Hi-​Vi is a challenging full-​body workout that maximizes every second of the 40-​minute class. I haven’t found anything quite like it at other exercise studios, and the instructors are fun, friendly and passionate about what they do. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to reinvigorate their exercise routine!

Hi-​Vi is the best studio in town! My husband and I started going to this studio last year and we have seen quiet a transformation with your bodies. We even recruited friends & family to come join us. The staff is awesome, all of the ladies are fabulous instructors and they know just how and when to push you to keep doing your best. Alissa and Chrissy thank you for this amazing studio. We have also taken Adriana’s class and she is amazing and super sweet!!! She has a great workout always in place for us and we start sweating within the first 5 min! We love her! My husband really likes her class, and all guys can benefit from this class as well.

Hi-​Vi = Hell-​Yeah!
The space is ideal for Lagree: minimally decorated, well-​ventilated, and sunny without glare.
The instructors are with you for each movement, with appropriate breath-​by-​breath, rep-​by-​rep instruction (the nature of the movement changes as you fatigue, and many instructors miss this nuance)
The sequence was packed with challenging moves, well choreographed with scant leniency. Other studios will emphasize ‘minimizing transitions’ but here it is automatic: each move flowed into a good position for the next one.
The instructors INSTRUCT: they do not crack jokes, talk about their lives, or other useless BS. They know why people are there and they deliver the appropriate experience. They are professionals.
*I tried out another studio in the area who will remain nameless and it was nowhere near as FABULOUS as Hi Vi*

First off, let me state that this review is way overdue! After living in LA since 2006, teaching power yoga, and taking Lagree/​SPX classes in Santa Monica for 3+ years, I found myself very disappointed by the fitness scene in the Bay Area when I moved to RWC in the beginning of the year… that is, until I found Alisa and Hi-​Vi!!! I’ve tried all the SPX studios in The Bay, and Hi-​Vi is the only one that gives me that sweat-​drenched, muscle-​aching, yet still accessible workout I’ve come to crave and expect. After moving north, I was slowly losing my strength and muscle definition at other fitness classes, but now I feel stronger and can see my abs more than ever thanks to Alisa’s studio. I’m so glad that I’ve found my fitness home!

Yes!!! I travel for work and needed to find a studio that does Lagree Pilates to keep it up on the road. I tried out another studio in the area who will remain nameless and it was nowhere near as FABULOUS as Hi Vi.
The instructor Adriana was absolutely amazing! In contrast to the other studio she is not there to just hear herself talk in a mic. She was warm and welcoming even after finding out I would only be a walk-​in a few times a month at best. She was constantly correcting technique, pushing just enough and monitoring everyone in class individually. It felt like a private training inside a group class (if that’s possible). The class truly flew by.
The music was great, vibe of the other women was positive which I think is because of the kind of people this studio attracts.
I will definitely be using this as my alternate studio when I am traveling North for work.
Thank you for the sweat, sore muscles and the smile. The absolute Perfect combo!!!

Well I’m new to the studio, 4 classes in and I’m hooked. My core and legs get torched after every class and I keep going back for more. Alisa, Jess and Chrissy have been amazing. If you haven’t tried it, you need to. As a guy, I was a little nervous because there are lot of people way more flexible than I am and it’s definitely a change from the weight room. It’s a change I am absolutely glad I made. I’m a regular now and there is no looking back.

This studio has a bunch of amazing people running it.
I took a class here not knowing anything about the Megaformer. I read that is as high as intensity as cross fit, but not has hard on your body. During the first 5 minutes of class, I wanted to quit. It was super intense. I thought I wouldn’t make it. Our instructor helped me get my form correct and pushed me all the way to the end of the class.
I will definitely be coming back so I can get better. Highly recommended!

This is my first Unilocal review, but I just have to let everyone know how great this studio is. This is by far my new favorite workout! I went to Chrissy’s class and she is one of the best instructors I have ever had. I was new to the class but she took the time to explain how everything worked and made sure that I was not left behind in a class of more advanced people. This studio is not that close to my house, but everything about it is so great that I am willing to make the trek.

Hi-​vi is such a wonderful place.
In June I realized that the past 8 years of medical training had left me really out of shape. I finally had a normal schedule again, and wanted to commit to getting stronger and fitter, but I wasn’t feeling very enthusiastic about any of my workouts, and wasn’t seeing results. I was lucky enough to find out about hi-​vi the week it opened, and was immediately hooked. I went back 16 times that month and noticed changes in my strength and tone within weeks. It’s not just great training during class — I found myself bringing the positive energy and intensity of the method to my other workouts during the week. Alisa is such a great instructor and her enthusiasm was super motivational for me. Since then, I’ve sadly moved away, but I’m still keeping up the intensity in my workouts that I’m not sure I would have found if it weren’t for hi-​vi! I’ve been to several other Lagree studios, and hi-​vi is far and away the best.
I wish I could go right now! Hope I can visit soon :)

Hi-​vi studio is the first place that I ever tried the megaformer, and it was so great! I have a lot of joint and ligament damage, and it’s difficult for me to work out without really hurting my body. But the megaformer is perfect! Within just a couple classes, I can already feel myself getting stronger.
I live in San Francisco, so I can only go to this gym on weekends. I have tried other gyms that use the megaformer in SF, and while I can get a good workout at all of them, hi-​vi is my favorite! They have the best instructors and exercise sequences. Wish I could go more and I highly recommend it!

This is my newest obsession! I love, love, love Lagree Fitness and the Megaformer! I started classes about a month and a half ago and after the first class I was hooked. It’s awesome that anyone can try out a class without signing up for a membership for just $ 10! The New member package of 8 classes ($ 15 per class) is awesome too. After that the prices go up and it’s dependent on the number/​frequency of visits. I wish the monthly classes didn’t expire so quickly but I also understand that keeping a regular schedule is how you will see the best results. I have definitely seen results in my own body and it makes me feel both physically and mentally AWESOME! All of the staff/​instructors are super friendly and helpful when it comes to any questions I’ve had. I’ve recommended the studio to so many friends since really anyone can do it being that it’s so low impact on your joints. My one complaint is that they recently changed their class schedule without notifying their clients. It would have been nice to know they would be adjusting it as we all have schedules to maintain outside of class. In any case as if it wasn’t already apparent enough, my opinion of this place can be summed up in one word: AWESOME! :D

my abs have never burned so good! An amazing vibe and a KILLER workout! Alisa and Chrissy are absolutely incredible! They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and excited as soon as you walk through that door. Chrissy was very informative in her instructions during the class (this was my first lagree class/​my first on any type of reformer) and Alisa was a great helping hand!
It is obvious that they are truly passionate about this studio and each and every person who comes to hi-​vi.
Officially obsessed!
