair price, especially given the speed of their service, they also clean up, wow. we were recommended to to RSB Plumbing by another trusted tradesman and we are very pleased we called. if you need plumbing done, don’t hesitate to call RSB

I was undecided whether to call this company — it had great reviews and bad ones, but it was local and I wanted to give them a chance. We are on Oregon Court. Anyway, the bloke was really nice and he was on time, got it taken care of and charged a very fair rate, so I have to give him five stars and say «support local businesses». I am not in any way affiliated with this company. I sometimes wonder, when the reviews are too good to believe, if people are, but this is one is creditable. I don’t know what happened with the other people or why they wrote such horrible things, but I know there are always some people that are never happy. As my mechanic said «give me a chance and I will prove myself» and he did too — (that’s Boulevard Motors on Hawthorne, if anyone needs a mechanic!) I believe in win win. So now he has one more great review — give him a chance and please post your experience on Unilocal afterwards to help other people decide. I’m going to check back!

This guy is rotten to the core. I just had to pay a REPUTABLE plumber to fix the mess that Richard left me with. He is dishonest, shows up late, if at all, with so many excuses it’s ridiculous. Stay clear of this guy — he is nothing that he says he is and will leave you high and dry when you try to get him to come back and fix the plumbing problem that you originally hired and paid him to repair.

RICHARD IS A CON, LIAR, GREEDY INEPT PLUMBER. Do not use him or recommend him. My elderly mother and I learned the hard way how dishonest, nasty and corrupt he is. Long story, but neighbors that we referred to him will NEVER use him again. You will be sorry and don’t be fooled by his nice façade. He is a Bernie Madoff who gets his high price and leaves you broke in every sense of the word!
